:00:04. > :00:09.This is East Midlands Today with Dominic Heale and me, Anne Davies.

:00:09. > :00:17.Tonight — the horrifying news that came in a late night phone call. He

:00:17. > :00:26.said, have you heard anything? I said, "no—mac." He said, "your house

:00:26. > :00:30.came on fire." In just moments, this man had lost his wife, daughter and

:00:31. > :00:36.two sons. Also made, the pro—Minister tells us

:00:36. > :00:43.that cash—strapped local councils should stop living. These cuts are

:00:43. > :00:49.relatively modest, they can be done. Plus, a vigil for Christians killed

:00:49. > :00:53.in a Pakistan suicide attack. And the world beating supercomputer

:00:53. > :01:03.that is unlocking the secrets of the stars.

:01:03. > :01:08.Good evening and welcome to Friday's programme. First tonight:

:01:08. > :01:12.The father who lost his entire family in a house fire in Leicester

:01:12. > :01:16.two weeks ago has described the moment he was told of the tragedy.

:01:16. > :01:19.He's also revealed he can't bring himself to go and see the gutted

:01:19. > :01:22.property. Dr Mohammed Taufiq al Sattar said

:01:22. > :01:29.his faith is keeping him strong after the loss of his wife and three

:01:29. > :01:33.children. Sarah Teale reports. It was a devastating fire which

:01:33. > :01:38.engulfed the Taufiq al Sattar family home at Woodhill in Leicester, two

:01:38. > :01:42.weeks ago. Dr Sattar was in Dublin, where he worked as a neurosurgeon,

:01:42. > :01:48.When he was woken with a phone call from a friend. And he said, "Have

:01:48. > :01:54.you heard anything?" I said "No". He said, "Your house came on fire". And

:01:54. > :01:58.he said he hadn't seen anybody taken out from the house. As a

:01:58. > :02:03.neurosurgeon, I know we deal with life and death everyday in life, as

:02:03. > :02:13.well. So, yeah...it was on my mind, as well. Dr al Sattar has only

:02:13. > :02:18.visited the family home once, since. Very painful. I have not seen my

:02:19. > :02:22.house again. And I don't want to see it, as well. I don't want to go

:02:22. > :02:26.inside, as well. His three children — daughter Zainab, 19, and sons

:02:26. > :02:33.Bilal, 17, and Jamil, 15 — died along with Dr al Sattar's wife

:02:33. > :02:39.Shehnila. A wonderful lady. She was very active. And she made so many

:02:39. > :02:43.friends here in Leicester. When we came, first time in 2006, you can't

:02:43. > :02:51.believe — we did not know any single person in Leicester. And now you can

:02:51. > :02:54.see how the community is with us. Dr al Sattar says that support and his

:02:54. > :02:59.faith have given him strength to cope. There are so many people who

:02:59. > :03:04.have condolences — sympathy with yourself and with your family. Even

:03:04. > :03:09.if they don't know you but they are there. This is what is giving me

:03:09. > :03:14.comfort in my heart. 18—year—old Kemo Porter from Leicester has been

:03:14. > :03:18.charged with murder. Seven other people are still being questioned by

:03:18. > :03:24.police. Sarah Teale, East Midlands Today.

:03:24. > :03:29.The Prime Minister has dismissed warnings from East Midlands councils

:03:29. > :03:33.about town hall cuts. David Cameron describes a new round

:03:33. > :03:36.of belt tightening on town halls as relatively modest and not impossible

:03:36. > :03:40.to find. In an interview with our Political

:03:40. > :03:43.Editor John Hess in Downing Street, the Prime Minister was responding to

:03:43. > :03:48.the latest warnings from local politicians of dire consequences.

:03:49. > :03:52.Well, I think there is a danger they are trying to play a blame game.

:03:52. > :03:55.Look, everyone in this country, everyone watching this programme,

:03:55. > :03:58.knows that we have a big budget deficit. We can't live beyond our

:03:58. > :04:01.means. We've had to make cuts, cuts in central government and local

:04:01. > :04:04.government. But actually, when you look at the cuts in local

:04:04. > :04:08.government, the additional cuts they are being asked to make, they are

:04:08. > :04:12.relatively modest. It can be done. And I would praise local councils in

:04:12. > :04:15.what they have done so far to make efficiencies without hitting front

:04:15. > :04:18.line services. They can go on doing that. You will be aware that even

:04:18. > :04:20.the leader of Leicestershire has been to hold meetings with

:04:20. > :04:24.Conservative MPs here saying, actually, even his authority can't

:04:24. > :04:27.take any more cuts. I don't accept that. I think local councils have

:04:27. > :04:31.shown you can find efficiencies. Things like the pay freeze we put in

:04:31. > :04:35.place have made sure we are keeping people in work, providing good

:04:35. > :04:38.services. But of course it's difficult. The cuts that are being

:04:38. > :04:45.asked for are relatively modest, something like 2.3%. It's not

:04:45. > :04:49.impossible to do. The Housing Federation says the East Midlands

:04:49. > :04:54.has only built 43% of homes that the region needs. —— is only building.

:04:54. > :04:58.It supported Ed Miliband's pledge for the additional homes by the end

:04:58. > :05:00.of a Labour government. And yet, already we are hearing from

:05:00. > :05:06.Conservative MPs in marginal seats saying, "Not in my backyard". Where

:05:06. > :05:09.is this going to be sorted out? We are sorting it out because we are

:05:09. > :05:13.reforming the planning system so these houses can be built. People

:05:13. > :05:15.are absolutely right saying this has got to be determined locally and

:05:15. > :05:20.planning authorities should make decisions. My view is that actually,

:05:20. > :05:24.when you trust local councils, what you find is that if they are given

:05:24. > :05:28.the choice, they do build the houses but try to make sure they are built

:05:28. > :05:32.in a way that local people support. That is what we have put in place

:05:32. > :05:36.and I am confident we will get the housing that we need. Finally, one

:05:36. > :05:38.of your MPs described you as a disturbing cocktail of Alan

:05:38. > :05:42.Partridge and John Wayne. How would you describe yourself? I get

:05:42. > :05:46.described as a lot of things in this job but I hope I am a bit more John

:05:46. > :05:48.Wayne than Alan Partridge. Prime Minister, thank you very much

:05:48. > :05:52.indeed. Thank you. And you can see more of that

:05:52. > :05:55.interview and hear from the MEP who accused him of being more like Alan

:05:55. > :05:58.Partridge on the Sunday Politics for the East Midlands. That's on BBC One

:05:58. > :06:03.from 11am. Coming up in the programme — for

:06:03. > :06:07.sport it's a big weekend. The latest East Midlands derby is tomorrow.

:06:07. > :06:18.It's Nottingham Forest vs Derby County and this time around there is

:06:18. > :06:21.a bit of extra spice! For the 20,000 football fans were

:06:21. > :06:26.going to pack into the ground here tomorrow, it will be bright, funny

:06:26. > :06:35.and a little bit breezy. That continues across the East Midlands.

:06:35. > :06:38.A vigil is being held this evening in Leicester to remember people

:06:38. > :06:42.killed in a suicide attack on a Christian church in Pakistan.

:06:42. > :06:45.More than 80 died in the bomb blast last Sunday, including five members

:06:45. > :06:49.of the same family with relatives in Leicester.

:06:49. > :06:52.Well our reporter, Eleanor Garnier, is outside the church where

:06:52. > :07:03.tonight's service is being held. Have many people arrived yet? At

:07:03. > :07:09.least 50 people have arrived for this evening's vigil at the Church

:07:09. > :07:12.of the Resurrection, here in Leicester. The service started half

:07:12. > :07:18.an hour ago but people are still arriving. People of all faiths were

:07:18. > :07:21.invited for the service. The assistant bishop of Leicester is

:07:21. > :07:26.also here to join in the prayers, readings and music. This double

:07:26. > :07:32.suicide bombing happened thousands of miles away in Pakistan but the

:07:32. > :07:39.pain and impact is being felt here in Leicester. My report contains

:07:39. > :07:43.some distressing images. This area had been packed with

:07:43. > :07:49.Christian worshippers when two suicide bombers blew themselves up.

:07:49. > :07:54.Dozens of men, women and children were killed, among them the uncle

:07:54. > :07:59.and cousins of this man. He moved to Leicester two years ago. I am very

:07:59. > :08:15.upset because I lost my family. In Pakistan. When I saw in the news...

:08:15. > :08:21.My heart was weeping. I think nobody is safe in Pakistan. The double

:08:21. > :08:25.suicide bombing happened at the all Saints Church as hundreds of

:08:25. > :08:28.worshippers left Sunday Mass. Now, prayers are being fed thousands of

:08:28. > :08:34.miles away in Leicester to remember those who died. I think it is a

:08:34. > :08:38.reminder for us to respect the human life and it is a reminder for us

:08:39. > :08:45.coming together to reflect on the value of life. And also, coming

:08:45. > :08:50.together, that we may pray that people do not do things, take the

:08:50. > :08:55.lives of other people. As mourners come to terms with what has

:08:55. > :08:58.happened, it is thought this attack is the worst on Pakistan's Christian

:08:58. > :09:05.community in the history of the country.

:09:05. > :09:11.Now, militants linked to the Pakistani Taliban have said they

:09:11. > :09:16.carried out that attack at that church on Sunday. But, in fact,

:09:16. > :09:20.today, there has been another blast, this time on a bus. We know that at

:09:20. > :09:24.least 17 people have died. People who came for this evening's vigil

:09:24. > :09:26.have told me that all those who died will be in their prayers.

:09:26. > :09:29.Thank you very much. A once—prominent member of the

:09:29. > :09:32.English Defence League is on the run after being found guilty of a

:09:32. > :09:36.violent attempted robbery in Nottinghamshire. Guramit Singh

:09:36. > :09:39.Kalirai was sentenced to six and a half years on Tuesday after a

:09:40. > :09:46.Hucknall shopkeeper was tied up and threatened with a knife in May. Two

:09:46. > :09:49.other men were also jailed. But Kalirai, a former EDL spokesman from

:09:49. > :09:55.Bramcote, failed to turn up at Nottingham Crown Court. A warrant's

:09:55. > :09:58.now been issued for his arrest. Senior councillors at Derbyshire

:09:58. > :10:02.County Council could be in line for a 10% pay rise, just days after they

:10:02. > :10:09.announced 16,000 jobs may have to go. —— 1600. The newly—elected

:10:09. > :10:13.Labour leadership says it needs to save £157 million over five years.

:10:13. > :10:15.It also wants to change the way its cabinet members' allowances are

:10:15. > :10:19.structured. An independent panel's recommended paying a smaller number

:10:19. > :10:25.of councillors more, to make up for extra work they'll have to do.

:10:25. > :10:27.A new research centre which aims to come up with better treatments for

:10:27. > :10:31.patients with breathing problems opened today. £8 million pounds has

:10:31. > :10:35.been invested into the Leicester Respiratory Biomedical Research

:10:35. > :10:39.Unit. —— £8 million has been invested. It's based at the

:10:39. > :10:41.Glenfield Hospital and will look into conditions like Asthma and

:10:41. > :10:53.Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or COPD. We need to have

:10:53. > :10:56.better drugs and this is a great facility for both studying new

:10:56. > :11:01.medicines, testing them on patients, but also we have a lab which allows

:11:01. > :11:04.us to come up with new ideas for different types of medicines which

:11:04. > :11:08.might help patients. Police are making a direct appeal to

:11:08. > :11:10.a missing teenager from Mansfield to return home. 14—year—old Ciaran

:11:10. > :11:13.Sweeney ran away almost two weeks ago.

:11:13. > :11:17.Despite being missing for all this time, officers believe he may not be

:11:17. > :11:26.far away. Simon Ward reports from Mansfield.

:11:26. > :11:30.The police are searching homes on this stage, trying to get

:11:30. > :11:34.information about where the boy is. There have been numerous reported

:11:34. > :11:39.sightings of the 14—year—old but none confirmed. Today, the police

:11:39. > :11:44.spoke directly to him. If you are not wanting to go home for a

:11:44. > :11:48.reason, don't want to face your mum, it is more important that we find

:11:48. > :11:52.you and make sure you are safe. You can go to a police station. You

:11:52. > :11:58.don't have to go home. You can speak to any of our uniformed staff

:11:58. > :12:03.industry. Or even go into a major supermarket or some building like

:12:03. > :12:06.that. It was almost two years ago that he ran across this Heath after

:12:06. > :12:11.an argument with his mother. He was in such a hurry that he ran off

:12:11. > :12:15.without any shoes. The police say someone in a house near here could

:12:15. > :12:19.be sheltering him. It is most likely that he is in this area and that

:12:19. > :12:22.somebody is helping him. That is what we are trying to appeal to

:12:22. > :12:26.anybody who might know the whereabouts of the boy. Whether they

:12:26. > :12:30.are looking after him themselves or think they might know someone who

:12:30. > :12:35.is, we need to know and that he is safe. 's family and the police say

:12:35. > :12:39.he is not in trouble, they just want him home. The focus is trying to

:12:39. > :12:41.discover whether he is hiding in one of these houses.

:12:41. > :12:43.A Government report says police in Derbyshire carry out too many

:12:43. > :12:47.strip—searches in custody. Her Majesty's Inspectorate studied

:12:47. > :12:51.stations in Derby and in the north of the county. It claims officers

:12:51. > :12:54.couldn't always give convincing reasons for the searches and those

:12:54. > :13:00.arrested were sometimes put in undignified safety clothing,

:13:00. > :13:04.unnecessarily. It did praise their general treatment. The force says

:13:04. > :13:08.the safety of those in custody is its main priority.

:13:08. > :13:11.One of the region's busiest roads will see the start of weekly

:13:11. > :13:16.overnight closures from this weekend. The A453 between the M1 and

:13:16. > :13:19.Nottingham will be closed from 8pm on Saturday nights until 6am on

:13:19. > :13:26.Sunday mornings, from now until March. It's part of the on—going

:13:26. > :13:30.widening work. The Highways Agency has warned drivers to leave plenty

:13:30. > :13:38.of time for their journeys — especially if travelling to East

:13:38. > :13:43.Midlands Airport. If you are due to be travelling in

:13:43. > :13:48.or out of Nottingham then be aware there are long delays on the A453.

:13:48. > :13:51.Some power cables came down and blocked the road both ways. They

:13:51. > :13:54.have been moved but congestion has still built up.

:13:54. > :13:57.New figures on house prices show that the East Midlands is currently

:13:57. > :14:01.one of the strongest performing regions in the UK. Prices rose on

:14:01. > :14:04.average by more than 3% in the third quarter of this year, with the

:14:04. > :14:07.average price of a home reaching nearly £162,000. According to the

:14:07. > :14:09.Nationwide Building Society, Leicester was the strongest

:14:09. > :14:21.performing area in the region, with annual price growth of 6%.

:14:21. > :14:25.Derbyshire recorded 1%. You might have heard that there is a

:14:25. > :14:31.massive super brain at work in the East millions. It's not Dom, it's

:14:31. > :14:33.called Complexity. It's a huge super—computer in Leicester that's

:14:33. > :14:35.putting Britain at the leading edge of space science.

:14:35. > :14:44.It's even helping unravel the mystery of how the stars themselves

:14:44. > :14:47.are created. Navtej Johal reports. The results from this machine have

:14:47. > :14:52.drawn some of the brightest scientific minds in the country to

:14:52. > :14:56.our part of the world. This £2 million supercomputer can handle

:14:56. > :15:01.over 90 trillion operations per second. That means a task that would

:15:01. > :15:07.take months on a desktop computer can be performed in a few days.

:15:07. > :15:15.Physically, this supercomputer has been named Complexity. —— in a

:15:15. > :15:18.fitting fashion. This is one of five supercomputers being used to throw

:15:18. > :15:24.the UK to find out more about our galaxy. At this conference, hosted

:15:24. > :15:27.by the University of Leicester team, everyone working on the project has

:15:27. > :15:30.been brought together for the first team. You can see the posters

:15:30. > :15:34.showing the results of what is coming out of the project at the

:15:34. > :15:39.moment. These are at the cutting edge of what we understand of

:15:39. > :15:43.astronomy and particle physics. This is the sign that the UK is really

:15:43. > :15:47.leading the world in this. It is keeping the head. Leicester's

:15:47. > :15:50.machine has been exploring black holes. It has always been thought

:15:50. > :15:56.that black holes stop stars being created. But Ph.D. Student Martin

:15:56. > :15:59.Bourne has been on the team whose findings could actually suggested

:15:59. > :16:05.the opposite. We are finding that these can actually create stars. The

:16:05. > :16:11.results that are coming out on the effect it has on the amenity is

:16:11. > :16:16.amazing. Again, it is just showing how hard the people here are

:16:16. > :16:19.working. The scientists say it is down to supercomputers like

:16:19. > :16:21.Leicester's that the UK is able to make these new discoveries and stay

:16:22. > :16:30.at the top of global scientific research.

:16:30. > :16:34.Just how long would you be on the helpline is that crashed!

:16:34. > :16:40.A long time! It must be chilly in our studio. There are many and

:16:41. > :16:45.scarves. That is because —— except for me, I

:16:46. > :16:48.am staying neutral. We have to special fans dressed up for the

:16:49. > :16:54.occasion. The waiting is barely over. It's the biggest game of the

:16:54. > :16:56.season for the fans — the East Midlands derby. Nottingham Forest

:16:56. > :17:01.against Derby County is tomorrow at the city Ground. We are going to

:17:01. > :17:07.have more from these men but first, Natalie Jackson has been in both

:17:07. > :17:13.camps this week. The Derby, the biggest game of the

:17:13. > :17:18.season. Steve it is massive, definitely massive. When it comes to

:17:18. > :17:24.drama, passion, intrigue and plots and twists, trust me, this game

:17:24. > :17:30.cannot be beaten. This is all about bragging rights. I think, over the

:17:30. > :17:33.last number of games, Derby have managed to get their hands on the

:17:33. > :17:37.bragging rights and we would like to turn that around. For many years, we

:17:37. > :17:39.didn't get anything at all. It is nice to have given them some

:17:39. > :17:57.happiness in that department. We wanted to go out there and give

:17:57. > :18:01.it all to get the three points, to put any good performance and keep

:18:01. > :18:06.good going. For the fans as well, you know. So that they have bragging

:18:06. > :18:09.rights because it is important. I am pretty sure that Saturday will be

:18:09. > :18:14.very different in the sense that it will be lots of blood and guts and

:18:14. > :18:18.thunder. You know, really intense. This year, much will be made of the

:18:18. > :18:29.relationship between the two managers. Davis formally took Derby

:18:29. > :18:32.to the Premier League. Back in 2010, Billy accused Nigel of kneeing him

:18:32. > :18:37.in the back of the leg during a touchline melee. The other has

:18:37. > :18:44.always denied the allegation. I should cancel the men so I don't

:18:44. > :18:49.think it will be a drink and a chat afterwords but out of respect for

:18:49. > :18:54.the job that we do, we will she can. I agree with him, we certainly will

:18:55. > :18:58.not be having a drink after the game but, as I said, we will do what we

:18:58. > :19:10.have got to do with regards to respect for each other and the clubs

:19:10. > :19:18.we are —— jobs were getting. —— jobs we are getting done.

:19:18. > :19:23.No love lost between the managers, is there?! But they have both

:19:23. > :19:27.emphasised they want the game played in the right kind of spirit and the

:19:27. > :19:30.fans to keep it friendly too. Lets talk about it all then, with our

:19:30. > :19:34.guests. In the Rams corner, Craig Ramage — a Derby boy who turned out

:19:34. > :19:37.for his hometown club. And in the Reds corner, David Johnson — a

:19:37. > :19:41.proper Forest hero who seems to spend half his life within yards of

:19:41. > :19:45.the city Ground. What's the atmosphere like at these games,

:19:45. > :19:50.then? It's amazing. I was brought up as a Derby fan so it was a little

:19:50. > :19:55.bit extra special for me but the atmosphere, everything about it, I

:19:55. > :19:58.think it is on par with a Merseyside and Manchester derby. It means that

:19:58. > :20:02.much to the Derby people and Forest people. To you agree? Steve

:20:02. > :20:04.much to the Derby people and Forest people. To you agree? It is a

:20:04. > :20:09.fantastic atmosphere if you win. It is a long way back down the motorway

:20:09. > :20:14.if you get beaten but obviously, it is a City Ground and lots of fans so

:20:14. > :20:21.I am happy. What is your best memory? In 1990, I managed to score

:20:21. > :20:32.against the red dogs! I was very happy about it. What Mike —— we beat

:20:33. > :20:37.them and went on to the play—offs and did not get to the final but it

:20:37. > :20:41.was a good year. Let's talk about what is going to

:20:41. > :20:47.happen tomorrow. Forest have got the edge. Does that matter, the weight

:20:47. > :20:51.of history? Not really. I think that Derby have come to the city ground

:20:51. > :20:55.and done very well. In the last game, obviously. This year, Forest

:20:55. > :20:59.have been bested. Some quality players. I don't think they could

:20:59. > :21:04.have played at a better time, tomorrow. Derby have got these

:21:04. > :21:11.recent games. They won five out of the last ten, only three wins for

:21:11. > :21:15.Forest. We have been struggling at home but we are playing well, the

:21:15. > :21:21.teams are coming at us and we can break on. It is a little bit

:21:21. > :21:24.different. Finding them little holes that were causing them trouble.

:21:24. > :21:27.Hopefully, we will get her own form sorted out but we have a great

:21:27. > :21:32.chance tomorrow. Is the way for going to be enough for Derby? I

:21:32. > :21:37.think the quality of the home team will get them through tomorrow. They

:21:37. > :21:40.not a chance! I would be happy with the draw but I think we will get

:21:40. > :21:47.ours in tomorrow. Thank you both for joining us. Derby are looking at

:21:47. > :21:51.signing a couple of new players. News of that to come and Forest on

:21:51. > :21:53.the vibe, the pear drops on signings also.

:21:53. > :21:56.Of course, it is not all about Forest verses Derby, Leicester are

:21:56. > :22:00.in stunning form at the moment. One player in particular is enjoying his

:22:00. > :22:03.best form yet in a Foxes shirt. When striker Jamie Vardy joined last

:22:03. > :22:07.season, he cost the club £1 million — a record fee for a non—league

:22:07. > :22:15.player. His aim — to prove it's been money well spent.

:22:15. > :22:28.He has gone from non—league to a team vying for the Premier League. I

:22:28. > :22:34.mean, when they tell you you're not good enough, you think, that said,

:22:34. > :22:38.it's not gone to happen. He did not play for a year but was persuaded to

:22:38. > :22:42.return and it was the best decision of his life. His goal—scoring

:22:42. > :22:47.exploits earned him a £1 million move to the Foxes. That price tag

:22:47. > :22:52.and proving he was good enough to could stall. The physicality of the

:22:52. > :22:58.players, the quality of the players. It was always going to be hard but

:22:58. > :23:03.last year, me seeing what works and working hard in the off—season. I

:23:04. > :23:09.think it helps when you aren't seeing on Twitter support from all

:23:09. > :23:16.of the —— when you are getting abuse on Twitter. You have to prove

:23:16. > :23:20.yourself. Scoring two goals already and the promise of more to come, can

:23:20. > :23:24.he complete his fairy tale and be in the Premier League? It would be a

:23:24. > :23:30.dream come true. We will just have to, hopefully it will happen and I

:23:30. > :23:35.will have to pinch myself again! That was a great interview, really

:23:35. > :23:37.interesting. Don't step away from the rest

:23:37. > :23:41.because there is plenty more actually. There is more?

:23:41. > :23:44.Also in action this weekend, Notts County at Carlisle. And the other

:23:44. > :23:48.big local derby. Can't believe that Chesterfield versus Mansfield has

:23:48. > :23:51.fallen on the same day as Forest v Derby. What a renewal of old

:23:51. > :23:54.rivalries that is! Follow all the games on your BBC Local Radio

:23:54. > :24:00.station. It's not all that's happening. Very quickly, here are

:24:00. > :24:05.our four to watch. Leicester Tigers are off to Exeter

:24:05. > :24:14.off the back of a home win in Newcastle. The Heineken cup looms.

:24:14. > :24:23.The Panthers are looking in very good nick but Belfast are the next

:24:23. > :24:28.visitors to the arena. Super featherweight level fights.

:24:29. > :24:32.All the best to everyone taking part in the Robin Hood Marathon. We know

:24:32. > :24:36.how much you put into it. They do us all proud.

:24:36. > :24:43.Whatever you're doing, sporting wise, it is going to be.

:24:43. > :24:45.We have to say, special good luck to John Hyslop, who you saw earlier, in

:24:46. > :24:52.the marathon. He is running for a good cause. So

:24:52. > :24:56.are others. Good luck. You will notice that they are in

:24:56. > :24:59.pink! That is not unusual.

:24:59. > :25:05.We will not give away things at that.

:25:05. > :25:09.Let's have a look at the weather. Such a big sporting weekend and the

:25:09. > :25:11.weather is coming up big time as well, I am pleased to say. With

:25:11. > :25:14.plenty of sunny weather, that is what we got earlier also. The

:25:14. > :25:18.temperatures got to around 18. Temperatures over the weekend are

:25:18. > :25:26.looking pretty good. Staying dry also. A bit of a breezy time. As far

:25:26. > :25:30.as this evening, I dare say it could even be barbecue weather, fingers

:25:30. > :25:34.crossed! Going into the early hours of Saturday, under those clear

:25:34. > :25:38.skies, that will mean that the temperatures will plummet. Pretty

:25:38. > :25:44.much widespread across the East Midlands, doughnut around single

:25:44. > :25:47.figures. That is your towns and cities at ten but really it is

:25:47. > :25:53.definitely single figures. As for tomorrow, we are in a little pocket

:25:53. > :25:59.of settled weather and that is very good news for us. As far as going

:25:59. > :26:04.through to the football, that is the important thing, kick at the

:26:04. > :26:10.ground, 1215. It will be dry and buy it and not too badly drawn. Here is

:26:10. > :26:14.what it looks like on the radar. Plenty of bright and sunny weather

:26:14. > :26:16.with a little bit of cloud creeping into parts of Leicestershire as we

:26:16. > :26:20.make our way and the last part of this afternoon. —— the afternoon.

:26:20. > :26:26.The temperatures are up to around 19 Celsius which is a touch more than

:26:26. > :26:29.the average. If you can get yourself a little bit of an isolated sun

:26:29. > :26:32.trap, it might get a little bit higher. Through into Sunday, I

:26:32. > :26:34.mentioned it would be breezy throughout the weekend. It will be

:26:34. > :26:38.noticeably more so on Sunday afternoon. It is the Robin Hood

:26:39. > :26:42.Marathon in Nottingham. Looks like it will be a little bit of the cool

:26:42. > :26:46.start after that cold night on Saturday. He will be pleased to hear

:26:46. > :26:51.that it is bright, dry and sunny as well. I did mention that it would be

:26:51. > :26:57.quite breezy. I hope that Breeze is behind you, rather than running into

:26:57. > :27:04.it for your sake stop the low pressure is making its way in but it

:27:04. > :27:08.will turn into drizzle as it gets the words of an East Midlands. It

:27:08. > :27:13.stays dry, bright and settled in the can. Best of luck for the marathon.

:27:13. > :27:20.All—rounder to yours for a barbecue! I am fixated. A good idea. Nice to

:27:20. > :27:24.end on a nice weather forecast. Good luck to everybody. When Mike indeed.

:27:24. > :27:25.We will see you this weekend. Goodbye.
