:00:11. > :00:16.You've been sending us pictures of the fine weather. This one was taken
:00:17. > :00:20.by Keith Brown in the Peak District yesterday, enjoying the sunshine
:00:21. > :00:22.here. There's been a little more cloud around today across parts of
:00:23. > :00:26.the Peak District and we finished the day with cloudy skies across
:00:27. > :00:30.much of the UK. That's because there are a couple of weather fronts,
:00:31. > :00:34.picked out on the chart. You can see one moving south into the Midlands.
:00:35. > :00:38.Another one sitting through Scotland and Northern Ireland. Through the
:00:39. > :00:42.night, that rain is going to continue to move further south,
:00:43. > :00:45.merging together and behind it breaks in the cloud giving clearer
:00:46. > :00:51.spells, but still a few showers around the coast. Our temperatures
:00:52. > :00:54.by dawn are ten to 13. Still the legacy of cloudier skies across the
:00:55. > :00:59.south and South Wales first thing in the morning. With a few showers
:01:00. > :01:04.around. Things will improve here as that clears eastwards. Brighter
:01:05. > :01:06.skies further north, but a noticeable north-westerly breeze
:01:07. > :01:11.across the country throughout the day. 4.00pm and some sunshine for
:01:12. > :01:15.the south-west of England with temperatures at 17. Still the risk
:01:16. > :01:19.of perhaps a few showers to the south-east. Not many. Very isolated
:01:20. > :01:23.although one or two could be on the heavy side. Across Northern Ireland
:01:24. > :01:27.and Scotland here it is staying fine and dry into the afternoon, with
:01:28. > :01:31.temperatures around 14 to 15 for Northern Ireland and around 13 or 14
:01:32. > :01:34.for Scotland. Although later in the afternoon, it will become more
:01:35. > :01:38.overcast across the Western Isles, with some approaching fronts. These
:01:39. > :01:44.fronts will be with us on Thursday to the northern half of the UK, as
:01:45. > :01:47.fairly weak features further south. Pressure remains relatively high, so
:01:48. > :01:51.still dry across the south on Thursday, with brighter spells to
:01:52. > :01:55.the south-east. Much more overcast further north, with some rain across
:01:56. > :01:57.the hills of West Wales, north-west England and western Scotland.
:01:58. > :02:03.Throughout the afternoon, not a great deal of rain expected to the
:02:04. > :02:08.east of the Grampians and Pennines. Despite cloud, still a warm day at
:02:09. > :02:12.18 to 20. It stays warm for the south on Friday, although here,
:02:13. > :02:15.although it will be dry, it looks cloudy. A different feel to the
:02:16. > :02:20.north on Friday, with a weather front clearing away and we'll see
:02:21. > :02:24.more sunshine on offer. Still the noticeable westerly breeze and
:02:25. > :02:27.temperatures around 15. Even into the weekend, pressure remains
:02:28. > :02:32.relatively high, although the winds fall a little lighter.
