0:00:05 > 0:00:10Hello. Good evening. If you haven't seen much snow yet this festive

0:00:10 > 0:00:14season that may not be the end of your Christmas story because there

0:00:14 > 0:00:18is some wintry weather to come for some during tonight. The radar shows

0:00:18 > 0:00:21wintry showers into northern Scotland and then this area of wet

0:00:21 > 0:00:25weather sliding in from the south. As you can see, the rain has been

0:00:25 > 0:00:30turning to snow across parts of mid-Wales, the Midlands and as this

0:00:30 > 0:00:34area of wet weather pivots its way through the night we will continue

0:00:34 > 0:00:39to see a mix future of rain, sleet and snow. Most of the settling snow

0:00:39 > 0:00:42will be over higher ground. Even at lower levels don't be surprised to

0:00:42 > 0:00:46see snow falling through the early hours. North and west it's all about

0:00:46 > 0:00:49frost and ice with temperatures dipping as low as minus four and

0:00:49 > 0:00:54that's in the centre of Glasgow, the centre of Edinburgh, in the

0:00:54 > 0:00:57countryside, could be even colder. Tomorrow a miserable start across

0:00:57 > 0:01:03parts of the south-east. Outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow mixed in and

0:01:03 > 0:01:06this cold northerly wind, a combination that could cause a

0:01:06 > 0:01:10little bit of disruption. But further west something brighter,

0:01:10 > 0:01:14crisp winter sunshine, still a cold wind and still a few wintry showers.

0:01:14 > 0:01:18Temperatures at best two degrees in Aberdeen, five in Plymouth, that's

0:01:18 > 0:01:23your lot for Wednesday afternoon. Into tomorrow night we will lose the

0:01:23 > 0:01:28wet weather from the south-east. Under clear skies it will turn

0:01:28 > 0:01:32frosty and potentially icy. But that sets us up for a nice looking

0:01:32 > 0:01:37winter's day on Thursday. Plenty of blue skies and sunshine. And then

0:01:37 > 0:01:42the next change into the south-west, outbreaks of rain, perhaps some snow

0:01:42 > 0:01:46over higher ground. During Friday as this frontal system slides in from

0:01:46 > 0:01:51the Atlantic many more will see outbreaks of rain. Potentially snow

0:01:51 > 0:01:56over higher ground for a time. Generally during Friday and into the

0:01:56 > 0:01:59weekend temperatures will start to climb. With that a lot
