:00:00. > :00:00.into the weekend, it stays pretty showery. Temperatures around the low

:00:00. > :00:00.20s. showery. Temperatures around the low

:00:00. > :00:12.20s. Hello, good evening. After a

:00:13. > :00:15.turbulent couple of days, the weather is slowly but surely

:00:16. > :00:23.beginning to calm down. We should not see too many more scenes like

:00:24. > :00:27.this, an impressive thunderstorm which affected Reigate. During the

:00:28. > :00:36.day the focus for showers and storms shifted further west and north.

:00:37. > :00:38.Those showers are a drifting across north-east England and southern

:00:39. > :00:45.Scotland. Some of these showers gave a lot of rain in a short space of

:00:46. > :00:49.time giving some localised flooding across North Wales particularly.

:00:50. > :00:52.These showers and thunderstorms will continue to trundle eastwards as we

:00:53. > :00:56.go through the rest of the night. Quite a muggy night across the

:00:57. > :01:03.eastern part of the country. Thing is beginning to turn cooler and

:01:04. > :01:07.fresh out west. 11 degrees by Belfast. Eastern Scotland and

:01:08. > :01:12.eastern England will start off cloudy with some splashes of rain.

:01:13. > :01:16.The humid start. The odd thunderstorm across East Anglia.

:01:17. > :01:19.Then the rain will clear away and for the most part, things will

:01:20. > :01:27.brighten up with some spells of sun trying. A few showers across the

:01:28. > :01:32.south-west later in the day and perhaps fringing into West Wales as

:01:33. > :01:37.well. From the Midlands up into northern England, we will see some

:01:38. > :01:40.sunshine. Temperatures nothing to write home about. One place which

:01:41. > :01:45.will stay wet is the far north-east of Scotland. Later in the afternoon

:01:46. > :01:48.we will cease showers working into Northern Ireland. Some could be

:01:49. > :01:52.thundery as well. That is the precursor to what will happen on

:01:53. > :01:56.Friday. The low pressure winding itself up, pushing into western

:01:57. > :01:59.parts of the British Isles and moving very slowly indeed. Once the

:02:00. > :02:05.rain arrives across the South West and Wales, it will not move through

:02:06. > :02:12.very quickly. A soggy day here. Some rain in the West Midlands. Eastern

:02:13. > :02:16.Scotland and England staying largely dry. Filey warmed towards the

:02:17. > :02:20.south-east, but not as warm as it has been. -- fairly warm.

:02:21. > :02:25.Low-pressure pin wheeling around across the country. This is not what

:02:26. > :02:29.you want to see if you were hoping for a dry weekend. There will be

:02:30. > :02:31.some spells of rain and perhaps the odd
