0:00:00 > 0:00:00got some rain coming on Friday night, but it will still be quite

0:00:00 > 0:00:01windy and cold.

0:00:01 > 0:00:04night, but it will still be quite windy and cold. Now I will leave you

0:00:04 > 0:00:11with the national outlook. Good evening. Eventually it was not a bad

0:00:11 > 0:00:19day. In the south you had to wait, but further north it really has been

0:00:19 > 0:00:26a better day. As I say, you had to wait in the south because it took a

0:00:26 > 0:00:30while before this weather front worked its way down across England

0:00:30 > 0:00:35and Wales. It has now moved off into the near continent and the skies are

0:00:35 > 0:00:39clear in England and Wales and as a consequence the temperatures have

0:00:39 > 0:00:45dipped away. Further north and west too much cloud and breeze around for

0:00:45 > 0:00:52there to be a widespread frost. But inland it could be quite a hard

0:00:52 > 0:00:58frost. We started the day on Tuesday with quite a widespread frost. More

0:00:58 > 0:01:03cloud in the Isles of Scilly and in the western side of Cornwall. Not

0:01:03 > 0:01:09too much in the way of breeze. A bit more cloud across the top end of the

0:01:09 > 0:01:13Pennines into Northern Ireland and southern Scotland. It will be wet

0:01:13 > 0:01:16and windy in the northern and western isles and much of western

0:01:16 > 0:01:20Scotland and that is the way it will stay for the greater part of the

0:01:20 > 0:01:26day. Elsewhere for England and Wales it is a decent morning, but as time

0:01:26 > 0:01:32goes on there will be some cloud in Wales and the South West and

0:01:32 > 0:01:35eventually there will be some murky conditions in the south and west of

0:01:35 > 0:01:40Wales. The best of the sunshine further east in the Midlands, East

0:01:40 > 0:01:44Anglia and the South East. Nowhere near as mild as it has been in

0:01:44 > 0:01:52recent days. Through Tuesday night into Wednesday there are two sets of

0:01:52 > 0:01:56France. The second one is the more active one because behind it it is

0:01:56 > 0:02:02more a windy and there is much colder air. It really will feel cold

0:02:02 > 0:02:07and it will be exacerbated by the strength of the wind. Wet and windy

0:02:07 > 0:02:13across southern parts and that moves away in lunchtime, following on

0:02:13 > 0:02:17behind is sunshine. Further north and west I would not be surprised to

0:02:17 > 0:02:24see some wintry showers. We expect to see four or 5 degrees across

0:02:24 > 0:02:29northern parts. Thursday it will be blustery on the eastern side
