:00:19. > :00:22.Midlands, I'm Maurice Flynn. Former classmates of a young man who's been

:00:23. > :00:25.missing now in Derby for three weeks, have been handing out

:00:26. > :00:28.leaflets in the city today. They've also been filming their own appeal

:00:29. > :00:36.for information about the disappearance of 20`year`old Nadish

:00:37. > :00:40.Kunwar. Carol Hinds has more. Family and friends have been

:00:41. > :00:43.searching for Nadish Kunwar since the end of January. The 20`year`old

:00:44. > :00:48.studied media production at Derby College, and this afternoon his

:00:49. > :00:54.former classmates were handing out leaflets. We are just hoping he is

:00:55. > :00:58.safe. We're just hoping someone might have some information that

:00:59. > :01:03.might help him. He went missing after a night out in the city centre

:01:04. > :01:08.three weeks ago today. CCTV records in setting out on his journey home.

:01:09. > :01:12.It is totally out of character for him, he always let everyone know

:01:13. > :01:17.where he is, it is really unusual that he has gone missing and we are

:01:18. > :01:20.concerned for him. His friends are making a short video which will be

:01:21. > :01:24.posted on social media website. They want to get as much public attention

:01:25. > :01:27.as possible because they are desperate to find him.

:01:28. > :01:30.Hospital staff working in some parts of the Leicester Royal Infirmary

:01:31. > :01:34.have had to be vaccinated against swine flu after an outbreak of the

:01:35. > :01:38.virus on a children's ward. It affected six children on Ward 12

:01:39. > :01:41.earlier this week. The unit was closed temporarily, but has since

:01:42. > :01:45.reopened. All the children infected are said to be recovering. At this

:01:46. > :01:48.stage, it's believed the outbreak came from a visitor to the hospital.

:01:49. > :01:53.Lincolnshire Police say two rallies in Grantham today have passed off

:01:54. > :01:55.peacefully. 250 officers from five forces escorted protestors from the

:01:56. > :01:59.English Defence League as they marched to voice their opposition to

:02:00. > :02:05.plans for an Islamic Centre in the town. The other rally was a counter

:02:06. > :02:13.protest. Police say both were peaceful, and no arrests were made.

:02:14. > :02:17.It is a real challenge for us. We are able to organise some time in

:02:18. > :02:20.advance, which helps the cost to us. But we have got a signature can

:02:21. > :02:23.number of officers here, and that will have an impact on other places.

:02:24. > :02:27.Campaigners have been in Nottingham today calling for a region`wide

:02:28. > :02:30.payrise for workers. The TUC held a rally in the city centre, joined by

:02:31. > :02:34.the MP Lilian Greenwood. They say that while the economy has started

:02:35. > :02:37.to show signs of growth, worker's wages are still lagging far behind

:02:38. > :02:45.inflation. It's that gap they blame for the 'cost of living' crisis, as

:02:46. > :02:48.they call it. Getting a pay rise is the quickest way for people to see

:02:49. > :02:51.more money in their pockets, and people go out and spend that, and

:02:52. > :02:52.that helps create other businesses and provide other people with a

:02:53. > :02:56.salary. The 0 and provide other people with a

:02:57. > :03:00.salary. The last four years, we have seen a real incomes declining. The

:03:01. > :03:05.rise of food banks says that for everybody. One in five people are

:03:06. > :03:10.earning below the living wage. For most people the pound in the pocket

:03:11. > :03:13.is not buying people what it used to. The people of the East Midlands

:03:14. > :03:16.and the rest of the country actually need to be earning enough to be able

:03:17. > :03:20.to go out and purchase and to be able to actually live a decent life.
