:00:00. > :00:00.weekend. showers on Friday. But a fine

:00:00. > :00:13.weekend. Darren Bett has the national forecast. Hello, the major

:00:14. > :00:20.weather story is in catastrophe in Texas. Of course the Harvey made

:00:21. > :00:28.land fall as a category 4 hurricane, but it has weakened. The centre of

:00:29. > :00:31.the storm is close to the coast and we are drawing up more warm wet air.

:00:32. > :00:36.There has been about a metre of rain and there could be another 400

:00:37. > :00:43.millimetres to come. Because this storm won't clear until the middle

:00:44. > :00:48.of week and tornado warnings are in place in Louisiana. We have had

:00:49. > :00:51.record heat today. The hottest late August bank holiday Monday on

:00:52. > :00:59.record. 28 degrees in Lincolnshire. But it has been cooler to the north

:01:00. > :01:04.under this cloud that is producing rain. That will push south. North of

:01:05. > :01:09.it a few showers, but clearer skies and chillier here to. The south

:01:10. > :01:14.after the heat of today, temperatures around 16 or 17. Some

:01:15. > :01:18.changes in the south-west as the cloud moves in here and across

:01:19. > :01:22.Wales. We start with sunshine in the south-east and East Anglia. Some

:01:23. > :01:27.showers to move away from Kent. The main area of cloud through Wales and

:01:28. > :01:31.the Midlands and Yorkshire and Lincolnshire producing some rain.

:01:32. > :01:35.But to the north brighter with some showers dotted around the coast.

:01:36. > :01:40.They will push inland through the day. Probably going to be dry at

:01:41. > :01:43.Headingley for what should be an intriguing final day. A lot of

:01:44. > :01:49.cloud. The cloud may break up in the evening. But it will be cooler than

:01:50. > :01:53.today. A very different look to the weather across Lincolnshire, through

:01:54. > :01:58.Midlands, down to the south-west, with that band of cloud and some

:01:59. > :02:01.drizzle. Brightening up in Wales and northern England. A mixture of

:02:02. > :02:06.sunshine and showers in the north-west. The last of the heat is

:02:07. > :02:10.in the south-east. Could get 27 or so in Kent. But things change here

:02:11. > :02:14.at home around the middle of the week. We have two areas of low

:02:15. > :02:18.pressure and the weather front and they will combine and head into

:02:19. > :02:23.England and Wales. Further north we still have sunshine and some

:02:24. > :02:28.showers. But much more cloud for England and Wales. A band of rain

:02:29. > :02:32.through the south-west and an increasing risk

:02:33. > :02:36.Frank Lloyd Wright is the greatest ever American architect.

:02:37. > :02:40.I'm Jonathan Adams. I'm going to travel across America
