0:00:00 > 0:00:00temperatures adjust. A little sweet and hail as well. Here is the
0:00:00 > 0:00:00outlook and
0:00:01 > 0:00:03and hail as well. Here is the outlook and my colleague Nick will
0:00:03 > 0:00:08have a more thorough UK picture for you in a couple of seconds. Bye-bye.
0:00:08 > 0:00:12If you have been marvelling at the super blue moon this evening and
0:00:12 > 0:00:16lucky enough to have blue skies, not everyone is fortunate. Very wet in
0:00:16 > 0:00:19north-west England. As we look at the rain and snow radar over the
0:00:19 > 0:00:23last few hours, some snow is showing up with this weather system
0:00:23 > 0:00:26continuing to push by the south-east through parts of England and Wales
0:00:26 > 0:00:33overnight. A bit of wet snow briefly to lower levels. The problem as it
0:00:33 > 0:00:37goes away and temperatures dip will be ice. Just about anywhere going
0:00:37 > 0:00:43into the morning, do be aware it could be ice in places. It would be
0:00:43 > 0:00:48colder if it wasn't for the strength of wind, getting stronger in
0:00:48 > 0:00:51Scotland, at least coastal gales tomorrow and sleet and snow pushing
0:00:51 > 0:00:54into North Scotland. On the coast there could be some rain and
0:00:54 > 0:00:58elsewhere getting some showers, in Northern Ireland, Wales, perhaps the
0:00:58 > 0:01:01West Midlands and south-west England. A lot of the showers here
0:01:01 > 0:01:06will be rain, sleet and perhaps hail but venture into higher ground and
0:01:06 > 0:01:09you will see sleet and snow. Showers in the Southee should begin to fade.
0:01:09 > 0:01:13For many, away from the areas identified as being prone to showers
0:01:13 > 0:01:18and there will be a lot of fine and dry weather with sparkling crisp
0:01:18 > 0:01:22sunshine to come. Notice the wind arrows indicating a northerly
0:01:22 > 0:01:26component will win tomorrow. That will still be a cold day and feel
0:01:26 > 0:01:30even colder when you factor in the wind, for some close to or below
0:01:30 > 0:01:34freezing. It stays breezy Thursday night and a few wintry showers
0:01:34 > 0:01:39around, particularly running into northern Scotland. Again a risk of
0:01:39 > 0:01:43ice going into Friday morning. On Friday morning, blustery showers on
0:01:43 > 0:01:49the North Sea coast, mostly brain. Elsewhere, the wind easing a lot. A
0:01:49 > 0:01:52dry and sunny day, a fine winter's day for many of us on Friday and
0:01:52 > 0:01:58feeling a little less cold. Then we get to the weekend and there are
0:01:58 > 0:02:01convocations, of course! A weather system from the Atlantic with
0:02:01 > 0:02:05moisture into colder, a lot of uncertainty about how far east this
0:02:05 > 0:02:08will get before grounding to a halt, delivering cold rain for many of us
0:02:08 > 0:02:12and perhaps an sleet and snow, particular in parts of Scotland and
0:02:12 > 0:02:16northern England. We will keep you updated. I suspect when it gets to
0:02:16 > 0:02:21Saturday won't look exactly like this. Any brain, sleet and snow
0:02:21 > 0:02:27blowing out on Sunday. It looks like the cold air and a risk of snow will
0:02:27 > 0:02:30stay with us through much if not all of next week.
