:00:00. > :00:00.part of the weekend. 1415 degrees. Still quite breezy. Here's Thomas

:00:00. > :00:11.with the national picture. Good evening. Some good news on the

:00:12. > :00:15.weather front of this evening. The weekend is looking sunny for most of

:00:16. > :00:22.the UK. We have got clear skies across the country and it promises

:00:23. > :00:26.to be a sunny day tomorrow. We had some rain today. It rained quite

:00:27. > :00:32.heavy across parts of the South West. These are remnants of weather

:00:33. > :00:37.fronts that have been hanging around for a while. They will eventually

:00:38. > :00:42.die away. Through the course of the night, rain for the Isle of Wight

:00:43. > :00:46.westwards. Eventually we will say goodbye to this rain. First thing in

:00:47. > :00:49.the morning, let's Sue Minter the south-west. This is the exception

:00:50. > :00:55.compared to the rest of the country. Quite wet in places. Across central

:00:56. > :00:57.and southern England and parts of the Midlands in the morning, the

:00:58. > :01:05.cloud may be expensive. -- extensive. In western England and

:01:06. > :01:09.the rest of the country, a beautiful start. Colder. Temperatures not far

:01:10. > :01:17.of freezing. The winds will be light. Through the morning into the

:01:18. > :01:22.afternoon, that cloud tends to break up. You may have to wait for a while

:01:23. > :01:26.before that. Eventually it will and then we are in for a fine, fine day.

:01:27. > :01:33.The high pressure we have been promising for the last couple of

:01:34. > :01:37.days anchors itself across the UK. Here it is during the course of

:01:38. > :01:41.Saturday. The winds blow around the high pressure like so. In a

:01:42. > :01:52.clockwise fashion. That means in the centre of the high it will feel

:01:53. > :01:57.warm. Around the high whether it feels chilly. In East Anglia and the

:01:58. > :02:02.south-east, if you are going for a walk on the beach, it will be nippy.

:02:03. > :02:08.Inland it could be 16 degrees. Into next week we are going to see

:02:09. > :02:13.variable amounts of cloud. Temperatures will get up to 13 or 14

:02:14. > :02:19.Celsius. This fine weather is expected to last into next week as

:02:20. > :02:23.well. Some warm sunshine, a touch of frost in places. Beyond that, things

:02:24. > :02:45.will settle. We set off at about two o'clock

:02:46. > :02:52.in the morning, got the body out. I remember Howard

:02:53. > :02:55.had the head in a bag. We got the body into a phone box

:02:56. > :02:59.and scarpered as fast as we could. And then, of course,

:03:00. > :03:04.it was all over the press. were just pleased

:03:05. > :03:08.to get their waxwork back.
