0:00:00 > 0:00:00at the weekend. Things will get cold we are a cold easterly wind

0:00:00 > 0:00:00returning.

0:00:01 > 0:00:06we are a cold easterly wind returning.

0:00:06 > 0:00:10Hello there, some big changes on the way this week specially towards the

0:00:10 > 0:00:15end of the week. Today we had some sunshine. Some showers. Took a while

0:00:15 > 0:00:20to clear from the south-east of England. But we had a lovely end to

0:00:20 > 0:00:25the day at Newquay in Cornwall. But it is here in western areas that the

0:00:25 > 0:00:28weather is starting to change now. Through the night the winds will

0:00:28 > 0:00:32continue to strengthen and blow in more cloud and we will see some rain

0:00:32 > 0:00:37arriving in Northern Ireland, and perhaps the extreme south-west.

0:00:37 > 0:00:42Further east, we will have clearer skies and lighter winds. Colder with

0:00:42 > 0:00:45a touch of frost in Scotland and some northern and eastern parts of

0:00:45 > 0:00:49England. The big picture for Wednesday is this, dominated by a

0:00:49 > 0:00:54large area of low pressure rotating to the west of the UK, but throwing

0:00:54 > 0:01:00ahead bands of cloud and rain. Ahead of that, we draw up a strengthen

0:01:00 > 0:01:07wind from Spain and will draw in milder air as well. But a change for

0:01:07 > 0:01:12Wednesday, this time the wetter, windy weather in the wests, in the

0:01:12 > 0:01:17east it is likely to be dry and there will be some sunshine. But we

0:01:17 > 0:01:23have the strongest winds in the west, strong to gale force in the

0:01:23 > 0:01:26south-west and turning wetter in the south-west in the afternoon. Some

0:01:26 > 0:01:30rain pushing into Wales too. Windy through the Irish Sea, rain and

0:01:30 > 0:01:38could be heavy in Northern Ireland and just glancing western Scotland.

0:01:38 > 0:01:42Remaining parts of Scotland dry with some sunshine. That goes for the

0:01:42 > 0:01:48Midlands and the eastern side of England. Sunnier skies in the

0:01:48 > 0:01:52south-east and up to 15 degrees. On Thursday the rain's moved, still not

0:01:52 > 0:01:56far from Northern Ireland. But moving more quickly, north and

0:01:56 > 0:01:58eastwards across England and Wales. To the south we will get some

0:01:58 > 0:02:04sunshine. That could trigger some showers. Some could be heavy.

0:02:04 > 0:02:08Temperatures 12 degree in the South West. North of the rain it is

0:02:08 > 0:02:12chillier in Scotland. That rain as we head into Friday, starts to turn

0:02:12 > 0:02:16to sleet and snow in Scotland and north-east England. To the south

0:02:16 > 0:02:20still a number of showers. Everything getting blocked off by a

0:02:20 > 0:02:25big area of high pressure across Scandinavia and that means just in

0:02:25 > 0:02:29time for the weekend an easterly wind - cold and strong
