:00:00. > :00:00.outlook for Saturday and Sunday is for something dry and settled, sunny

:00:00. > :00:15.spells but a bit on the cool side. This week we are starting off with a

:00:16. > :00:18.taste of winter. This is Paul and maritime air, it has come from a

:00:19. > :00:24.long way north and will push in lots of showers. The last of any mild air

:00:25. > :00:30.gets swept away with the cloud. Tonight we have showers mostly

:00:31. > :00:36.across the northern half of the UK, which will turn wintry and that

:00:37. > :00:41.means more snow, particularly across Scotland and Northern Ireland,

:00:42. > :00:47.perhaps northern England. With those temperatures it is not just snow

:00:48. > :00:51.that is a concern, it is icy roads. Quite a few wintry showers still

:00:52. > :00:55.packing in across the north and west of Northern Ireland, west of

:00:56. > :00:58.Scotland by this stage. Eastern Scotland much more sheltered so it

:00:59. > :01:02.should be drier and we may have early sunshine here as well. For

:01:03. > :01:08.England and Wales, plenty of sunshine to begin the day, some

:01:09. > :01:11.showers squeezing through the Bristol Channel. The Midlands and

:01:12. > :01:15.much of England starting off sunny but cold as well with a definite

:01:16. > :01:22.chill in the air. Tomorrow could be a good day for chasing rainbows,

:01:23. > :01:26.this was a perfect example taken today in Cumbria. Almost anywhere

:01:27. > :01:30.could catch a shower from mid-to-late morning onwards, more

:01:31. > :01:35.frequent out towards the west where we have those south-westerly winds.

:01:36. > :01:39.There will be more snow, but with heavy showers hale and Thunder is

:01:40. > :01:43.possible, and it will be cold, feeling colder in the wind. Heading

:01:44. > :01:49.into the evening we may see those showers getting swamped by wetter

:01:50. > :01:53.weather in south-west Wales, pushing northwards into northern England and

:01:54. > :01:59.southern Scotland, bumping into the cold air we have in Scotland. In the

:02:00. > :02:04.Glens it could be minus seven. The chance of snowfall across the

:02:05. > :02:07.southern uplands and the Pennines in particular by Wednesday morning.

:02:08. > :02:13.Further south raggedy band of rain pushing across central and eastern

:02:14. > :02:16.parts of England. Quite a cold wind blowing on Thursday but drier

:02:17. > :02:20.weather beginning to arrive on Thursday and that process continues,

:02:21. > :02:26.the weather improves later in the week just in time for the weekend

:02:27. > :02:36.which is quite unusual. That means no wintry showers, instead

:02:37. > :02:39.The 24-year-old man has been charged with murder.

:02:40. > :02:41.You made sure an innocent man is charged!

:02:42. > :02:43.What gives you the right to say that he's innocent?

:02:44. > :02:50.If police wrongdoing is part of this, I want to know.

:02:51. > :02:56.Huntley's definitely hiding something.
