:00:00. > :00:00.keep it going into the weekend? It looks as though we can, a bit more

:00:00. > :00:00.cloud looks as though we can, a bit more

:00:00. > :00:09.cloud on Sunday. Now the national picture.

:00:10. > :00:14.Good evening, it will gradually get colder in the UK in the next few

:00:15. > :00:17.days, something we don't have to worry about in Australia at this

:00:18. > :00:20.time of year. Of course it's the Australian tennis open at the moment

:00:21. > :00:25.and there's a big storm moving through Melbourne at the moment.

:00:26. > :00:30.Hopefully it will have cleared through by the time of Andy Murray's

:00:31. > :00:34.match. We have high withers and light winds and some interesting

:00:35. > :00:37.contrasts despite things being very slow moving, with the sunshine to

:00:38. > :00:41.the south of the weather zone but stuck underneath the weather zone,

:00:42. > :00:44.it's been another miserably grey day. No doubt quite dreary with some

:00:45. > :00:49.patches of drizzle. This is how it looked in Staffordshire, under the

:00:50. > :00:53.weather front. In the sunshine, despite the Frosty start, a

:00:54. > :00:57.sparkling day and a fantastic sunset here in the Isle of Wight. Some

:00:58. > :01:02.areas, in parts of Northern Ireland that haven't seen much sunshine this

:01:03. > :01:06.week, actually saw the sun come out. This is Enniskillen. We are chasing

:01:07. > :01:09.cloud, and where we don't have the cloud in northern Scotland there is

:01:10. > :01:14.a good chance of seeing the aurora borealis overnight tonight, but it's

:01:15. > :01:17.cold. The cold in the south is more widespread. There is less cloud

:01:18. > :01:22.around. We are seeing fog developed through Cambridgeshire and parts of

:01:23. > :01:26.the Wash and into Lincolnshire, but in the countryside, minus six

:01:27. > :01:30.potentially tomorrow morning, just like this morning. Widely Frosty

:01:31. > :01:38.across the southern half of the UK, with some patchy, freezing fog. Also

:01:39. > :01:41.we could have the odd pocket of fog for the eastern side of the

:01:42. > :01:44.Pennines, the Vale of York and parts of Northern Ireland where we have

:01:45. > :01:47.had breaks in the cloud and the north-east of Scotland, where there

:01:48. > :01:50.are holes in the cloud. That's where we will see the best of the sunshine

:01:51. > :01:57.again. More widely tomorrow it looks as though Wales and across East

:01:58. > :02:02.Anglia and Lincolnshire, not only warm, still only 5-7dC, very little

:02:03. > :02:06.is going to change this weekend. The weather front is still withers,

:02:07. > :02:10.slightly different orientation, so it's likely any bits of drizzle and

:02:11. > :02:13.potentially snye turned -- sleet and snow for the Pennines will be in

:02:14. > :02:17.eastern areas. The Pennines and perhaps up into the Grampians will

:02:18. > :02:20.fare better. In the south-west we pick up more cloud. The temperatures

:02:21. > :02:27.are lower than they have been this week, as I hinted at the beginning.

:02:28. > :02:29.It's going to get colder this weekend, so a widespread frost. We

:02:30. > :02:30.are gradually moistening up
