0:00:08 > 0:00:13Hello. No big surprises. It's going to be another cold weekend, which

0:00:13 > 0:00:17means some more wintry showers. This is what has been happening recently,

0:00:17 > 0:00:21and this wet weather contains some snow, especially in the hills, which

0:00:21 > 0:00:26could bring some snow for a while over the moors in the south-west.

0:00:26 > 0:00:30With the wind picking up overnight, more wintry showers in Scotland and

0:00:30 > 0:00:33Northern Ireland, going back over the sea to Wales and north-west

0:00:33 > 0:00:38England. It will be a cold night, cold more widely, close to freezing

0:00:38 > 0:00:43in towns and cities and already below in many rural areas. Tomorrow

0:00:43 > 0:00:46morning, in the far north and north-east of Scotland, not quite as

0:00:46 > 0:00:51cold, but it will be very windy, but more wintry showers in western

0:00:51 > 0:00:54Scotland, with the risk of ice is continuing. Similar across Ireland

0:00:54 > 0:00:59and north-western England, with showers in north Wales filtering

0:00:59 > 0:01:05into the Midlands. For many eastern parts, it may start dry and sunny,

0:01:05 > 0:01:07certainly cold. In south-western England, a view showers around,

0:01:07 > 0:01:12mainly rain, and those are pushing south across Wales. Generally, the

0:01:12 > 0:01:17showers more across the north and west of the UK, snow over the hills.

0:01:17 > 0:01:21Further south and east, it may be dry with good spells of sunshine,

0:01:21 > 0:01:25but it will be windier than today, and it will feel cold. This is what

0:01:25 > 0:01:30it's going to be like in the wind. A cold feeling day, colder than today.

0:01:30 > 0:01:34It's going to be a mother cold night on Saturday as well. Some subtle

0:01:34 > 0:01:39change as well, a ridge of high pressure building in for a while

0:01:39 > 0:01:44ahead of bad weather system, and that means we kill off a lot of the

0:01:44 > 0:01:47showers by Sunday. Still a view across Northern Ireland and over the

0:01:47 > 0:01:53Irish Sea, perhaps into the Cheshire gap and towards the Midlands. For

0:01:53 > 0:01:57many eastern areas, a dry and quite sunny day, but further west, the

0:01:57 > 0:02:00cloud increasing more and more, bringing in some showers, and

0:02:00 > 0:02:04broadly speaking another cold day. That cloud and rain comes courtesy

0:02:04 > 0:02:09of bad weather system, which will swoop south-east on Sunday night, so

0:02:09 > 0:02:13it will not be as cold that might, but we will start with some rain

0:02:13 > 0:02:17across southern England in the morning. Clearing the south-east

0:02:17 > 0:02:21around lunchtime, and strong westerly winds will blow in some

0:02:21 > 0:02:23sunshine, probably keeping showers going but at least temperatures will

0:02:23 > 0:02:29not be as low, but only briefly. After that, the wind direction

0:02:29 > 0:02:29changes
