0:00:01 > 0:00:02skies and this is the outlook for the weekend. Some sunshine on its

0:00:02 > 0:00:09way and milder weather, and rich as more details for you. Good evening.

0:00:09 > 0:00:14Snow can be beautiful and it can also be destructive. We tipped the

0:00:14 > 0:00:16beautiful box today certainly with this weather watcher in Northern

0:00:16 > 0:00:20Ireland, a beautiful scene close to Belfast. But there could be

0:00:20 > 0:00:24disruption on the way as well because we have more snow to come,

0:00:24 > 0:00:27this strip of cloud shows up nicely on the recent satellite picture and

0:00:27 > 0:00:32if you look at the radar picture it shows that not only rain is falling

0:00:32 > 0:00:35from the cloud, we are starting to see snow once again across Northern

0:00:35 > 0:00:39Ireland and also across parts of Scotland. Ahead of that band of rain

0:00:39 > 0:00:44and snow we have strong and gusty winds, wind gusts of up to 60,

0:00:44 > 0:00:47possibly 70 mph in exposed spots in the south-west, mostly rain falling

0:00:47 > 0:00:52in the south but snow over high ground. Even at low levels in North

0:00:52 > 0:00:57areas we could see significant accumulations of snow. Let's look

0:00:57 > 0:01:00closely at tomorrow morning's rush hour, across Scotland's snow still

0:01:00 > 0:01:04falling in many areas, up to ten centimetres over high ground, a few

0:01:04 > 0:01:07centimetres in the central belt could cause disruption, the snow

0:01:07 > 0:01:10pulling away from Northern Ireland but not before a further ten

0:01:10 > 0:01:14centimetres in places. Some snow in northern England, northern England

0:01:14 > 0:01:17and Wales, further south a mixture of wind and rain forced whichever

0:01:17 > 0:01:21way you slice it could be travel disruption tomorrow morning. BBC

0:01:21 > 0:01:27local radio will keep you up-to-date. Will take the band of

0:01:27 > 0:01:31mostly rain in the south and largely snow in the north and push it

0:01:31 > 0:01:32eastwards through the day. Behind the skies will brighten and we will

0:01:32 > 0:01:36see good spells of sunshine, but wintry showers putting in to the

0:01:36 > 0:01:42north-west on what will be a cold feeling day, 7 degrees at best.

0:01:42 > 0:01:45Moving out of Tuesday into Wednesday we say farewell to the warm weather

0:01:45 > 0:01:48system but hello to another one and this will make Wednesday something

0:01:48 > 0:01:52of a repeat performance. The isobars, strong and gusty winds,

0:01:52 > 0:01:57rain turning into snow, especially of a high ground in the north. But

0:01:57 > 0:02:01what of the snow will turn back into rain through the day because we will

0:02:01 > 0:02:04bring in some slightly milder air at this stage, looking at temperatures

0:02:04 > 0:02:09by the end of Wednesday, nine or 10 degrees in Belfast, Cardiff and in

0:02:09 > 0:02:13Plymouth. For the end of the week low pressure is the engine room of

0:02:13 > 0:02:16our weather, spinning up to the north-west, still throwing in wintry

0:02:16 > 0:02:20showers in northern areas but noticed something a little drier

0:02:20 > 0:02:24shelling its hand in the south. With that something milder. Heading into

0:02:24 > 0:02:28the weekend more of more of us from south to north water and dry and bit
