:00:00. > :00:00.settled and on the mild side. Nick now has all the national weather.

:00:00. > :00:11.Hello. Autumn is the season of change, most noticeably with those

:00:12. > :00:13.autumn colours on display today in Buckinghamshire, as photographed by

:00:14. > :00:16.one of our weather watchers. Always helps when there is blue sky above.

:00:17. > :00:19.Our weather is always changing regardless of the season. One of

:00:20. > :00:24.those changes is taking place, we are losing last week's Easterly

:00:25. > :00:28.winds and now a westerly wind. That means it's turning milder by day and

:00:29. > :00:32.night but it does mean the return of Atlantic weather fronts, especially

:00:33. > :00:37.to north-western parts of the UK. The reason, high pressure in Germany

:00:38. > :00:40.and low pressure Iceland. Here is the first of those weather fronts

:00:41. > :00:44.for Scotland and Northern Ireland through the night, the first part of

:00:45. > :00:47.tomorrow. There isn't a huge amount of rain associated with this. Could

:00:48. > :00:50.see rain over the hills of northern England and Wales as the night goes

:00:51. > :00:55.on. The odd shower clipping Sussex and Kent. A lot of dry weather for

:00:56. > :00:58.England and Wales. It's mild here, it's milder across the northern half

:00:59. > :01:02.of Britain compared with last night. But the further south you are the

:01:03. > :01:05.closer to that area of high pressure, and we are concerned about

:01:06. > :01:10.fog developing, especially in southern England into tomorrow

:01:11. > :01:14.morning's rush hour. Patchy, but could be dense in places, if there

:01:15. > :01:17.are travel problems keep in touch with your local radio station. Here

:01:18. > :01:21.is things in the morning. You can see the fog showing up here. Could

:01:22. > :01:26.be patches too into Wales and the Midlands, East Anglia. Maybe still

:01:27. > :01:30.the odd spot of rain over Snowdonia. Northern Ireland and Scotland, it's

:01:31. > :01:34.a different set-up. It's a milder morning than this morning but it's

:01:35. > :01:39.cloudier, breezier. There are some outbreaks of rain around. Again

:01:40. > :01:44.there isn't a huge amount of wet weather with this weather system.

:01:45. > :01:48.They'll gradually slip further South East during the day. Eventually for

:01:49. > :01:51.you things start to brighten up Could be the odd shower in England

:01:52. > :01:55.and Wales. Once the fog has gone many places will be dry and variable

:01:56. > :02:04.cloud with sunny spells coming through. It will feel pleasant in

:02:05. > :02:07.the sunshine. As we go through Wednesday evening our weakening

:02:08. > :02:11.weather front may have patchy rain to parts of northern England and

:02:12. > :02:14.North Wales, and then Wednesday night fog developing again in

:02:15. > :02:18.southern England. That could be slower to clear on Thursday morning.

:02:19. > :02:21.It's looking quiet on Thursday and Friday. Still maybe some weather

:02:22. > :02:27.fronts clipping the far north-west of the UK. But a lot of cloud, it is

:02:28. > :02:28.mild. The Met Office has a weather warning
