:00:00. > :00:00.Wednesday as the wind swings to the west. It freshens up later in the

:00:00. > :00:13.week. Now thele national forecast. The heat we are experiencing in some

:00:14. > :00:19.parts is now the most prolonged spell of heat in June, that is the

:00:20. > :00:22.key, in June, for around 20 years. We have had five days of

:00:23. > :00:29.temperatures of 30 degrees or more in a row and today up to 33 degrees

:00:30. > :00:37.just west of London. So a little too hot for some. We are on a par with

:00:38. > :00:42.many exotic locations, including Athens. Let me show you the

:00:43. > :00:48.temperatures around now, so still around the mid 20s. At 11 o'clock.

:00:49. > :00:52.The reason I'm showing you is these vams that you can see -- values you

:00:53. > :00:56.can see are higher than what we would normally get during the day

:00:57. > :01:02.time this time in June. If you see what I mean. Further north, a lot

:01:03. > :01:10.fresher in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Even 15 in Glasgow at 11

:01:11. > :01:14.o'clock is still warm. Tomorrow a weak cool front will push some of

:01:15. > :01:20.the heat further south. So perhaps a smaller area will be experiencing

:01:21. > :01:31.the higher temperatures. 30 in Cardiff. And the north sea counties

:01:32. > :01:35.only 17 degree in Newcastle. And the pollen levels are high. On

:01:36. > :01:39.Wednesday, this could be the peak of the heat at least so far. We will

:01:40. > :01:45.see a resurgence of heat from the south and there will be some thunder

:01:46. > :01:50.storms. So let's look, thicker cloud and some fresher conditions in the

:01:51. > :01:56.north-west. But some thunder storms around as well. Very hit and miss.

:01:57. > :02:01.To the south we have the sunshine, the temperatures might even get up

:02:02. > :02:06.to 34 degrees across the south. That was a more conservative figure. On

:02:07. > :02:11.Wednesday the start of Glastonbury, 29 degrees and then a sharp decline

:02:12. > :02:16.in temperature and traditionally for Glastonbury, looks as though there

:02:17. > :02:21.is a risk of thunder storms. Not just Glastonbury, but many parts of

:02:22. > :02:25.the UK and after the storms, things probably will be cooling off. Still

:02:26. > :02:27.staying hot in some of the the south eastern areas and the heat may not

:02:28. > :02:36.ease in the to live and enjoy

:02:37. > :02:40.each day as it comes rather than think, "Oh, I'll do that

:02:41. > :02:44.in the future" and not do it at all. Just appreciate

:02:45. > :02:48.what you've got that day. Find out what the UK really

:02:49. > :02:50.thinks and feels. what it can do that

:02:51. > :02:59.real history can't do. where people always seem to

:03:00. > :03:04.understand what I do - Japan.
