:00:00. > :00:10.Now for a look at the national forecast with Tomasz Schafernaker.

:00:11. > :00:16.Good evening. Our weather has reverted to something more like

:00:17. > :00:22.normal, as we head into the weekend. By normal I mean cooler and I mean

:00:23. > :00:24.quite mixed. Today, we had sunshine, particularly across southern and

:00:25. > :00:28.northern parts of the country. Those Weather Watch pictures from Cornwall

:00:29. > :00:31.and from western scholars. In between we had a band of cloud. Some

:00:32. > :00:35.outbreaks of patchy rain brought about by this weather front. Notice

:00:36. > :00:39.the wave on the weather front. It won't be clearing through quickly,

:00:40. > :00:43.it will be dawdling across England and where is throughout the night,

:00:44. > :00:46.bringing loud and patchy rain. Some patchy rain in Northern Ireland.

:00:47. > :00:51.Largely dry night was much of Scotland. Cool, fresh night in the

:00:52. > :00:55.north. Fairly warm and muddier the South. The weekend starts off like

:00:56. > :00:59.this. Saturday morning in Scotland, things are turning windy, a big

:01:00. > :01:03.feature in the weather tomorrow. Some showers and the best of the

:01:04. > :01:06.brightness further east. Patchy rain clearing from Northern Ireland,

:01:07. > :01:10.brightening up here. There will be outbreaks of rain across parts of

:01:11. > :01:13.north-west England, down into North Wales, and similar from East Anglia

:01:14. > :01:17.across the south-east and along the south coast of England, down into

:01:18. > :01:20.the south-west. At Glastonbury tomorrow morning there could just be

:01:21. > :01:24.a few splashes of rain. I don't think it will be a wash-out and

:01:25. > :01:27.things should brighten up a bit as the day goes on. That's the story

:01:28. > :01:31.across England and Wales, large areas of cloud through the day. Some

:01:32. > :01:36.patchy rain, particularly for hills in the West. We'll see a bit of

:01:37. > :01:40.brightness developing later on. Northern Ireland having a decent day

:01:41. > :01:43.tomorrow with spells of sunshine. Sunshine and showers for Scotland,

:01:44. > :01:47.but windy with gales in places, particularly in the far north, quite

:01:48. > :01:51.unusual for this time of year. Some persistent rain in the far north.

:01:52. > :01:57.Cool and fresh and western areas. Down to the south-east, up to 23.

:01:58. > :01:59.The strong winds across Scotland are because of this low pressure which

:02:00. > :02:04.during Saturday night in Sunday will drift its way further eastwards. It

:02:05. > :02:07.could be quite windy for a time across southern Scotland and Central

:02:08. > :02:11.parts of Scotland as well on Sunday morning. The winds should tend to

:02:12. > :02:14.ease. Sunday will be a day off your showers, more dry weather, some

:02:15. > :02:18.sunshine, although it will be a struggle to brighten things up much

:02:19. > :02:21.across the far south of England and South Wales. For most of is the

:02:22. > :02:26.cooler fresher feel. The something is up for this weekend, a mixture of

:02:27. > :02:28.sunshine and showers. It will be quite breezy particularly in the

:02:29. > :02:30.north. Generally a
