:06:23. > :06:25.But can they continue to market the delights of each other if one
:06:26. > :06:30.Let's continue to work well together.
:06:31. > :06:33.We're already in a sense framing that in the actions

:07:07. > :07:08.from Germany and exploring other opportunities, as has been indicated
:07:09. > :07:11.from Scandinavia and elsewhere, because they are absolutely critical
:07:12. > :07:23.Jersey and Guernsey will still continue to compete for UK tourism,

:09:03. > :09:17.We are sitting in the Chambers. He made a very difficult decision. He
:09:18. > :09:24.was not responsible just under zone. Sitting here, I do not think you can
:09:25. > :09:27.just judge the rights and wrongs of what he did. It is easy to look at
:09:28. > :09:29.it in retrospect. 75 years on, there will be no
:09:30. > :09:32.official event to mark the deportation of these three
:09:33. > :09:37.Jewish women here at the White Rock. But there are hopes that efforts
:09:38. > :09:40.in the classroom to educate the next generation will help islanders
:09:41. > :09:42.understand what happened and the complexities around this
:09:43. > :09:49.dark historical episode. And if you would like to hear
:09:50. > :09:51.more about the story of those three women,
:09:52. > :09:54.there is a link to a longer documentary on our
:09:55. > :09:56.Facebook Page @ BBC CI. The weekend has come
:09:57. > :09:58.round so quick this week, but will we be enjoying this
:09:59. > :10:10.gorgeous weather this weekend? We have been blessed with some
:10:11. > :10:19.lovely weather this week. That will not change for the weekend. But
:10:20. > :10:25.there will be a change next week. A band of cloud coming down from the
:10:26. > :10:33.north. That may cover us tomorrow. Not as much sunshine tomorrow is
:10:34. > :10:39.today. But on Monday, a very cold front coming down from the Arctic
:10:40. > :10:47.Circle. It will also produce some showers and some much lower
:10:48. > :10:59.temperatures. These will come down quite dramatically at times next
:11:00. > :11:03.week. Temperatures dropping down into single figures overnight
:11:04. > :11:14.tonight. Tomorrow is not bad. A rather chilly start. Sunshine in
:11:15. > :11:23.between the cloud, with high temperatures of 15 Celsius. Here are
:11:24. > :11:27.the high water times. As we have seen much of the week, not much to
:11:28. > :11:38.look forward to with regard to the surfing conditions. Sunday is great
:11:39. > :11:49.and drive. On Tuesday, a significant drop in the temperature. Also the
:11:50. > :11:53.chance to see some showers. Some of these could be quite sharp. Have a

:12:11. > :12:13.Until then, from me and the rest of the Channel Islands team,
:12:14. > :12:19.have a very good night. There are as many reasons
:12:20. > :12:23.for running the marathon We have been to meet three people
:12:24. > :12:28.from the region who will be tackling We wanted to find out
:12:29. > :12:31.why they are running, And what they will have
:12:32. > :12:35.on their headphones to help them I did it for a charity
:12:36. > :12:43.that is close to my heart. My daughter got diagnosed
:12:44. > :12:47.with type one diabetes. We got told that if we took her in,
:12:48. > :12:51.24 hours later, they wouldn't have I am running in memory of my parents
:12:52. > :13:06.for a disability charity. Because when I was little,
:13:07. > :13:11.my parents and I used I am running in aid
:13:12. > :13:27.of the Cornwall air ambulance. I can't basically go and do some
:13:28. > :13:41.crazy stuff that other people do to raise money,
:13:42. > :13:43.so for me the easiest way Given its geography and it has got
:13:44. > :14:00.just one main hospital, getting to hospital in a quick time
:14:01. > :14:03.is essential in an emergency. The ambulance is essential
:14:04. > :14:05.for people living, working My parents are no longer with me
:14:06. > :14:12.and they would be incredibly surprised and incredibly proud,
:14:13. > :14:14.not only that I am running a marathon, but also that I am
:14:15. > :14:17.choosing to run for the charity. My favourite song is
:14:18. > :14:21.The Eye Of The Tiger. It is a case of mind over matter
:14:22. > :14:25.and all of those messages of good wishes and all those personal
:14:26. > :14:27.struggles are there Especially the crowd
:14:28. > :14:31.in London who are fantastic. I'm going to get a lot of stick
:14:32. > :14:35.of my mates for this, I don't know why that is so good
:14:36. > :14:48.to run to, but it is. Everybody Needs Love And Affection,
:14:49. > :15:06.everybody has to need friends. # The things that
:15:07. > :15:09.dreams are made of #. And that is kind of
:15:10. > :15:11.what it is, really. That is kind of running
:15:12. > :15:15.the London Marathon. Good luck to them and everybody
:15:16. > :15:19.running the marathon this weekend. Time for the sport
:15:20. > :15:21.now and Andy's here. It's not just the charity runners
:15:22. > :15:24.we'll be looking out for on Sunday. No, we'll also be keeping a close
:15:25. > :15:28.eye on the elite race as Jo Pavey tries to qualify for this summer's
:15:29. > :15:30.World Championships in London. The 43-year-old needs to finish
:15:31. > :15:33.as one of the top two British women Devon boxer Tommy Langford
:15:34. > :15:44.could realise a childhood dream tomorrow night when he fights
:15:45. > :15:46.for the WBO interim The British middleweight champion
:15:47. > :15:54.is putting his unbeaten record on the line against a Georgian
:15:55. > :15:59.nicknamed the mini-Mike Tyson. The boy from Bideford moved
:16:00. > :16:01.to Birmingham nearly a decade ago to pursue a boxing career and that's
:16:02. > :16:04.where we caught up with him. I have never ducked
:16:05. > :16:10.a fight in my life. We are fighting somebody who nobody
:16:11. > :16:15.else wanted to fight. That is not me saying it,
:16:16. > :16:20.or Tom, it is out there. The WBO, he has been the number one
:16:21. > :16:24.for I don't know how long. Yes, he's a horrible opponent,
:16:25. > :16:26.he's tough, he's very strong. He's highly avoided
:16:27. > :16:31.by all the top operators. But ultimately, beating him puts me
:16:32. > :16:35.on a platform of those operators and gives me the chance
:16:36. > :16:40.to fight the elite. Tom's getting a lot of praise,
:16:41. > :16:43.a lot of publicity, a lot of fans,. For something that he has been doing
:16:44. > :16:49.for years and years and years. Privately, in dark gyms, cold rooms,
:16:50. > :16:53.so the reward is now as such. It has been going a long
:16:54. > :17:01.time and he is ready. We have got a lot of following from
:17:02. > :17:04.North Devon and people travel all the way up and it is a bit
:17:05. > :17:07.of a jaunt for this one, but they are still coming
:17:08. > :17:09.and in the numbers. They have not got a boxer
:17:10. > :17:15.from down there ready, They all show a huge amount
:17:16. > :17:23.of support and when I get to go and celebrate with them,
:17:24. > :17:25.that is always good, as well. He had a dream as a child,
:17:26. > :17:38.a young kid, and note to Devon, the opportunities
:17:39. > :17:42.in Birmingham, the Midlands, He has got a selfish streak in him
:17:43. > :17:47.to get where he wants to get to. That move so early in his
:17:48. > :17:50.career has put him here. There is no point does working away
:17:51. > :17:53.at the rankings and getting to the top and then when you get
:17:54. > :17:56.to the top, not wanting I have got this chance
:17:57. > :18:00.and I will grab it with both hands It is what I want and
:18:01. > :18:04.what my career needs. With the pressure now off
:18:05. > :18:07.after their promotion was confirmed on Monday,
:18:08. > :18:09.Plymouth Argyle have their sights set on winning
:18:10. > :18:10.the League Two title. For Exeter City though,
:18:11. > :18:12.the aim is Wembley. A win against Morecambe
:18:13. > :18:14.tomorrow will do their promotion hopes no harm -
:18:15. > :18:17.as it stands there are still at least ten clubs in with a chance
:18:18. > :18:20.of making the play-offs. There are only two games left
:18:21. > :18:23.for Torquay to beat the drop As long as they avoid defeat
:18:24. > :18:26.at Dover they can't be relegated this weekend -
:18:27. > :18:29.a win could lift them You can follow all the drama
:18:30. > :18:33.as it unfolds on the BBC It's a winner takes all match
:18:34. > :18:36.for Plymouth Albion Ladies tomorrow as they chase promotion
:18:37. > :18:39.to the second tier of women's rugby, Albion go into the game with their
:18:40. > :18:48.opponents just two points behind. Really confident,
:18:49. > :18:50.however you can never I do think it is going to be close
:18:51. > :19:01.on the day and playing at the Wreck, some people might be nervous
:19:02. > :19:03.we haven't played in Bath might have a lot
:19:04. > :19:06.of supporters there, so that might have an affect
:19:07. > :19:09.on our team, but I'm ready confident Somerset have made a great start
:19:10. > :19:13.to their County Championship match against Lancashire
:19:14. > :19:15.at Old Trafford today. The bowlers did their job skittling
:19:16. > :19:18.the home side for just 109 with Craig Overton the pick
:19:19. > :19:20.of the bowlers taking five wickets. In reply Somerset were 93-4
:19:21. > :19:27.at the close of play on Day One. From the very best Michelin-starred
:19:28. > :19:29.chefs to international food celebrities, the creme de la creme
