0:00:00 > 0:00:00heavy outbreaks of rain and an intern smiled the next week.

0:00:07 > 0:00:12After such a wintry week, something very different on the way for a time

0:00:12 > 0:00:15next week.Much milder, with temperatures bouncing back into

0:00:15 > 0:00:18double figures for some of us. But it has been another difficult day

0:00:18 > 0:00:22for travelling across western and southern parts of Scotland and snow

0:00:22 > 0:00:26showers in northern parts of England as well. They are slowly fading now,

0:00:26 > 0:00:30although some will still be peppering western parts of Scotland

0:00:30 > 0:00:36overnight. And where you have these, it will be turning icy. There is a

0:00:36 > 0:00:39widespread frost out there and you will notice an area of wet weather

0:00:39 > 0:00:42coming towards the south-west later in the night. This is the most

0:00:42 > 0:00:46notable weather system for Saturday. There are some uncertainty about how

0:00:46 > 0:00:50far north it will reach. It may just spread a bit further north in two

0:00:50 > 0:00:54parts of Northern Ireland with the risk of sleet and snow. But far

0:00:54 > 0:01:03fewer wintry showers in Scotland. Further south, plenty of cloud. We

0:01:03 > 0:01:10are back into this weather system. Some snow could reach parts of north

0:01:10 > 0:01:18Wales, depending how far north this gets.

0:01:18 > 0:01:21gets. But predominantly rain for many of us. It sticks around during

0:01:21 > 0:01:25the day. It is there from morning until evening for some of us and it

0:01:25 > 0:01:32will make for a dank, cold day underneath that. Some sunny spells

0:01:32 > 0:01:40in north-east England and Scotland. But foremost, it is cold day and

0:01:40 > 0:01:44frosty. Then another weather system on Sunday. This is the leading edge

0:01:44 > 0:01:49of milder air, but pushing wet weather in. That is a recipe for

0:01:49 > 0:01:54more snow and icy conditions of some of us, particularly Scotland and

0:01:54 > 0:01:58northern England for a time on Sunday. If you are travelling on

0:01:58 > 0:02:02Sunday, keep across the forecast. Here it comes - heavy rain across

0:02:02 > 0:02:07southern parts. It will ease away from Northern Ireland in the

0:02:07 > 0:02:10afternoon, but it's a messy picture on Sunday, with a big range of

0:02:10 > 0:02:15temperatures from the cold air still in place and the milder air trying

0:02:15 > 0:02:18to come in. But the mild air doesn't win out on Sunday night into Monday.

0:02:18 > 0:02:24It will feel very different for some . Temperatures will be bouncing back

0:02:24 > 0:02:26into double figures, but that does mean quite a quick
