:08:27. > :08:32.a long way to go as we move from rescue to recovery. So, George, what
:08:32. > :08:36.is the mood? It is up each. We've been really surprised at the
:08:36. > :08:42.strength of business wanting to come out, wanting to engage, wanting to

:08:45. > :08:50.Part of that recovery includes new Internet businesses starting up,

:09:49. > :09:56.opened his cellar door to find that once again it had flooded with raw
:09:56. > :09:59.sewage. I was devastated, I was in shock, it is traumatic that it has

:10:04. > :10:07.home since seven trend installed a water tank under this road a few
:10:07. > :10:14.feet from his house to prevent any more flooding. Clearly, this has not
:10:14. > :10:18.solved the problem. Well, I am very angry at Severn Trent, disappointed,
:10:18. > :10:23.and not only that, I am frustrated because the managers know about
:10:23. > :10:26.this. And this is an ongoing problem. They still have not
:10:26. > :10:33.rectified it. Sundeep and his family have had to move to temporary
:10:33. > :10:36.accommodation. Severn Trent have apologised to him and admit the
:10:36. > :10:40.situation is not acceptable. We will try to understand why the measures

:10:45. > :10:49.remedial works we find necessary to ensure that Mr Patel is safe in a
:10:49. > :10:54.future. Once again, I have too stress there will always be some
:10:54. > :10:58.offence against which we cannot protect. That is unlikely to provide
:10:58. > :11:02.much solace for Sundeep. I would never have bought this house if this
:11:02. > :11:08.was going to be a problem. I cannot sell this property to anybody else

:12:30. > :12:35.unique archive, a database for future historians and researchers,
:12:35. > :12:39.and members of the general public who are interested. It has taken 24
:12:39. > :12:43.and his 18 months to scour the county. They were looking for
:12:43. > :12:48.memorials to gather names. In this church in Clifton, they found a
:12:48. > :12:54.memorial plaque last seen in a church in the city centre in the
:12:54. > :12:58.1950s. And long thought lost. The new research has revealed that some
:12:58. > :13:02.5% of Nottinghamshire's casualties were under 30. Almost all of them
:13:02. > :13:09.were soldiers and nearly three quarters of those were killed on the
:13:09. > :13:12.Western front. One in six of the male population of all ages in
:13:12. > :13:16.Nottinghamshire died or were wounded in the great War. I'd be very
:13:17. > :13:21.surprised if there was any county who could match that scale of
:13:21. > :13:27.sacrifice. The second phase of the project will add photos, letters and

:14:04. > :14:07.heralds the start of the new football season so today Colin and
:14:07. > :14:15.Natalie have been out to all about to our clubs starting at Leicester.
:14:15. > :14:19.I cannot believe it! The football season is hours away.
:14:19. > :14:23.All three of our championship clubs have yet another huge season ahead
:14:23. > :14:26.of them. Leicester City, the spending may have stopped but the
:14:26. > :14:29.expectations are as high as they ever were.
:14:29. > :14:34.At Nottingham Forest, they talk about unfinished business for
:14:34. > :14:39.manager Billy Davies. At Derby, it has been rough for
:14:39. > :14:43.Clough but they are building him up this term. They are saying it might
:14:43. > :14:49.be his time to shine. Our question is, why is this season so important
:14:49. > :14:54.in the championship? The stakes this season could not be
:14:55. > :15:01.higher. 24 championship clubs tonight ready to chase the huge
:15:01. > :15:05.riches of the Premier League. Only three can scoop the jackpot. All our
:15:05. > :15:09.big sides, Leicester City, Nottingham Forest and Derby County,
:15:09. > :15:14.start this season with that in mind. All believe that if they can hold

:15:20. > :15:25.This season, promotion offers an unparalleled opportunity financially
:15:25. > :15:31.and a one-off chance to secure a cup's future. The Premier League
:15:31. > :15:36.dream this time around could be worth as much as 150 million.
:15:36. > :15:41.In-depth on all three of our championship clubs. We start at
:15:41. > :15:45.Nottingham Forest, the busiest of our clubs. This is the manager.
:15:45. > :15:49.Billy Davies, thank you for agreeing to talk to us. Are you happy with
:15:49. > :15:53.your transfers and acquisitions? We've got to thank the chairman and
:15:53. > :15:56.family for what has been great support. No doubt about it.
:15:56. > :16:01.Tremendous support from the chairman, delighted to have that
:16:01. > :16:05.support. And we thank the family very much. Sounds like your
:16:05. > :16:08.relationship is pretty good. It has been excellent. We've got a great
:16:08. > :16:12.understanding, a great working relationship. We know what we are
:16:12. > :16:17.trying to do and what it takes to get there. We are on the same page,
:16:17. > :16:22.which is always very useful. And it is a pleasure working for this man.
:16:22. > :16:26.It could be a double-edged sword because you've made some pretty good
:16:26. > :16:33.signings. Does that pile the pressure on to you? There was no
:16:33. > :16:39.excuse the last time. We were one of the favourites for promotion last
:16:39. > :16:43.time. In the second season, same thing. This is a club, this is the
:16:43. > :16:50.badge, this is what this club carries, a big expectation from fans
:16:50. > :16:53.from the and everybody else. So, we know what we are dealing with, we're
:16:53. > :16:57.not surprised by it, we welcome it and we are delighted with the
:16:57. > :17:07.challenge. We do live up to the expectations? Are you thinking.
:17:07. > :17:09.
:17:09. > :17:12.Two? The expectation is top six. We have to compete in the top six.
:17:12. > :17:19.There are plenty of other teams in this boat. Wigan, Derby County,
:17:19. > :17:23.every single day -- game, home and away will be difficult, no matter
:17:23. > :17:30.what the spending, the history, the badge, the tradition, the
:17:30. > :17:33.championship is very tough. Thank you very much indeed. Forest have
:17:34. > :17:37.got Huddersfield. Down the road, Leicester City are away at
:17:37. > :17:41.Middlesbrough. Pressure on the manager, Nigel Pearson as well.
:17:41. > :17:51.Everyone is well aware that a good start is crucial for him. I've been

:18:48. > :18:52.season I didn't have to answer a question about who was going to be
:18:52. > :18:58.my replacement, so, I suppose, in football management you tend to get
:18:58. > :19:03.battle hardened to speculation. But I always do my job in a way I think
:19:03. > :19:13.it needs to be done. And I am very pleased to be here. And I will be
:19:13. > :19:18.
:19:18. > :19:26.working very hard to have a everybody would like it to happen.
:19:26. > :19:35.But I still think we have made progress as a club. But it is making
:19:35. > :19:39.that next step. Well, if he is going to lead Leicester City next is -- to
:19:39. > :19:46.the next step, it's going to be from the seats. What about Derby's
:19:46. > :19:50.prospects? This morning, Nat was inside the training ground.
:19:50. > :19:54.The manager Nigel Clough starts this season as the longest serving

:20:28. > :20:33.I can't as well. I will use that to my advantage, hopefully. I just want
:20:33. > :20:38.to prove I can play at this level. Derby have a number of coveted
:20:38. > :20:41.players. Notably 18-year-old will Hughes who is regularly scouted by
:20:41. > :20:48.Arsenal, Manchester city and Liverpool, with a cool price tag of
:20:48. > :20:52.several million. There is real expectation this year. We've got to
:20:53. > :20:55.shake some depth. Is it strange on days like today when you're in the
:20:55. > :20:59.closed shop and there are kids your age desperate for your autograph?
:20:59. > :21:04.Two years ago, I would not have believed this to be true, especially
:21:04. > :21:09.this quickly. It's been crazy. I hope to keep my feet on the ground.
:21:09. > :21:14.I think the fact we've got a settled side, we've got to keep them fit,
:21:14. > :21:24.and it gives us a chance. At Derby, the hit is ready and their first

:22:00. > :22:03.We will keep in touch with everything over the weekend. And
:22:04. > :22:07.there will be a full and comprehensive round-up on Monday.
:22:07. > :22:10.I, for one, cannot wait to see what happens.
:22:10. > :22:14.Here we go, as they say. She's set three world records,
:22:14. > :22:18.battled tropical storms and almost died at sea but this weekend Rutland
:22:18. > :22:21.rower Sarah Outen is preparing to reach a major milestone. The
:22:21. > :22:28.adventurer, who is rowing solo across the north Pacific Ocean, will
:22:28. > :22:35.mark her 100th day at sea on Sunday. She's one of only four women ever to
:22:35. > :22:45.have spent so long at sea alone. To celebrate the occasion she's
:22:45. > :22:51.announcing another, more personal, achievement as Sarah Teale reports.
:22:51. > :22:57.Sarah Outen's first attempt to row solo from Japan to Canada last year
:22:57. > :23:02.was full of danger and drama. After 26 days at sea, a powerful tropical
:23:02. > :23:09.storm hit, and Sarah had no choice but to call for coastguards to
:23:09. > :23:17.rescue her. After recuperating back home in Rutland, she decided to try
:23:17. > :23:24.again and set off this May. This time around, it has been much less
:23:24. > :23:29.traumatic than last year. Equally, it has been full of the most
:23:29. > :23:37.wonderful moments. It is everything I hoped it would be, and more, I
:23:37. > :23:44.suppose. Sarah has already rode 1400 miles across the North Pacific Ocean
:23:44. > :23:54.and will be celebrating 100 days at sea this Sunday. It vary -- it feels
:23:54. > :23:54.
:23:54. > :24:00.very cool to be a today 100. Every moment, every milestone, just feels
:24:00. > :24:05.huge. The 28-year-old adventurer has marked the momentous achievement by
:24:05. > :24:10.announcing her engagement to her girlfriend, Lucy. I asked her to
:24:10. > :24:16.marry me for weeks ago. So I am super excited by that. The thought
:24:16. > :24:22.of seeing her again in Canada excites me. So says she's feeling
:24:22. > :24:25.strong physically and mentally and, hopeful, of not just reaching
:24:25. > :24:32.Vancouver but finishing a mission to complete a continuous sleep of the
:24:32. > :24:36.world by cycling, kayaking and rowing. I store have that cautious
:24:36. > :24:46.optimism for the chance of successfully landing in Canada, but
:24:46. > :24:50.I know that it is outside contingencies that will determine
:24:50. > :24:54.the outcome. If she successfully crosses the North Pacific Ocean, she
:24:55. > :24:59.will still have to cycle across Canada and America, and then row the
:24:59. > :25:07.Atlantic Ocean to get back to England, a feat she is determined to
:25:07. > :25:11.achieve. Wow. We were wondering, does she
:25:11. > :25:14.ever get any spare moments? And what does she do them?
:25:14. > :25:18.I know what she does in her long I know what she does in her long
:25:18. > :25:21.hours. Have a look at this. And Sarah had a special message for
:25:21. > :25:26.us at East Midlands Today from the middle of the ocean.
:25:26. > :25:31.She's extraordinary, how on earth does she have the time?
:25:31. > :25:36.She is multitalented. A lot of people have been asking me whether
:25:36. > :25:40.the heatwave is back for this weekend. Fortunately or
:25:40. > :25:45.unfortunately, it looks as the heatwave was a one-hit wonder.
:25:45. > :25:48.Yesterday, we reached 31.3 Celsius across the East Midlands. It has
:25:48. > :25:55.been cooler for us today and we are staying in the cooler air mass
:25:55. > :25:59.through the weekend. We are talking of highs in the low 20s. A little
:25:59. > :26:02.bit more comfortable and bearable for sleeping. That cooler air mass
:26:02. > :26:06.is also much more unstable and showery, so there will be some
:26:06. > :26:11.showers lurking about through the weekend, some of those heavy. They
:26:11. > :26:15.will be moving through quickly on a brisk wind, and there will be some
:26:15. > :26:20.sunshine in between. It is a usable weekend of weather with some dry and
:26:20. > :26:23.brighter bits. We've seen a lot of dry and bright weather today. We've
:26:23. > :26:27.escaped the showers but there have been some heavy ones developing.
:26:27. > :26:34.These ones are quite stubborn so they will continue the night, on and
:26:34. > :26:39.off. Temperatures, much cooler and fresher than last night. 13 or 14 is
:26:39. > :26:45.the lowest. Tomorrow morning, we start off with showers from the word
:26:45. > :26:49.go. As the day progresses, they will line themselves up into bands so
:26:49. > :26:52.some places might get shower after shower being blown through on those
:26:52. > :26:57.brisk winds, and some places may escape them altogether. Northern
:26:57. > :27:00.areas will be the best place to see the sunshine. The showers eventually
:27:00. > :27:05.fade out into the evenings at if you've got a barbecue planned
:27:05. > :27:09.tomorrow, there should be a lot of dry and bright weather around.
:27:09. > :27:18.Sunday, it looks as though we've got this weather system moving its
:27:18. > :27:21.weight in on Sunday. It'll take all day long to take to us, so the cloud
:27:21. > :27:26.increases during the day and we see some of the showery rain into the
:27:26. > :27:30.evening and through the night. Sunday night into Monday, the rain
:27:30. > :27:33.will turn heavy. It looks as though there is heavy rain to start next
