0:00:02 > 0:00:03Sunday. The outlook shows temperatures on the rise, getting

0:00:03 > 0:00:08into double figures with southerly winds arriving. Good evening. We

0:00:08 > 0:00:15have made it to the end of the week. What a week of whether it has been.

0:00:15 > 0:00:20Significant disruption over large parts of the UK. We have seen huge

0:00:20 > 0:00:25amounts of snow. Near Cardiff X to centimetres of snow on the ground

0:00:25 > 0:00:29right now with plenty of other places not too far behind. The

0:00:29 > 0:00:34weekend marks the beginning of a change. Things starting to turn

0:00:34 > 0:00:41slowly left cold. Today has brought some fresh snowfall. This band of

0:00:41 > 0:00:45snow has pushed across the south and is working across the Midlands and

0:00:45 > 0:00:48into Northern Ireland. That is tending to weaken and Brazil as it

0:00:48 > 0:00:55drifts that the North during the rest of tonight. -- and drizzle.

0:00:55 > 0:01:00Down to the south-west this will mostly be falling as rain, I

0:01:00 > 0:01:04suspect, but that could bring its own issues with ice. Mist and fog

0:01:04 > 0:01:08patches as well with temperatures dipping below freezing for that

0:01:08 > 0:01:12there is a subtle change in the weather set to take us into the

0:01:12 > 0:01:16weekend. No pressure to the south-west will be driving things.

0:01:16 > 0:01:23Throughout the weekend we have had strong easterly wind. Instead we are

0:01:23 > 0:01:27bringing more of a southerly flow across the British Isles will start

0:01:27 > 0:01:33to tap into slightly less cold air. Still some snow drifting across

0:01:33 > 0:01:36England, Northern Ireland and into southern Scotland during the day.

0:01:36 > 0:01:41Snow showers in the North East. Mostly rain pushing in the South

0:01:41 > 0:01:46West with rain over the high ground of Wales. This will mostly be rain

0:01:46 > 0:01:51because of the rise in temperatures. Elsewhere, many spots having another

0:01:51 > 0:01:56chilly day. The heavy bursts of rain will drift north tomorrow night.

0:01:56 > 0:02:01Still snow on the higher grounds of Wales and the North Midlands and the

0:02:01 > 0:02:08Pennines and Peak districts. Still some snow showers in the far

0:02:08 > 0:02:12north-east and it looks like we will see some heavy rain drifting up from

0:02:12 > 0:02:19the south. Look at these temperatures! Eight, nine in the

0:02:19 > 0:02:21south, even further north feeling that bit less cold was looking

0:02:21 > 0:02:26further ahead into the start of next week, double digit temperatures in

0:02:26 > 0:02:28the south and even
