:00:00. > :00:07.there. Decent weather. Now the National Outlook.

:00:08. > :00:12.Good evening. Like it or not, our heatwave has been and gone. It

:00:13. > :00:17.doesn't look like hot weather will be back for quite some time.

:00:18. > :00:21.Certainly not on the scale we saw yesterday, where many places got up

:00:22. > :00:25.into the 20s, but even the mid-30s across parts of the South. What a

:00:26. > :00:29.difference a Day makes. We've brought in fresh air from the West

:00:30. > :00:35.and shaved a good 10 degrees off some of those temperatures. As the

:00:36. > :00:39.change took place a few others saw thunderstorms. Plenty more had quite

:00:40. > :00:42.a quiet day, if rather cloudy one, with some limited sunshine. Things

:00:43. > :00:46.are getting a little more lively generally because of this curl of

:00:47. > :00:49.cloud pushing in from the Atlantic. An area of low pressure and a

:00:50. > :00:52.frontal system moving across Northern Ireland, Scotland and

:00:53. > :00:56.northern England through the night, bringing some outbreaks of rain.

:00:57. > :01:00.Some of the rain could be heavy, accompanied by fairly strong and

:01:01. > :01:03.gusty winds. To the south of that, staying dry through the night and

:01:04. > :01:06.wherever you are much cooler, fresh and light than we've been used

:01:07. > :01:12.recently. Tomorrow, damp start across the northern half of the

:01:13. > :01:14.country. The band of rain thinks erratically southwards and settles

:01:15. > :01:18.in across northern England, parts of the North Midlands and Wales through

:01:19. > :01:21.the middle part of the day. To the north of that, for Northern Ireland

:01:22. > :01:26.and Scotland things will brighten up tomorrow nicely in the afternoon.

:01:27. > :01:29.Fairly breezy with a few showers into the far north-west. Quite gusty

:01:30. > :01:33.winds possible along the line of the weather front but across north-east

:01:34. > :01:37.England and North Wales probably largely dry, the rain mostly

:01:38. > :01:40.confined to the hills in the West. A bit of sunshine across the

:01:41. > :01:43.south-west. Generally clouding over across the East Midlands, the

:01:44. > :01:47.south-east, as we go through tomorrow afternoon. I will weather

:01:48. > :01:51.front continues the journey south and east through into Saturday. It

:01:52. > :01:54.will not be moving quickly. It will get stuck across the southern areas

:01:55. > :01:58.on Saturday morning. It could be a damp start for some in the south on

:01:59. > :02:03.Saturday, including Glastonbury. Rain will not amount to much and it

:02:04. > :02:07.should clear away. There will be some spells of sunshine, showers as

:02:08. > :02:14.well, a blustery day. They could be gay is across parts of Scotland and

:02:15. > :02:19.a cool day, 14 in Glasgow, 23 London -- there could be gales across parts

:02:20. > :02:21.of Scotland. Never a warm wind direction, there will be a lot of

:02:22. > :02:26.dry weather comes some showers towards the north-east. The weekend,

:02:27. > :02:28.it will be fresher, quite breezy with some rain at times. Equally,

:02:29. > :02:30.some sunshine but
