0:00:00 > 0:00:00turning cloudy with the threat of some rain. This is

0:00:01 > 0:00:04some rain. This is the national weather forecasts now.

0:00:06 > 0:00:12Good evening. Let me start the weather forecast with a bong picture

0:00:12 > 0:00:19sent in from the Highlands. Some nice squirrels playing in the snow,

0:00:19 > 0:00:22you don't get many of those squirrels in our country. The

0:00:22 > 0:00:27weather is turning milder over the next few days so the colder that was

0:00:27 > 0:00:34responsible for the snow, the polar bear across the UK, it will now be

0:00:34 > 0:00:38replaced by milder air off the Atlantic and this process is

0:00:38 > 0:00:42happening as I speak. A weather front moving across Northern parts

0:00:42 > 0:00:48of the UK introducing milder air. So nowhere near as cold this coming

0:00:48 > 0:00:52night as it was last night. Temperatures even in the South is no

0:00:52 > 0:00:58lower than around 8-10d. A lot of cloud on the way with the weather

0:00:58 > 0:01:03front on Tuesday. But it will not be dull everywhere. Across Scotland,

0:01:03 > 0:01:07the weather front has moved through and we have bright weather first

0:01:07 > 0:01:14thing in the morning and across Northern Ireland and the rest of the

0:01:14 > 0:01:18country, England and Wales, looking cloudy and damp. A little brightness

0:01:18 > 0:01:23but essentially, it is a cloudy start the day. Not desperately cold,

0:01:23 > 0:01:31temperatures in rush-hour around 9-10d. A very slow day across the

0:01:31 > 0:01:35Southern two thirds of the UK with cloud breaking up every now and

0:01:35 > 0:01:40then, brightness every now and then. Overall, cloud is dominating the

0:01:40 > 0:01:44skies with bits and pieces of light rain. Scotland and the far North of

0:01:44 > 0:01:51England enjoying autumn sunshine. That is Tuesday's forecast. Tuesday

0:01:51 > 0:01:55night in the Wednesday morning, it could turn for the almost anywhere

0:01:55 > 0:02:00across the country, especially England and Wales. Many of us,

0:02:00 > 0:02:04especially morning commuters may have to deal with patches of thick

0:02:04 > 0:02:09fog particularly outside town and not exclusively. Not very foggy

0:02:09 > 0:02:14across Northern areas, but that cloud and fog could linger into the

0:02:14 > 0:02:18afternoon across England and Wales. Temperatures could reach 12-13d,

0:02:18 > 0:02:25maybe with a bit of brightness, but with fog, a bit colder than that. On

0:02:25 > 0:02:28Thursday, brighter across the South but still 13 degrees
