:00:00. > 3:59:59Monday. That day on Sunday looking absolutely fine. By Monday, maybe a
:00:00. > :00:00.bit more cloud. Here's Outlook with absolutely fine. By Monday, maybe a
:00:00. > :00:10.bit more cloud. Here's Outlook with Darren Bett.
:00:11. > :00:15.Hello, dry -- July is almost here but June was one of the warmest and
:00:16. > :00:18.wettest on record. This is from the Met Office, it shows areas
:00:19. > :00:24.particularly wet, notably in Scotland. This is the first month in
:00:25. > :00:28.the last year with significantly above-average rainfall. It has dried
:00:29. > :00:31.off in Scotland today. This was the scene at Newport on Tay, where we
:00:32. > :00:35.can see some brighter, warmer weather, and some sunshine on the
:00:36. > :00:39.way tomorrow, as we saw today in London, boosting temperatures up to
:00:40. > :00:43.around 22. There's a lot of cloud around at the moment. We'll see a
:00:44. > :00:46.little rain or drizzle sinking southwards, primarily across England
:00:47. > :00:50.and Wales. Most of it fading away later on. Some breaks in the cloud
:00:51. > :00:53.further north. It could be quite chilly first thing in the morning in
:00:54. > :00:57.rural Northern Ireland but under the cloud further south, temperatures 14
:00:58. > :01:02.degrees. Prospects look better on the weekend. It will be drier, not
:01:03. > :01:06.completely dry. More in the way of sunshine and it should feel warmer
:01:07. > :01:09.as well. One area to miss out at times, the north-west of the UK. The
:01:10. > :01:12.first signs of a little rain arriving towards the western isles
:01:13. > :01:17.at 9am tomorrow. After the chilly start it will cloud over fairly
:01:18. > :01:21.quickly for Northern Ireland. Ahead of the rain, some sunshine across
:01:22. > :01:24.much of Scotland. I generally dry start across England and Wales. Most
:01:25. > :01:28.of the overnight rain will have faded away by this stage. There will
:01:29. > :01:32.be more oil in a way of cloud further west across England and. The
:01:33. > :01:36.cloud will track its way eastwards during the day at ten to break up. A
:01:37. > :01:40.good deal of sunshine at times across England and way and for a
:01:41. > :01:43.time across eastern Scotland. Western Scotland is clouding over
:01:44. > :01:47.and in Northern Ireland will see outbreaks of rain and drizzle,
:01:48. > :01:50.nothing particularly heavy. Temperatures 15-17 here but 20 is
:01:51. > :01:56.possible in eastern Scotland. That will be a shock to the system! It
:01:57. > :02:01.could peak at 24 in the south-east of England. Turning windy tomorrow
:02:02. > :02:05.night, the rain will be pushed southwards into England and were. It
:02:06. > :02:07.could be a damp start the Sunday across the south-east and East
:02:08. > :02:12.Anglia. Maybe the south-west as well. It will take a little while
:02:13. > :02:15.for the rain to clear. Eventually the cloud breaks. Sunny spells more
:02:16. > :02:18.widely through the afternoon, away from the north-west where we have a
:02:19. > :02:22.few blustery showers. Temperatures may be a shade lower than Saturday,
:02:23. > :02:27.but feeling warm and sunshine. A little sunshine as we head into next
:02:28. > :02:28.week. A fair bit of cloud on these westerly winds. These weather fronts
:02:29. > :02:32.on the scene threaten a little This is what it takes to get
:02:33. > :02:43.her to come home, you know? Do you ever think about what
:02:44. > :02:51.happened all them years ago?
