:00:00. > :00:09.Hello. Spring is in the air with temperatures reaching 14 or 15 in a

:00:10. > :00:16.few spots today as they will again over the next few days. Very

:00:17. > :00:20.pleasant in the sun. The daffodils were loving that in York. More

:00:21. > :00:27.places under blue sky tomorrow and dry. Tonight heavy showers moving

:00:28. > :00:30.across Scotland on strong to gale force winds, some may clip Northern

:00:31. > :00:35.Ireland. It's a mild night in southern England and South Wales but

:00:36. > :00:44.damp and drizzly, misty with coastal and hill fog elsewhere. Temperatures

:00:45. > :00:50.in between and dry: This damp weather hangs on from parts of the

:00:51. > :00:53.Channel Islands, to Cornwall. Elsewhere, it's getting brighter in

:00:54. > :00:56.South Wales and southern England. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland

:00:57. > :01:00.some sunny spells around from the word go. The further north there is

:01:01. > :01:04.a stronger wind initially. Showers to begin with in northern England

:01:05. > :01:09.and Scotland and many of these will fade. A brisk wind through the day

:01:10. > :01:12.in the far north of Scotland and northern isle, scattered showers

:01:13. > :01:17.will continue and this damp weather from the Channel Islands and towards

:01:18. > :01:20.Cornwall, perhaps south Devon. The fine weather into the afternoon, if

:01:21. > :01:25.you had clear blue skies today, probably cloud around tomorrow. If

:01:26. > :01:29.you had cloud today, you get to see sunshine. Temperatures respond, a

:01:30. > :01:33.few spots in south-east England threatening 16. Chilly tomorrow

:01:34. > :01:38.evening and night, where you are clear for longest a touch of frost

:01:39. > :01:41.around. More cloud coming into the west, temperatures recovering and

:01:42. > :01:44.that cloud and some rain spreading northwards on Friday. The cloud

:01:45. > :01:48.staying with us, so a different look on Friday, although many of us will

:01:49. > :01:51.still be mild. That takes us into the weekend. It's looking

:01:52. > :01:55.changeable. Weather systems bringing some spells of wet weather but there

:01:56. > :02:01.are gaps in between so sunshine at times too. By the end of the weekend

:02:02. > :02:04.a little bit cooler. The main story is we will all get to see some

:02:05. > :02:14.sunshine at some stage and probably at least one spell of rain and temp

:02:15. > :02:18.coming down a little bit. New York, tomorrow the temperatures will be

:02:19. > :02:22.13, similar to where we are. But by the weekend nowhere near it. By

:02:23. > :02:26.Saturday a plunge of cold air from Canada will take New York below

:02:27. > :02:27.freezing with some snow. Winter fighting
