0:00:02 > 0:00:08Here's the national outlook now.

0:00:08 > 0:00:12Good evening. Storm Eleanor is now clearing away. But there the weather

0:00:12 > 0:00:17will turn much quieter over the next few days it is still quite windy,

0:00:17 > 0:00:22particularly in the south. Here is the scene of the Sun said earlier in

0:00:22 > 0:00:28the day in Stevenage. We have some squalling showers crossing from west

0:00:28 > 0:00:33to east across England and Wales. In the north of the country are

0:00:33 > 0:00:37slow-moving band of rain and hill snow will sit across the north-east

0:00:37 > 0:00:43of England, Central and eastern Scotland. We could see a frost quite

0:00:43 > 0:00:48widely across Scotland and Northern Ireland. The odd mist and fog patch

0:00:48 > 0:00:53first thing Friday morning. Still windy in the south. The gusts will

0:00:53 > 0:00:57ease through the day. The reappearance of some sunshine in the

0:00:57 > 0:01:00south of England, perhaps towards the north-west of England and

0:01:00 > 0:01:05Ireland as well but still showers making their way from west to east

0:01:05 > 0:01:09across England and Wales, some on the heavy side. The rain lingering

0:01:09 > 0:01:13across Scotland into the north-east of England. On Friday night the wins

0:01:13 > 0:01:22will turn to a more northerly direction, importing colder air in.

0:01:22 > 0:01:24Quite a widespread frost to start the weekend. Further south is a

0:01:24 > 0:01:29little cloud, some mist and fog around. Temperatures will fall on

0:01:29 > 0:01:35Saturday into Sunday. The wins will come in from the north and the East

0:01:35 > 0:01:41as high pressure built. The cold air will bring more sunshine across

0:01:41 > 0:01:45Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland. Further south, we

0:01:45 > 0:01:52have remnants of a friend. Still outbreaks of rain and fairly cloudy.

0:01:52 > 0:01:57-- a front. Saturday night, as the skies clear, rain heads away from

0:01:57 > 0:02:02southern England. It would be the coldest night we have seen for a

0:02:02 > 0:02:08while. Temperatures down to -4, -5 as we move into the early hours of

0:02:08 > 0:02:13Sunday morning. At chilly and frosty start to Sunday. There will be

0:02:13 > 0:02:20lighter winds and more sunshine and we have seen recently. On Sunday it

0:02:20 > 0:02:25looks like a fine, fairly cold, wintry day. After the frosty start,

0:02:25 > 0:02:28the mist and fog will clear away.
