:01:05. > :01:11.It's been almost two years since this police raid on a surgery
:01:12. > :01:16.in Alderney stunned people in the Channel Islands.
:01:17. > :01:18.Dr Rory Lyons was suspended while investigations were underway.
:01:19. > :01:20.But all cases against him were later dropped.
:01:21. > :01:22.But according to this latest independent review,
:01:23. > :01:24.the effects are still having a "significant negative impact"
:01:25. > :01:31.Among the report's 38 recommendations, one of them
:01:32. > :01:34.is that there should be a formal apology to Dr Lyons.
:01:35. > :01:38.It says there should be chemotherapy treatment available on island,
:01:39. > :01:41.it also says there should be greater use of video conferencing
:01:42. > :01:44.which could halve the number of trips to Guernsey for treatment
:01:45. > :01:47.and another recommendation says that making seat belts compulsory
:01:48. > :01:53.The President of the Committee for Health and Social Care
:01:54. > :02:03.HSC totally accept the findings of this report at the time, which said
:02:04. > :02:06.that there were, in terms of the investigation, it was rushed,
:02:07. > :02:12.We apologise for the impact that had on
:02:13. > :02:17.The report's been welcomed by one of Alderney's senior politicians.

:07:53. > :08:02.Drawing and colouring is very therapeutic for them as well. They
:08:03. > :08:09.include puzzles, crosswords, dominoes and Queens Park which
:08:10. > :08:14.provided to clients on the ward. There is a lovely puzzle which is
:08:15. > :08:21.wiped clean puzzle which our clients really seem to enjoy.
:08:22. > :08:23.There are around 1400 people living with dementia in Jersey.
:08:24. > :08:34.But it's thought less than half of those
:08:35. > :08:38.Numbers are also likely to double in the next 25 years.

:08:41. > :08:42.visiting times more flexible and Chantal says they want
:08:43. > :08:45.to improve signage on the ward so they show pictures
:08:46. > :08:49.orthopaedics, it's that our patients orthopaedics, it's that our patients
:08:50. > :08:51.have dementia and other needs. By putting these things in place, it
:08:52. > :08:52.will make a difference to all patients, it will be better for
