:00:00. > :00:00.the weather in the capital and pass you to my colleague for the National

:00:00. > :00:10.forecast. Good evening. It is as if the

:00:11. > :00:14.weather knows there is a bank holiday weekend ahead. The forecast

:00:15. > :00:20.is not plain sailing. Often in this country after the heat follows a

:00:21. > :00:24.country breakdown. The heat peaked for most today, 29, a few places

:00:25. > :00:28.might see that tomorrow. For the majority, we are already seeing

:00:29. > :00:31.things change. Thunderstorms are approaching the Channel Islands.

:00:32. > :00:34.They will make their way into other southern and western areas

:00:35. > :00:38.overnight, increasing the humidity and how oppressive it feels. A

:00:39. > :00:41.really muggy night for most of us. See fog likely to come into the

:00:42. > :00:45.south and east of Scotland. That will change the complexion of the

:00:46. > :00:48.weather here. The change is under way. We will see a band of them

:00:49. > :00:52.British hours making their way eastwards and we could get intense

:00:53. > :00:56.downpours through the morning as it crosses east. The low pressure

:00:57. > :00:58.becomes slow moving close to Northern Ireland. Come the

:00:59. > :01:10.afternoon, adding the heat of the day into the

:01:11. > :01:18.mix, there could see temperatures even higher than today. That will

:01:19. > :01:23.grow big storms, potentially Scotland, later Northern Ireland.

:01:24. > :01:26.Northern England likely to see big downpours, North Wales as well. To

:01:27. > :01:31.the south of that, we keep the heat and humidity. It could be a hot day

:01:32. > :01:34.for south-eastern parts of England, 28 possibly here. It will cool down

:01:35. > :01:43.somewhat further south and west, with some cloud around the coast.

:01:44. > :01:46.The thunderstorms, for The Big Weekend in Hull, there will be a lot

:01:47. > :01:50.of people on the roads and there could be flash flooding. Large hail,

:01:51. > :01:53.thunder and lightning. They will rumble on into tomorrow evening

:01:54. > :01:56.before fading away. Tomorrow night does not look quite as uncomfortable

:01:57. > :02:01.as the coming night, although still warm. Sunday more promising,

:02:02. > :02:04.freshening up in the north. The rain gradually clearing away. More cloud

:02:05. > :02:10.around that we have seen in recent days, tomorrow and Sunday. Later in

:02:11. > :02:13.the day, with heat and humidity still with us to some degree in the

:02:14. > :02:16.South, we start to grow more thunderstorms. It looks like Sunday

:02:17. > :02:20.evening and overnight into Monday could actually be quite a stormy

:02:21. > :02:24.night. A lot of rain falling in a short space of time, thunder and

:02:25. > :02:27.lightning and some hail, potentially. There is uncertainty

:02:28. > :03:25.regarding Bank Holiday Monday and how

:03:26. > :03:29.Step in the arena, Arsenal, Chelsea.
