:00:00. > :00:00.rain on Saturday. The national picture now from Nick Miller.

:00:00. > :00:10.It looks like next week high pressure will become a player again

:00:11. > :00:14.in our weather, settling things down for some of us for a time but until

:00:15. > :00:18.then it is low-pressure, rain moving across the UK overnight but not wet

:00:19. > :00:23.all the time. Many of us at a fine day today, this was at you from West

:00:24. > :00:26.Yorkshire and Yorkshire and northern England and Northern Ireland will

:00:27. > :00:32.farewell tomorrow, after this frontal system has pushed on through

:00:33. > :00:35.the UK with rain. But as it does, it introduces milder air so for the

:00:36. > :00:38.rest of the week we will have temperatures widely into double

:00:39. > :00:43.figures. Back to the here and now and that rain which has been like an

:00:44. > :00:47.patchy across the west of the UK during the day and is now gathering

:00:48. > :00:50.strength and pace with heavy bursts as it pushes west to east and some

:00:51. > :00:54.snow on top of the hills in northern England and especially in Scotland

:00:55. > :00:57.for a time. A mild night across southern parts with the rain

:00:58. > :01:01.lingering into the morning and colder feel in Scotland later in the

:01:02. > :01:04.night with a stronger wind, strong to gale force tomorrow pushing

:01:05. > :01:09.through plenty of showers especially northern Scotland. Not many in the

:01:10. > :01:13.central belt, or southern Scotland and for Northern Ireland and

:01:14. > :01:18.northern England it should be dry for both is -- most of us with some

:01:19. > :01:21.sunny spells. Dry in North Wales and North Midlands but elsewhere in the

:01:22. > :01:25.Midlands and South world of East Anglia and the southern part of

:01:26. > :01:35.Ingleby deep cloud around and we will have outbreaks of rain

:01:36. > :01:37.occasionally -- part of England. Still those very blustery showers

:01:38. > :01:43.throughout the day in northern Scotland with some gusts of 60 mph

:01:44. > :01:46.but in southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern England, North

:01:47. > :01:51.Midlands and North Wales, mainly dry and in the sun trap it will feel

:01:52. > :01:54.mild and quite pleasant. Tomorrow evening, still in the southern

:01:55. > :01:58.England and South Wales outbreaks of Wales and in Scotland through the

:01:59. > :02:02.night these blustery showers. They will still be there first thing

:02:03. > :02:06.Thursday but they will ease off. Still stump cloud in the far south,

:02:07. > :02:10.maybe some patchy cloud in the far south-west but you can see the fine

:02:11. > :02:14.weather on Thursday, bright or sunny for many of us but on Friday there

:02:15. > :02:17.will be a band of cloud and rain spreading north and keeping plenty

:02:18. > :02:22.of cloud across the UK so still mild for most but it will look very

:02:23. > :02:24.different. The picture at the start of the weekend, still low-pressure

:02:25. > :02:41.and weather front moving through, spells of wet weather, dry brighter

:02:42. > :02:43.Let's Sing And Dance exploded onto our screens,

:02:44. > :02:46.setting the stage alight...literally.

:02:47. > :02:52.Stars were a-swinging... Could somebody help me?
