:00:00. > :00:00.really. Broken cloud, mostly dry and it's going to be feeling warm again.

:00:00. > :00:09.Louise has this evening's national forecast.

:00:10. > :00:13.Good evening. Not quite flaming June today, but there are signs something

:00:14. > :00:16.just more impressive through the middle of the week. Today it was a

:00:17. > :00:20.bright and breezy affair. A lot of cloud around. It started to break up

:00:21. > :00:23.down to the south and temperatures responded. In fact, we had some

:00:24. > :00:28.beautiful spells of sunshine here by the end of the day. Where we saw the

:00:29. > :00:32.12, it was cloudy, it was disappointing, and there were a few

:00:33. > :00:35.scattered showers. Those showers will continue through the night

:00:36. > :00:39.across Northern Ireland and into western Scotland. Some of them quite

:00:40. > :00:42.heavy. We will see lighter bits and pieces of showers perhaps across

:00:43. > :00:46.north-west England and North Wales. Further south and east clearer

:00:47. > :00:50.skies, a touch of mist and fog and temperatures in rural spots perhaps

:00:51. > :00:53.into single figures. The rain will be heavy across western Scotland

:00:54. > :00:58.first thing tomorrow morning. It will start to ease off as we go

:00:59. > :01:01.through the day. We keep the showers into Northern Ireland, north-west

:01:02. > :01:05.England and also North Wales. Despite that chilly start, with

:01:06. > :01:09.light winds and lots of sunshine temperatures early on will respond

:01:10. > :01:14.quickly. It will be pleasant enough at 8am. It looks likely that we will

:01:15. > :01:17.keep the sunshine for much of England and Wales throughout the

:01:18. > :01:21.day. Just a slim chance of a shower maybe across the East Midlands and

:01:22. > :01:24.East Anglia. The heavy persistent rain into western Scotland will

:01:25. > :01:31.start to fragment and become showery into the afternoon so with sunny

:01:32. > :01:35.spells temperatures will respond. 23 is possible in the south-east

:01:36. > :01:39.corner. The high pressure may well drift over to Europe as we move into

:01:40. > :01:43.Wednesday. That's going to eventually allow this low to move in

:01:44. > :01:47.but ahead of it we could drag up some warm humid air from the Azores

:01:48. > :01:52.so Wednesday could get interesting. If you like it quite hot we could

:01:53. > :01:55.see decent weather across much of England and Wales. Despite some

:01:56. > :01:59.showers into the north-west, even some of that heat and humidity will

:02:00. > :02:06.drift into Scotland. High teens likely, maybe 21 closer to the

:02:07. > :02:11.Borders. 26, possibly 27, that's 80 Fahrenheit in the south-east. But

:02:12. > :02:14.that could trigger off thundery downpours overnight Wednesday into

:02:15. > :02:19.Thursday. Eventually the low pressure drifts in from the west and

:02:20. > :02:21.we will start to see signs of something fresher behind that cold

:02:22. > :02:25.front. But it looks as though towards the end of the week it will

:02:26. > :02:27.be still be reasonable, a few scattered showers to the north and

:02:28. > :02:29.west, decent spells Hang on, you haven't even told me

:02:30. > :02:36.what it is yet. It's all anyone could talk about.

:02:37. > :02:40.Give it up!
