:00:00. > :00:09.sunshine in the afternoon arriving in London through the evening.

:00:10. > :00:15.For many of us the first day of September has been financed right.

:00:16. > :00:19.We have had some heavy showers and thunderstorms across parts of

:00:20. > :00:24.eastern England. Further west it's been a quieter picture. Here's the

:00:25. > :00:26.scene as the sunset in Devon, clear skies there and with clear skies

:00:27. > :00:30.across many parts of the country it skies there and with clear skies

:00:31. > :00:36.will be quite a fresh start to the weekend. Saturday bringing us lots

:00:37. > :00:40.of sunshine, turning a bit more soggy on Sunday. A few heavy showers

:00:41. > :00:45.for the likes of Cambridge are down to Kent. Most of them easing away

:00:46. > :00:50.overnight. We have clear skies and light wind. Likely to be some mist

:00:51. > :00:53.and fog patches first thing. Temperatures just about scraping

:00:54. > :00:57.double figures for the towns and cities, but in more rural spots it's

:00:58. > :01:02.more single figures widely, and they could even be a touch of ground

:01:03. > :01:05.frost across some parts in the north, some Kodjia areas seeing a

:01:06. > :01:09.cold start to the day. To compensate, sunshine for most places

:01:10. > :01:13.from the word go. A fair bit of cloud bubbling up through the day

:01:14. > :01:18.which could bring some huge isolated showers across the East of England.

:01:19. > :01:22.In Scotland, 4pm in the afternoon, a dry and bright picture, 17 or 18

:01:23. > :01:26.degrees, feeling pleasantly light wind. Northern Ireland also having a

:01:27. > :01:32.decent day but there is some rain waiting out towards the West. Moving

:01:33. > :01:36.south across England and Wales, 19 or 20 degrees in sunny spells will

:01:37. > :01:40.feel pleasant. The chance of a few isolated showers across Norfolk and

:01:41. > :01:44.Kent. The south-west of England and much of Wales looking dry and bright

:01:45. > :01:48.for much of the day. Into the evening, we will see wind picking up

:01:49. > :01:51.in the West with rain arriving across Northern Ireland and then

:01:52. > :01:56.pushing into western Scotland, north-west England, Wales and the

:01:57. > :02:02.south-west. A wet start to Sunday here whereas Central and eastern

:02:03. > :02:05.areas will be reasonably dry and mild first thing. Sunday will be

:02:06. > :02:11.dominated by a weather front moving in from the west. High-pressure

:02:12. > :02:15.sitting at the near continent. The rain towards the West will make its

:02:16. > :02:20.way gradually further east as we had through the day. Patchy outbreaks of

:02:21. > :02:25.rain across central parts of the country through Sunday afternoon. It

:02:26. > :02:29.will be cooler than Saturday, 15-19. And then things will turn milder,

:02:30. > :02:31.although it will stay quite cloudy
