:01:03. > :01:08.The draft food security strategy was created in December 2012
:01:09. > :01:15.The Environment Minister now says it already needs updating,
:01:16. > :01:21.This community garden at Le Marais has been up and running
:01:22. > :01:29.The fruit and veg that's grown here is given to local residents
:01:30. > :01:32.Back in 2012, a draft food security strategy recommended
:01:33. > :01:34.that the environment department develop plans for more community
:01:35. > :01:40.But it's founder Nigel James doesn't think that's happened
:01:41. > :01:43.and says the island has become less self-sufficient.
:01:44. > :01:50.Since 2012 - we've pretty much lost our on island
:01:51. > :01:56.organic growing community - they've collapsed due to various
:01:57. > :01:59.reasons and this has meant that even since they started writing this -
:02:00. > :02:00.we've become much more dependent on importated
:02:01. > :02:07.The draft food security strategy was created in December 2012.
:02:08. > :02:10.It made 13 different recommendations.
:02:11. > :02:17.Such as establishing a Food Security Board.
:02:18. > :02:19.Five years on and that board has never been created.
:02:20. > :02:22.The Co-op has also closed the last remaining warehouse that stocked
:02:23. > :02:28.they have been addressing the key issues in the report.
:02:29. > :02:31.What we have done is that we have looked at the Condor situation,
:02:32. > :02:36.we have looked at the freight situation, we have looked at
:02:37. > :02:39.the situation with local produce - more recently we've invested
:02:40. > :02:41.government money into a local packhouse that allows local produce
:02:42. > :02:49.Deputy Luce says the 2012 report will now be updated and he's hopeful
:02:50. > :02:52.that it will be officially adopted in the near future.

:10:31. > :10:38.around, especially on Sunday. At the moment, we have an area of high

:10:41. > :10:43.lunchtime, of the Mr Fogg appearing again. The general trend is to see

:13:25. > :13:27.this new safe place to play will mean the world to Curtis and his
:13:28. > :13:34.family. It will give them a better quality
:13:35. > :13:41.of life. We are very housebound so we can get outside more. He has got
:13:42. > :13:47.a perfect space made for him. His life will be short and we have got
:13:48. > :13:55.to make the most of it and having this will allow us to do that.
