:00:07. > :00:13.Tonight, panic at 35,000 feet. A Ryanair pilot takes emergency

:00:13. > :00:16.action after a sudden loss of cabin pressure. "Mayday, Ryanair! Mayday,

:00:16. > :00:23.Mayday!", and he was saying it rapidly as we were going down. I

:00:23. > :00:32.thought my number was up. Also tonight, retail park by day,

:00:32. > :00:38.race track by night. Now the police get tough.

:00:38. > :00:48.And the pressure's on for some, as the hosepipe ban kicks in.

:00:48. > :00:56.

:00:56. > :00:59.And what will the Time Team dig up Good evening. First tonight, a

:00:59. > :01:01.couple say they're grateful to be alive after their Ryanair flight to

:01:01. > :01:05.the East Midlands suddenly lost cabin pressure over the Alps and

:01:06. > :01:10.headed downwards. Jacqueline and Melvin Frater were on their way

:01:10. > :01:15.home from a surprise break in northern Italy. Their plane made an

:01:15. > :01:19.emergency landing in Germany. The German authorities say 13 people

:01:19. > :01:22.were injured in the incident, three of them seriously. The Fraters say

:01:22. > :01:32.they're concerned because this is the second incident of this kind on

:01:32. > :01:33.

:01:33. > :01:36.a Ryanair flight in two months, as James Roberson reports. A safely

:01:36. > :01:39.home at Bakers Field in Nottingham, Jacqueline and Melvin Frater

:01:39. > :01:43.reviewed the holiday that should have been a treat.

:01:43. > :01:48.Jackie had surprised Melvin with a short break in northern Italy, but

:01:48. > :01:51.their flight home tending to fear. You could see the whites of the

:01:51. > :02:00.eyes of the people next to you. People weren't panicking but they

:02:00. > :02:06.were not screaming or shouting. minutes into the journey the plane

:02:06. > :02:14.had reached 5,000 feet. Just north of Nagano, is suddenly lost cabin

:02:14. > :02:19.pressure. Boxed remarks -- oxygen masks were released. The plane

:02:19. > :02:25.rapidly descended, at four miles every few merits. The crew turned

:02:25. > :02:29.north and headed for Frankfurt airport in Germany. We overheard

:02:29. > :02:34.the captain saying, Mayday, Mayday! And he was saying it rapidly as we

:02:34. > :02:38.were going down. I thought my number.. I don't know how long we

:02:38. > :02:44.were actually falling. You could tell it was rapidly because of the

:02:44. > :02:49.pressure in your ears. Then the children and babies started crying.

:02:49. > :02:57.It did level out. After several hours, Ryanair flu the passengers

:02:57. > :03:01.home to East Midlands on another plane. -- Ryanair flew. 13

:03:01. > :03:07.passengers were injured in the incident, three seriously. An

:03:07. > :03:12.investigation has started. The Fraters has stop -- are concerned

:03:12. > :03:15.because another aeroplane suffered a similar decompression in February.

:03:15. > :03:20.Apparently, it had happened to other planes of that make but I

:03:20. > :03:24.would like to know exactly what caused it. In a statement tonight,

:03:24. > :03:29.Ryanair said that the captain identified a pressurise social

:03:29. > :03:33.morning and deployed oxygen masks and went down as recommended.

:03:34. > :03:39.Passengers disembarked as normally to be provided with refreshments.

:03:39. > :03:45.The company also apologised to pressures affected by this

:03:45. > :03:47.experience and by the delay. Next tonight, it's here. After

:03:47. > :03:51.months of drought warnings, a hosepipe ban officially began in

:03:51. > :03:56.parts of our region today. Anglian Water is asking people to conserve

:03:56. > :03:59.as much water as they can. But what about the millions of litres they

:03:59. > :04:05.lose through leakage? Simon Ward is at Rutland Water. What's the

:04:05. > :04:09.situation like there this evening, Simon? Anglian Water say it has

:04:09. > :04:14.been the driest 18 months for a century and that is despite the

:04:14. > :04:19.rain we have had in the past couple of days. It has not been enough to

:04:19. > :04:25.prevent the hosepipe ban coming into force. Normally here, we would

:04:25. > :04:32.be knee-deep in water. You can probably see the fishermen behind

:04:33. > :04:38.me. Earlier today, I was out with a leak prevention team to find out

:04:38. > :04:43.how they carry out their work. Listening for leaks. Here in this

:04:43. > :04:47.village, 80 my using traditional and modern techniques. This metal

:04:47. > :04:53.rod is used to listen for water seeping out of underground pipes.

:04:53. > :04:58.At electronic devices are also used to pinpoint leaks. This calculates

:04:58. > :05:07.the time it takes for the League sound to which either sensor and

:05:07. > :05:13.convert that into a distance. -- to reach. Last month, the detection

:05:13. > :05:18.target was Mr, meaning of the loss of 2 million litres each day.

:05:18. > :05:22.have doubled our investment and another 60 people are out on the

:05:22. > :05:30.ground looking for leaks and finding them. But we need a lot

:05:30. > :05:36.customers to help us, so if they spot a leak, we will be out to be

:05:36. > :05:42.sorted out. We frequently go to Rutland Water for sailing. For many

:05:42. > :05:46.people, it is really good. So we are not surprised it has come a

:05:46. > :05:52.long and we are quite ready. don't think it is right. A lot of

:05:52. > :05:55.water is wasted. We don't have baths, we have showers. And I think

:05:56. > :06:01.if people consider how they are using their water, it would make a

:06:01. > :06:05.great deal of difference. James Williams is a keen gardener. He

:06:05. > :06:10.uses rainwater to top up the pond and more to his plants. I think the

:06:10. > :06:15.key issue is adapting how you use water. Being more specific with

:06:15. > :06:19.using it in a spot bases rather than spring it everywhere.

:06:19. > :06:23.Hosepipes are useful. Let's not beat around the bush! But they are

:06:23. > :06:28.not necessary. While efforts are being made to save water, the

:06:28. > :06:33.length of the hosepipe ban will be down to nature in the end.

:06:33. > :06:37.Rutland Water is a source of water for Anglian customers, in Stamford

:06:37. > :06:41.and the surrounding areas, and Anglian Water said to us today the

:06:41. > :06:46.ban is expected to last through the summer, possibly for the rest of

:06:46. > :06:52.the year. That is the bad news. It would take about two months of

:06:52. > :06:55.persistent rain to have sorted out. Other customers served by Severn

:06:55. > :06:59.Trent Water will be happy to know that Severn Trent Water have said

:06:59. > :07:02.they have no plans to bring in a ban this summer.

:07:02. > :07:05.You're watching East Midlands Today. Still to come, the big Easter

:07:05. > :07:11.getaway begins but the airport says passengers won't be held up by

:07:11. > :07:17.border checks. Getting tough on so-called drifters

:07:17. > :07:19.- gangs of youths who race cars at night. It's happening in the

:07:19. > :07:23.Colwick area of Nottingham and police say it's putting lives at

:07:23. > :07:27.risk. Today a sign has gone up warning the drivers that if they

:07:27. > :07:37.carry on, they could be speeding their way to a prison sentence, as

:07:37. > :07:42.

:07:42. > :07:47.Jo Healey reports. It is incredibly noisy...

:07:47. > :07:54.residents, for us at the back, it is a horrific problems. For them,

:07:54. > :08:01.it is a thrill. But many fear it could kill. And they say it is a

:08:02. > :08:09.nuisance. It disturbs us a great deal and the sleep of the children.

:08:09. > :08:13.Every night, it is relentless. is what this is about. There is now

:08:13. > :08:17.a court injunction in place and penalties for so-called drifters

:08:17. > :08:21.will be much tougher. It means we can take positive action against

:08:21. > :08:27.the real anti-social behaviour taking place. The ultimate outcome

:08:28. > :08:32.being, if you have reached the injunction, you can go to prison.

:08:32. > :08:37.And that threat is what this warning letter is all about. From

:08:37. > :08:42.this weekend, it will be handed out to the so-called drifters. If they

:08:42. > :08:52.speed and raise their cars, if they create excessive noise, they could

:08:52. > :08:53.

:08:53. > :09:03.be guilty of contempt of court. Dash Olympic Park Run -- race. They

:09:03. > :09:04.

:09:04. > :09:08.often come out on a Sunday night. We have put in CCTV cameras so we

:09:08. > :09:12.are doing everything possible to try to disperse this. They are

:09:12. > :09:16.concerned it will simply shift the Drifters to another area, so now

:09:16. > :09:19.they are calling for a county-wide injunction.

:09:19. > :09:23.Police have released an image of a man they want to trace in

:09:23. > :09:25.connection with an armed robbery. It happened at a shop on

:09:26. > :09:29.Loughborough Road in Leicester yesterday evening. A man threatened

:09:29. > :09:35.a member of staff with a firearm and demanded money. He left empty-

:09:35. > :09:38.handed. The man was wearing grey overalls with a hood and sunglasses.

:09:38. > :09:41.A man's been charged following an attempted armed robbery at a post

:09:41. > :09:44.office in Leicestershire. The postmaster was approached in

:09:44. > :09:48.Nottingham in February before being driven to his post office in

:09:48. > :09:53.Barrow-upon-Soar. A 30-year-old man has been charged with kidnap,

:09:53. > :09:56.carrying a firearm in public and attempted robbery.

:09:56. > :10:01.Protestors camped on Old Market Square in Nottingham won't be

:10:01. > :10:05.evicted for at least another three weeks. A judge has ruled there

:10:05. > :10:09.should be a trial so that human rights issues can be considered.

:10:09. > :10:12.Occupy Nottingham started their protest almost six months ago. The

:10:12. > :10:21.City Council says it owns the land and that the camp is an

:10:21. > :10:31.unacceptable nuisance, as Quentin Rayner reports.

:10:31. > :10:36.Who's square? ALL: Our square! Who's square? ALL: Our square! A

:10:36. > :10:42.county court judge has agreed to hold a trial, postponing the

:10:42. > :10:47.eviction for several makes. -- several weeks. The camp has been

:10:47. > :10:50.here longer than any other in the city. The protesters claim ancient

:10:50. > :10:56.rights dating back to Edward the First entitle them to protest on a

:10:56. > :11:00.land. Today the judge ruled that a trial was needed to look at the

:11:00. > :11:06.balance of human rights issues. Human rights is a fundamental --

:11:06. > :11:13.fundamental issue. In fact, it is a key point. The right to assembly

:11:13. > :11:17.and a protest. We need to look at this for Occupy Nottingham and the

:11:17. > :11:21.movement as a whole and these rights need to be upheld. At the

:11:21. > :11:25.heart of the matter is that he public highway cannot be used as a

:11:25. > :11:28.campsite in definitely, say the city council. They also say there

:11:28. > :11:33.is a pressing need to remove the camp because of the nuisance from

:11:33. > :11:37.odour and urination issues, which have increased. The council says it

:11:37. > :11:40.has given the protesters countless opportunity to leave and they could

:11:40. > :11:42.still go and avoid the need for a trial.

:11:42. > :11:45.Managers at East Midlands Airport say they're confident there won't

:11:45. > :11:49.be any delays at passport control this Easter, as thousands of people

:11:49. > :11:52.jet off for their holidays. Concerns had been expressed by a

:11:52. > :11:55.number of airlines. They fear UK airports won't have enough Border

:11:55. > :12:05.Agency staff to carry out full security checks, as Tom Brown

:12:05. > :12:06.

:12:06. > :12:10.reports. Luggage, check. Sunhats, check. And

:12:10. > :12:15.don't forget the company toy. It is that time of year regain when

:12:15. > :12:23.thousands flocked to the airport, stopping East Midlands rain and

:12:23. > :12:27.snow for some continental sun. are going to Barcelona. Malabar.

:12:27. > :12:32.The two Sharm El-Sheikh. Because it is nice weather. Better than here!

:12:32. > :12:40.Egypt. We are going for a break and to celebrate my husband's 40th

:12:40. > :12:45.birthday. We're going to Egypt. It would be really nice if I could

:12:45. > :12:50.lead England for a bit and come back in two weeks. Is that OK?

:12:50. > :12:55.it could be a bumper Easter for the airport. The number of flying is

:12:55. > :12:59.expected to rise by more than 1,000. It is the 4th consecutive Easter

:12:59. > :13:03.the airport has seen a rise in passengers. But more flying means

:13:03. > :13:08.more strain on border controls and there were fears that a lack of

:13:08. > :13:13.staff could lead to major delays. But here at East Midlands Airport,

:13:13. > :13:16.they say there will be no hold-ups for passengers. We checked

:13:16. > :13:20.yesterday and at the beginning of the week and they are absolutely

:13:20. > :13:24.certain there will be no problems for people coming back over the

:13:24. > :13:28.Easter holidays. But the message to passengers is also not to get

:13:28. > :13:38.complacent. Arrive two hours before and you won't be left hanging

:13:38. > :13:40.

:13:40. > :13:42.around. Two Church of England bishops have

:13:42. > :13:45.been offering a free shoe-shining service. Today it's Maundy Thursday,

:13:45. > :13:48.when the Church remembers how Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.

:13:48. > :13:52.The Bishop of Sherwood and the Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham

:13:52. > :13:57.joined local clergy to shine shoes in Mansfield. This is my new friend,

:13:57. > :14:01.Alan, and what we are doing, we are cleaning his shoes for him! The

:14:01. > :14:07.reason is, it is what we call Maundy Thursday and we are

:14:07. > :14:11.remembering when Jesus washed feet. We prefer to clean shoes! This is

:14:11. > :14:15.the second deal we have done it. Last year, Nottingham, this year

:14:15. > :14:18.Mansfield. Next year, who knows? Next, to a pile of old stones not

:14:18. > :14:22.far from the former mining town of Clipstone in Nottinghamshire. The

:14:22. > :14:25.ruin barely merits a mention in the history books but its true place in

:14:25. > :14:31.history is about to be revealed. It's an old hunting lodge and is

:14:31. > :14:38.about to star in its own TV show. John Holmes has been to take a look.

:14:38. > :14:44.King John's Palace in a Clipstone. We are told and the Middle Ages it

:14:44. > :14:48.was a hunting lodge fit for a king. What do we know about it? Henry the

:14:48. > :14:53.second had it built when Richard -- Richard the lion heart would not

:14:53. > :14:57.have a meeting. This is the place he chose. Edward the First help

:14:57. > :15:02.Parliament he and Robin Hood popped up a few times. But that is all we

:15:02. > :15:07.understand. There may be more to learn... We have done loads of

:15:07. > :15:12.archaeology on that side of this wall and none on this... Today, the

:15:12. > :15:17.land is owned by two farmers. For Mickey, the arrival of a television

:15:17. > :15:23.crew is not a day too soon. Time Team's visit was a real life-

:15:23. > :15:29.saver. What did you feel when the biggest turned up? Oh, excited! And

:15:29. > :15:34.severely! It was a dream come true! With the archaeology close to the

:15:34. > :15:39.win so badly trashed, the net is spread wider. Two more trenches are

:15:39. > :15:43.added, based on the physics results. The first pegs and a strong radar

:15:43. > :15:48.feature on the southern edge of the site. The second transcends what

:15:48. > :15:53.could be a boundary ditch to the West. Maybe, just maybe, the

:15:53. > :15:56.archaeology will be better preserved at the site edges. Do you

:15:56. > :16:01.know what they found? everything. I am sure I was not

:16:01. > :16:05.allowed to see everything they found. And you are very keen to get

:16:05. > :16:10.what it -- visitors here? This is Nottingham's history and should be

:16:10. > :16:15.shared by everybody. And we have the most iconic forest anywhere in

:16:15. > :16:21.the world. Everybody knows Sherwood Forest. And if this adds to its

:16:21. > :16:25.glory, then that is all the better. A English Heritage and Notts County

:16:25. > :16:30.Council has spent over 100,000 making the ruin save for us to

:16:30. > :16:34.visit. Meanwhile, if like me, your appetite has been whetted, on

:16:34. > :16:44.Sunday, you will be eager to see what the 20 has unearthed.

:16:44. > :16:47.Her intriguing! We are very keen. - - what What's On has unearthed.

:16:47. > :16:50.Have -- what Time Team has unearthed.

:16:50. > :16:54.This is East Midlands Today. Coming up later... I'll be learning how to

:16:54. > :16:56.survive in the forest with just the basics.

:16:56. > :17:00.First tonight, devastating news for Derby County's skipper, Shaun

:17:00. > :17:03.Barker. The club has confirmed he'll be out for the whole of next

:17:03. > :17:06.season. Barker suffered a serious knee injury during the game with

:17:06. > :17:09.Nottingham Forest and underwent surgery last week. It revealed the

:17:09. > :17:13.damage is worse than originally feared and will mean the Rams

:17:13. > :17:18.skipper will play no part in the next season. The club has promised

:17:18. > :17:21.their full support for his rehabilitation and we wish him well.

:17:21. > :17:25.Onto Forest, and a massive game for them this weekend. Victory against

:17:25. > :17:28.Bristol City would lift them well clear of the drop zone. Anything

:17:28. > :17:37.else could see them dragged back into a relegation battle. So little

:17:37. > :17:42.wonder it's being billed as the biggest game of their season so far.

:17:42. > :17:46.He first arrived here as a fresh- faced teenager, turning down

:17:46. > :17:51.Arsenal and Manchester United to join the reds. He said he felt

:17:51. > :17:56.wanted then, so when the call came for Steve McClaren, he returned to

:17:56. > :18:00.where his career first began. quite emotional. I don't want to

:18:00. > :18:04.sound like I am going to cry, but I learned so much. I learned the

:18:04. > :18:09.basics of the game and I had a great education here coming up

:18:09. > :18:15.through the academy. It felt really right. The right situation and

:18:15. > :18:20.scenario for me to come back. I was more than happy to sign. High hopes

:18:20. > :18:25.faded when the clarinet and a new manager took over. Big ambitions

:18:25. > :18:31.instead turn to a battle against relegation. Forest in front again

:18:31. > :18:38.at the City Ground! It is not ability. That is not the issue. It

:18:38. > :18:43.has got to be me. When things aren't going too well, when you are

:18:43. > :18:46.1-0 down and a crowd of getting on your back... What do you do? Do you

:18:46. > :18:51.shrink and disappear out of the game or do you stick your chest out

:18:51. > :18:56.and go, I am going to keep doing the same thing. But the fortunes of

:18:57. > :19:02.Forest have changed in the last few weeks. They have been lifted six

:19:02. > :19:06.points clear of the drop zone. Next up, Bristol City. For me, this is

:19:06. > :19:10.the biggest game of the season and we can't afford to be complacent.

:19:10. > :19:14.We need better results than we have had all season because this game

:19:14. > :19:17.could be the difference between, you know, enjoying the run-in and

:19:18. > :19:22.may be playing some good football and picking up some good results,

:19:22. > :19:25.or also looking over our shoulder the whole time. So a massive,

:19:25. > :19:27.massive game for us. At Leicester City, manager Nigel

:19:27. > :19:31.Pearson has played down suggestions there's been a fallout with star

:19:31. > :19:38.striker Jermaine Beckford. He said he would be included in the squad

:19:38. > :19:48.for their game against Doncaster. have got no control over what gets

:19:48. > :19:53.into the national media. And how I worked... I think things are dealt

:19:53. > :19:56.with in-house for pretty obvious reasons and it is as simple as that.

:19:56. > :19:59.Notts County play Leyton Orient tomorrow, still with a chance of

:19:59. > :20:04.making the play-offs. And manager Keith Curle says his team should

:20:04. > :20:13.play their remaining games without fear. Do we think we can win? Yes,

:20:13. > :20:16.could do. If I am proved wrong, I know we will have had a go.

:20:16. > :20:20.Despite the chilly temperatures, it is the start of the cricket season

:20:20. > :20:22.today. The Woolies were out at Trent Bridge as Notts began their

:20:23. > :20:25.campaign against Worcestershire. The game won't have cheered them up

:20:25. > :20:28.much, Notts all out for 118, Worcestershire currently 127-9 in

:20:28. > :20:34.reply. At Grace Road, Leicestershire

:20:34. > :20:37.managed 249 in their first innings in their game against Glamorgan.

:20:37. > :20:40.And Derbyshire off to a good start against Northants, 286 for their

:20:40. > :20:43.first innings. The visitors 28-3 at close of play.

:20:43. > :20:48.Onto ice-hockey now, and it's play- off finals weekend in Nottingham

:20:48. > :20:51.and Panthers are in the mix once again. After securing their first

:20:51. > :21:01.piece of silverware, the Challenge Cup, last month, the question is,

:21:01. > :21:01.

:21:01. > :21:06.can they do it again? Here's Paul. Lifting the trophy and lifting the

:21:06. > :21:11.roof at the National Ice Centre last season. And now Panthers'

:21:11. > :21:15.captain is hoping to do it or loathe regain this weekend. It is

:21:15. > :21:19.just a wonderful feeling for any player, no matter whether it is

:21:19. > :21:23.your first year or your last. You play ice hockey to win

:21:23. > :21:27.championships and to do it with these guys is great. This is by far

:21:28. > :21:32.the most professional team I have been a part of. They booked their

:21:32. > :21:36.place in the semi-final with a dramatic win and a player coach,

:21:36. > :21:42.Corey Neilsen, says his players have earned their place on the big

:21:42. > :21:50.stage. When we do what we do, we can score goals, and that is the

:21:50. > :21:57.message to the players. 30 times this season, we have won by three

:21:57. > :22:04.or more goals. So I told them, it is possible. This is the most

:22:04. > :22:09.successful tenure in Panthers' history. It would be nice to win

:22:09. > :22:14.the League. We have not won it for years and for many of us, it is the

:22:14. > :22:18.only championship we have not won. To finish a championship is always

:22:18. > :22:23.a great way to take this season and go into the summer. They will feel

:22:23. > :22:31.confident going into their game on Saturday having won at all meeting

:22:31. > :22:35.against the sting rays. The winners will play in the final on Sunday.

:22:35. > :22:38.So a busy weekend of Easter sport. Thank you.

:22:38. > :22:42.Next tonight, is your ideal weekend under the stars, just you and

:22:42. > :22:45.nature? If it is, you're not alone. It seems many people are learning

:22:45. > :22:48.how to survive with just the basics. In fact, bushcraft is now so

:22:48. > :22:51.popular, they're running courses on it in Nottinghamshire. So for this

:22:51. > :23:01.month's What's On guide, I went along to Sherwood Pines Forest Park

:23:01. > :23:10.

:23:10. > :23:14.So, Mike bushcraft challenge begins with good work. I have already

:23:14. > :23:22.split you're locked but what we're going to do is cut a slice off

:23:22. > :23:32.using this. Wow! It is perfectly safe. It is a keeping tool rather

:23:32. > :23:33.

:23:33. > :23:37.than a splitting tool. Give it a good whack! Yeah! Yeah! Perfect!

:23:37. > :23:42.There are courses like this through the year learning shelter-building

:23:42. > :23:48.and fire-lighting. If you want to put your hand on there, please, and

:23:48. > :23:56.your right hand on the Boa... No weight on the bearing block.

:23:56. > :24:00.Just get the feel of it. Keep it going. Another 300! At Bosworth

:24:00. > :24:07.Battlefield, there is a day devoted to the countryside, with owl

:24:07. > :24:10.encounters and ferret racing. And why not let Sherwood Forest legend

:24:10. > :24:19.of Robin Hood take you on a tour of Nottingham? He will explain how he

:24:19. > :24:26.became a legend. OK, let's have a go at that... Just roll it round

:24:26. > :24:31.above your head and below. It is not as easy as it looks. It has

:24:31. > :24:41.gone, I'm afraid. So when the bow and drill doesn't work, time to

:24:41. > :24:43.

:24:43. > :24:50.bring in the flint and steel. On there... It is Easter weekend, so

:24:50. > :24:57.there are plenty of egg hunts. A chance to solve Easter clues and

:24:57. > :25:00.spot a few new arrivals on the wave. Explore your creative side as there

:25:00. > :25:04.is free Easter fun at The Nottingham Contemporary. Or head to

:25:04. > :25:14.the Festival of road, rail and steam at the Central Railway in

:25:14. > :25:18.

:25:18. > :25:26.that -- in Loughborough. Just Kraft it like that... Just like that!

:25:27. > :25:32.Kraft. This is what I have made for you, Dominic! I have hidden it for

:25:32. > :25:39.you all there! I have been waiting all week for this! It is a spatula

:25:39. > :25:49.for Dr King! It is truly unique! I shall treasure that. -- for cooking.

:25:49. > :25:49.

:25:49. > :25:53.I don't believe him! Now for the Things really brightened up nicely

:25:53. > :25:56.during the day today but I don't think there will be an awful lot of

:25:56. > :26:01.brightness as we go through this Easter bank holiday weekend. For

:26:01. > :26:06.much of the time, it will be quite cloudy, and that will be thick

:26:06. > :26:12.enough to bring us some rain at times. So not too many pictures as

:26:12. > :26:15.lovely as this one. That cloud, which has been breaking up through

:26:16. > :26:20.the day, will continue to break up through this evening and things

:26:20. > :26:26.will turn willy chilly with his blue shading, showing a widespread

:26:26. > :26:29.frost, with temperatures in towns and cities down to freezing. The

:26:29. > :26:35.clear conditions tonight are because of his nose of high

:26:35. > :26:40.pressure which has been dominating. It starts to slip away to the West

:26:40. > :26:45.and weather fronts come in from the North instead. That introduces more

:26:45. > :26:50.cloud and even a few light showers, particularly into the Peak District

:26:50. > :26:54.and down into parts of Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. Temperatures

:26:54. > :26:59.are at 11 degrees which will not feel too bad if you get into some

:26:59. > :27:05.sunshine. On Saturday, some light and patchy rain, probably drying up

:27:05. > :27:10.a bit in the afternoon. The odd brighter spell at 10, 11 degrees.

:27:10. > :27:16.It is a game of spot the difference with the odd dribble of rain and

:27:16. > :27:20.cloud from time to time. But then, as we had to the end of the weekend,

:27:20. > :27:26.another change. These weather fronts pylon from the Atlantic and

:27:26. > :27:31.will gang up on top of us, bringing quite happy rain at times. --

:27:31. > :27:35.piling in. It will Turnberry unsettled by Easter Monday.
