0:00:00 > 0:00:00or two sleety showers always possible. With more

0:00:01 > 0:00:01is looking like the coldest day. One or two sleety showers always

0:00:01 > 0:00:04possible. With more here is Darren.

0:00:09 > 0:00:13Hello, our air is getting colder but it is clean air and left us with a

0:00:13 > 0:00:17lovely sunset earlier. Lovely weather watcher pictures, too, this

0:00:17 > 0:00:22taken as the rain arrived in Cambridgeshire. My favourite up in

0:00:22 > 0:00:25Scotland in Alloa from a weather watcher. We have clear skies across

0:00:25 > 0:00:30many parts of the country overnight. Those showers becoming fewer out

0:00:30 > 0:00:36towards the west but as the wind veers more, more showers off the

0:00:36 > 0:00:41North Sea to eastern Scotland and eastern parts of England. Some

0:00:41 > 0:00:48wintriness over the hills. Patchy fog and a risk of ice, especially in

0:00:48 > 0:00:50the northern half of Scotland and wintry showers continue into the

0:00:50 > 0:00:54morning. In many parts of Scotland, it'll start dry, clear and cold. The

0:00:54 > 0:00:58risk of icy patches in Northern Ireland as a few showers continue

0:00:58 > 0:01:03into the morning. Most of the showers, across north-east England.

0:01:03 > 0:01:06This time across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, the East Midlands the

0:01:06 > 0:01:09fence and East Anglia. And snow over the higher ground. For the most part

0:01:09 > 0:01:15dry in the south-east, sunshine over Wales and the south-west. The

0:01:15 > 0:01:18showers, the Pembrokeshire dangler taking showers across Cornwall.

0:01:18 > 0:01:21Fewers showers for western areas this time. Showers continue and more

0:01:21 > 0:01:24cloud at times too in the eastern side of England in particulars cold,

0:01:24 > 0:01:28strong wind here. It'll be a cold day again on Wednesday. Those

0:01:28 > 0:01:32numbers, a little bit lower than today. And our air continues to get

0:01:32 > 0:01:36colder over the next couple of days or so. We are stuck with this high

0:01:36 > 0:01:40pressure out towards the west of the UK. Lower pressure to the east, it

0:01:40 > 0:01:43means the isobars come down from the North, where our cold air is coming

0:01:43 > 0:01:48from. So much so, that it's probably going to be more widely frosty, in

0:01:48 > 0:01:51the countryside in particular on Thursday morning. But many areas

0:01:51 > 0:01:55again having a dry, crisp sunny day. But again, the wind direction

0:01:55 > 0:01:58changing this, time to bring the showers back into Northern Ireland,

0:01:58 > 0:02:02into West Wales and the south-west of England. More showers and

0:02:02 > 0:02:05increasingly wintry showers here, down the eastern side of Scotland

0:02:05 > 0:02:10and eastern England. A cold day, those temperatures three to five

0:02:10 > 0:02:15degrees, probably the coldest day of the week. Some changes on Friday.

0:02:15 > 0:02:17Getting Atlantic winds slowly coming into Scotland and Northern Ireland.

0:02:17 > 0:02:20That means more cloud, a little rain. Brighter for England and

0:02:20 > 0:02:25Wales. Perhaps wintry showers in the cold wind, this time across the

0:02:25 > 0:02:28south-east of England but slowly through this weekend, temperatures
