:01:24. > :01:31.common. The police are looking for a man who is six foot four, a slim fit
:01:32. > :01:35.build, wearing a black leather jacket and a silver or grey body.
:01:36. > :01:40.The security chief cameras were working but they stopped recording
:01:41. > :01:46.literally minutes before it happened so the police really want to hear
:01:47. > :01:49.from anyone who was here between seven and half past seven last night
:01:50. > :01:55.or who was here yesterday because this man was seen several times.
:01:56. > :02:01.Bruno Alvarez has told me he is worried about security, his personal
:02:02. > :02:07.safety and his wife who works here long hours alone. He told me he is
:02:08. > :02:10.still shaken, and nearly 24 hours after his ordeal.
:02:11. > :02:11.Parents and businesses in Jersey are being consulted
:02:12. > :02:13.about their views on extending statutory maternity
:02:14. > :02:17.The States could use the outcome to change the current laws -
:02:18. > :02:19.which are often criticised for falling far behind

:02:52. > :02:54.It's less generous than in the UK, so do parents
:02:55. > :03:03.We should have longer maternity leave.
:03:04. > :03:07.It is nice to bond with your children.
:03:08. > :03:10.And for dads, as well, to have that bit of time to spend
:03:11. > :03:14.with their children and help out with setting a routine
:03:15. > :03:19.I see lots of people struggling with babies when they are only
:03:20. > :03:23.three or four months, it is really sad to see.
:03:24. > :03:27.And some people have to get back to work.
:03:28. > :03:33.Now all islanders are being asked for their views
:03:34. > :03:37.It's being run by the Employment Forum, an independent group
:03:38. > :03:40.who wants to hear from both sides of the fence.

:03:47. > :03:51.time with their babies when they're born, but also with businesses
:03:52. > :03:56.who have businesses to run and the cost of having people out

:04:15. > :04:18.For the first time, it's been confirmed that the body recovered
:04:19. > :04:21.at Pleinmont by Guernsey Police on Christmas Eve is that of missing
:04:22. > :04:27.Mr Corbet was last seen getting off a bus at Pleinmont in June.
:04:28. > :04:31.The court heard that a group of young children found
:04:32. > :04:35.what was later confirmed to be Mr Corbet's body.
:04:36. > :04:39.This afternoon, a coroner declared the cause of the 59-year-old's death

:04:45. > :04:47.recovery after being rescued from a Jersey beach.
:04:48. > :04:52.Sammy, as she's been named, was flown to Guernsey for specialist
:04:53. > :04:55.treatment and now a few weeks on, although she's still underweight,
:04:56. > :05:07.Mike Wilkins has discovered that she's getting her appetite back.
:05:08. > :05:10.Just four weeks old, still severely underweight
:05:11. > :05:13.and fighting for its life, this seal pup's been named Sammy.
:05:14. > :05:16.She was rescued from Bonne Nuit Bay in Jersey a couple of weeks ago.
:05:17. > :05:18.She was flown to Guernsey for specialist treatment.
:05:19. > :05:21.And the good news is she's making encouraging progress and,
:05:22. > :05:24.as you can see, has started eating whole fish!
:05:25. > :05:27.The GSPCA says it's thrilled, especially after such
:05:28. > :05:32.an upsetting end to the year, when they lost two pups.
:05:33. > :05:35.Hopefully, all being well and good we will get her back into the waters
:05:36. > :05:40.We love to see local animal staying in local waters.
