:00:00. > :00:08.Good evening. As you've just seen from your local outlook, not a huge

:00:09. > :00:13.amount changes over the next few days. The weather patterns will be

:00:14. > :00:16.blocked again. What is driving that? It's a deep area of low pressure,

:00:17. > :00:21.the remnants of hurricane Nicole in the Atlantic. That's heading towards

:00:22. > :00:25.Greenland. Set to pile up the snow here, metres of it in the next few

:00:26. > :00:29.days. It's dragging a lot of warm air into the North Atlantic on the

:00:30. > :00:32.Eastern flank. What that does is build this, high pressure. That s

:00:33. > :00:37.not going to move a great deal over the next few days. To the east, low

:00:38. > :00:39.pressure in place. That means Eastern England always prone for

:00:40. > :00:44.further showers through the rest of this week. For the rest of the UK,

:00:45. > :00:47.largely dry, some sunny days, but also rather cool nights and a few

:00:48. > :00:49.misty mornings. Some of you start that way in the morning.

:00:50. > :00:53.Temperatures in single figures for the most part. A north-west breeze.

:00:54. > :00:57.That brings in showers to the west first thing. Most prone across

:00:58. > :01:01.Liverpool bay, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales. They drift

:01:02. > :01:05.away southwards through the morning. Showers elsewhere will become fewer

:01:06. > :01:08.in number except down Eastern parts of the country. We will see more of

:01:09. > :01:11.them through the afternoon. For Scotland and Northern Ireland,

:01:12. > :01:16.better day than today. Winds lighter, fewer showers around by the

:01:17. > :01:20.afternoon. It will feel a touch warmer. Same for north-west England

:01:21. > :01:23.once the morning cloud and showers clear away. East of the Pennines,

:01:24. > :01:26.get ready, the showers are on the way for the second half of the way.

:01:27. > :01:31.Isolated showers through Wales and the south-west. Most of you spend

:01:32. > :01:33.the day dry, even if it's a fleeting shower that pushes through. One or

:01:34. > :01:37.two isolated showers in the Midlands. Greatest chance of showers

:01:38. > :01:41.Eastern counties of England through the afternoon. They'll be heavier

:01:42. > :01:45.along the coastal strip. Accompanied by gale-force wind in places. It's

:01:46. > :01:47.going to feel raw at times. The showers could come with thunder to

:01:48. > :01:50.end the day. They'll continue through the night and through the

:01:51. > :01:55.rest of the week. Eastern areas more prone. High pressure to the north

:01:56. > :01:58.and west of us. With that, the nights get chillier. A cool start to

:01:59. > :02:03.Thursday morning. Greater chance of frost in the west. Pembrokeshire

:02:04. > :02:06.down towards Cornwall, Isles of Scilly, a few showers. Down the

:02:07. > :02:10.Eastern areas of England, a few showers and quite a breeze. Mostly a

:02:11. > :02:14.dry and sunny day. Not especially warm after a chilly start. Nice

:02:15. > :02:18.enough under the sunshine. Temperatures drop further with more

:02:19. > :02:22.of a widespread frost to take us into Friday. Change on Friday, cloud

:02:23. > :02:25.in Scotland and Northern Ireland, splashes of rain. Showers and a

:02:26. > :02:26.breeze in the south-east. Most of you dry and bright.

:02:27. > :02:27.Is It was the most beautiful view

:02:28. > :02:34.I've ever been through. For one second, I was swimming on my

:02:35. > :02:42.back, and I was looking to the sky. I was swimming across

:02:43. > :02:46.the Aegean Sea.
