:00:00. > :00:08.the weekend outlook and Jay has more details. Good night.

:00:09. > :00:14.Good evening, mixed fortunes this weekend. Today we saw a fair share

:00:15. > :00:18.of rain. This is the view one of our weather watchers in Doncaster. Not

:00:19. > :00:24.particularly inspiring. This weekend there will be some rain, but some of

:00:25. > :00:31.us will get away with a dry start. This is the satellite and a lovely

:00:32. > :00:41.day in northern Scotland. But cloud and rain and thunder and lightning

:00:42. > :00:46.in this area. Our main area of rain is stuck across Northern Ireland and

:00:47. > :00:53.Scotland. Some snow over higher ground. And windy. Four or five

:00:54. > :00:58.degrees in Glasgow and Belfast. Seven or eight for Cardiff and

:00:59. > :01:04.London. In the morning a miserable start in the east of Scotland with a

:01:05. > :01:08.cold wind. A lot of cloud and rain. And there will be some snow over

:01:09. > :01:13.higher ground. Some rain at least for a time in the central Lowlands

:01:14. > :01:17.and rain in Northern Ireland. Any rain in eastern England doesn't last

:01:18. > :01:23.long and will be out of the way quickly and many areas will do well

:01:24. > :01:27.in central and eastern England. Further west and more of a breeze

:01:28. > :01:33.and some showers in Pembrokeshire and Cornwall and they will work

:01:34. > :01:40.their way inland. Many central and eastern areas dries. The rain in

:01:41. > :01:44.Scotland edges north. Northern Scotland stays bleak, cold wet and

:01:45. > :01:49.windy. Seven or eight in the afternoon in Glasgow and Belfast.

:01:50. > :01:54.The ten to 12 in Cardiff and London. In the evening the rain in Scotland

:01:55. > :01:58.drifts further north with showers in Northern Ireland and Wales and the

:01:59. > :02:03.Midlands. The second part of weekend sees a band of rain move across

:02:04. > :02:08.England and Wales with a blustery breeze. Some sunshine fools, but

:02:09. > :02:12.showers follow on that spell. And the tail end of weather front into

:02:13. > :02:17.southern Scotland. Northern Scotland should have a reasonable day and we

:02:18. > :02:22.will see temperatures seven to eleven degrees. Next week sees

:02:23. > :02:26.scattered showers in the north and west and largely dry further south.

:02:27. > :02:36.Tuesday starts on reasonable note, but it will cloud over from the

:02:37. > :02:40.Ten different noses, ten different selfies. How cool is that?
