0:00:00 > 0:00:00days, yes we will keep that chillier feel but there should be a lot of

0:00:00 > 0:00:01dry weather.

0:00:01 > 0:00:07feel but there should be a lot of dry weather.

0:00:12 > 0:00:18Good evening. First, the warmest day of the year thus far. I know it is

0:00:18 > 0:00:24only the 22nd but 15, not too bad. Going in the right direction. The

0:00:24 > 0:00:29main headline is about Storm Georgina, 80 miles per hour in the

0:00:29 > 0:00:34top end of Scotland. Got to be disruptive. There is the great mass

0:00:34 > 0:00:38of cloud already. The observations on the western side of Ireland,

0:00:38 > 0:00:42about 45 minutes ago, around 50 miles per hour and as that system

0:00:42 > 0:00:46deepens overnight and comes that little bit closer to the

0:00:46 > 0:00:49north-western quarter of the British Isles, those winds are set to

0:00:49 > 0:00:53increase such that gales will become widespread across western parts of

0:00:53 > 0:00:56the British Isles. The sort of thing that might keep you awake there.

0:00:56 > 0:01:00They will be accompanied by quite a bit of rain. Not a cold night. Too

0:01:00 > 0:01:04much cloud and breeze for there to be a widespread problem with frost.

0:01:04 > 0:01:08But if you are on the move first up on Wednesday morning, very strong

0:01:08 > 0:01:13winds and a lot of rain and surface water could be a real oar u. Our

0:01:13 > 0:01:16major concern at the wind is close to the centre but this feature in

0:01:16 > 0:01:23its own right, which many more of you will see, will be a combination

0:01:23 > 0:01:27of wet and squally winds combined. Here we are, first up, 70 to 80

0:01:27 > 0:01:32miles per hour. But towards the central belt, up to 50. Similar in

0:01:32 > 0:01:36Northern Ireland. Imagine what it will be like up and over the

0:01:36 > 0:01:41Pennines, into the Welsh hills and look at the inland values here, 40,

0:01:41 > 0:01:4550 miles per hour. Perhaps somewhere around about the coast to the south

0:01:45 > 0:01:48and west, easily up about 60 miles per hour, whilst you have that

0:01:48 > 0:01:51weather-front close by. It starts off quiet in the south-eastern

0:01:51 > 0:01:54quarter. Don't be fooled because the rain comes to you and those strong

0:01:54 > 0:01:59winds as well. But following on behind, it is not a bad day. Extra

0:01:59 > 0:02:04sunny spells and blustery showers. Winds still a factor certainly,

0:02:04 > 0:02:07certainly will be close by that centre which takes a time to get

0:02:07 > 0:02:13away. In the south, once the front is through you'll end up close to 7,

0:02:13 > 0:02:178, 9, 10. Out of Wednesday into Thursday, away goes Georgina and the

0:02:17 > 0:02:21front. A new low towards Northern Ireland. That's the focus for the

0:02:21 > 0:02:24swirl of showers, with sunny spells in between and that is Thursday's

0:02:24 > 0:02:28weather, just a fraction cooler than we were today. That's for sure.

0:02:28 > 0:02:29Friday,
