:00:00. > :00:00.to rise into the weekend. We'll see 22 Celsius on Sunday.

:00:00. > :00:13.Hello. There was some warm sunshine around today, but it's set to get

:00:14. > :00:16.even warmer this weekend. 18 Celsius in London this afternoon. This was

:00:17. > :00:21.the scene in Chiswick, much quieter than it was on Sunday for the boat

:00:22. > :00:24.race. Under the cloud for example here in Cumbria, temperatures

:00:25. > :00:28.struggled to make double figures. Through the night we're going to

:00:29. > :00:30.hang onto a lot of cloud across north-west England, North Wales,

:00:31. > :00:35.Northern Ireland and western Scotland, where there will be a bit

:00:36. > :00:37.of drizzle on the breeze. Zero skies across many southern and eastern

:00:38. > :00:40.parts of England, together with eastern Scotland and in the

:00:41. > :00:45.countryside again, temperatures won't be far away from freezing.

:00:46. > :00:48.Just briefly, at the end of the night, because it will warm up in

:00:49. > :00:51.the sunshine. That's why we have the best of the early sunshine. The

:00:52. > :00:57.cloud will break up across Wales, the Midlands and North West England.

:00:58. > :01:01.We may hang onto more cloud in Northern Ireland and western

:01:02. > :01:06.Scotland will stop with sunshine and light winds, temperatures will be in

:01:07. > :01:09.the mid-teens. Pollen levels will be high across most of England and

:01:10. > :01:15.Wales. Its flowering birch at this time of year that the culprit.

:01:16. > :01:20.There's more sunshine on offer over the weekend, also pushing the sunny

:01:21. > :01:23.skies across Northern Ireland and into Scotland away from the far

:01:24. > :01:28.north. Temperatures for many others continuing to rise. We won't be far

:01:29. > :01:33.away from 20 Celsius and for the Grand National, a super day, clear

:01:34. > :01:36.blue skies, not a sniff of rain around Liverpool. As we've seen all

:01:37. > :01:40.week, with high pressure in charge. That will sneak away into the near

:01:41. > :01:44.continent on Sunday. Two things happen. A weather front spoils

:01:45. > :01:49.things in the north-west. At the same time we have a southerly

:01:50. > :01:52.airflow drawing in warmer air from a near continent, drier air. That

:01:53. > :01:56.means more sunshine, particularly for England and Wales, perhaps East

:01:57. > :02:00.of Scotland for a while. Some cloud will wander into western irony is

:02:01. > :02:05.off the Irish Sea and it will be more cloudy for Northern Ireland and

:02:06. > :02:08.western Scotland. It's not warm everywhere. The highest temperatures

:02:09. > :02:12.will be for East Wales, Central and eastern England, where we could see

:02:13. > :02:16.numbers as high as 23 Celsius. This warmth probably won't last be on

:02:17. > :02:21.Sunday. That weather front in the north-west moves south. Little or no

:02:22. > :02:23.rain again. We change the wind direction to more of a northerly and

:02:24. > :02:29.that will introduce cooler air on Monday. In some places temperatures

:02:30. > :02:33.could be 7-8 degrees lower than Monday. We are heading into the

:02:34. > :02:39.Easter weekend, you can find details about that online.

:02:40. > :02:58.You are the cream of the French aristocracy.

:02:59. > :03:01.I built these walls to protect myself.
