:00:00. > :00:00.of cloud around. With the outlook, it remains a little bit brighter as

:00:00. > :00:08.we go into Saturday, maybe rain later.

:00:09. > :00:14.The weather was one extreme or the other across the UK, warm and sunny,

:00:15. > :00:20.cold and grey. You can see which category Lowestoft was in, a lot of

:00:21. > :00:27.power across south-east India and South East England. -- a lot of

:00:28. > :00:30.cloud across South East Anglia and south-east England. That breeze is

:00:31. > :00:35.very important when it comes to the temperature, along the coastline in

:00:36. > :00:40.the past 24 hours. The low last night was 20 degrees, today, hanging

:00:41. > :00:44.around 9 degrees. Just across the coast, 9 degrees. The breeze coming

:00:45. > :00:48.in from the sea, quite a long sea track. The areas being cooled close

:00:49. > :00:53.to the sea temperature. That is what you get right across the coastline.

:00:54. > :00:57.Further west in the UK, you still have the breeze, but you are further

:00:58. > :01:01.away from the North Sea, so the areas are warmed in the sunshine.

:01:02. > :01:05.North-west Scotland, some down sloping going on, the air coming

:01:06. > :01:09.from the mountains, 20 degrees. You will see that again tomorrow. This

:01:10. > :01:13.temperature contrast continues as long as we keep this weather

:01:14. > :01:17.pattern. High pressure to the north, the flow from the north-east, over

:01:18. > :01:21.the sea. That is set to continue for several days to come. On that flow

:01:22. > :01:25.from the sea, cloud coming into England and Wales overnight. Some

:01:26. > :01:30.light showers and patchy rain returning to East Anglia and

:01:31. > :01:33.south-east England, not amounting to very much. Clearer skies from

:01:34. > :01:39.northern England, especially into Northern Ireland and Scotland. A few

:01:40. > :01:42.pockets of frost in Scotland as we start the day tomorrow. A bit more

:01:43. > :01:46.cloud than we saw over the past couple of days. Still sunny spells

:01:47. > :01:49.from Northern Ireland and northern England, brightening up. Much of

:01:50. > :01:53.southern England coming to East Anglia, staying rather cloudy with

:01:54. > :01:56.light showers. That noticeable north-easterly breeze, pegging the

:01:57. > :02:02.temperatures back along North Sea coasts, warmer in the sunshine to

:02:03. > :02:07.the West. Warmer in north-west Scotland, 20 Celsius possible.

:02:08. > :02:12.Little change on Friday, strong wind, particularly across southern

:02:13. > :02:17.areas. Still the odd shower. On Saturday we watch this weather

:02:18. > :02:20.system coming up from the south, into the Channel Islands. A lot of

:02:21. > :02:24.uncertainty about just how far north this is going to get. Do keep

:02:25. > :02:27.checking the forecast. North of that, maybe a light shower. Most

:02:28. > :02:28.places will be dry.
