:00:00. > :00:13.You can see more on all of today's stories on the BBC News Channel.

:00:14. > :00:18.With your news now for the East Midlands, I'm Maurice Flynn.

:00:19. > :00:22.A permanent tribute was unveiled today in Mansfield for a former

:00:23. > :00:26.soldier. Lee Bonsall took his own life. His family believe he suffered

:00:27. > :00:30.from post`traumatic stress disorder. Amy Harris reports.

:00:31. > :00:36.On a sunny spring morning, family and friends of Lee Bonsall gathered

:00:37. > :00:40.at Mansfield Heroes Memorial. Two years to the month after the former

:00:41. > :00:45.soldier took his own life, a stone has been laid here to remember him.

:00:46. > :00:50.It means everything. It's just lovely, just really, really nice.

:00:51. > :00:53.Makes me feel so proud. Private Bonsall served in Afghanistan but

:00:54. > :00:58.was discharged from the Army in 2007. His family believe he suffered

:00:59. > :01:04.from post`traumatic stress disorder after a friend he fought alongside

:01:05. > :01:08.was shot dead. It's really, really important that we remember people

:01:09. > :01:11.like Lee, because there are far too many people that are coming home

:01:12. > :01:17.from serving their country in war`torn places like Iraq and

:01:18. > :01:21.Afghanistan and taking their lives. This ceremony was an opportunity for

:01:22. > :01:25.those who knew Lee Bonsall best to say a final farewell, and in this

:01:26. > :01:26.quiet corner of Carr Bank Park, he will for ever be honoured alongside

:01:27. > :01:40.Mansfield's fallen heroes. Lincolnshire police say they are

:01:41. > :01:45.treating as "unexplained" the death of a man in Grantham this weekend.

:01:46. > :01:49.He was found dead inside a house on Oxford Street. Police believe the

:01:50. > :01:52.44`year`old suffered a head injury. It will be decided this week if

:01:53. > :01:56.buses will be allowed into Loughborough's newly revamped town

:01:57. > :01:59.centre, even on a trial basis. Jo Healey reports.

:02:00. > :02:04.Buses are welcome into Loughborough, just not through its marketplace.

:02:05. > :02:07.The town is undergoing a ?20 million face`lift, and most people living

:02:08. > :02:12.here want the centre to be fully pedestrianised. We've got the old

:02:13. > :02:15.side over here, which is Churchgate, who are complaining there's not

:02:16. > :02:18.enough business for them, and then you've got buses running through

:02:19. > :02:23.here, 49 an hour, which are trundling down the high street at a

:02:24. > :02:26.rate of knots. So we're trying to make the town centre a better,

:02:27. > :02:30.safer, more beautiful place to live in. Their bid is backed by retail

:02:31. > :02:36.guru Mary Portas, and 1,300 people answered a county council survey.

:02:37. > :02:40.The responses showed that just over 35% of people would prefer the road

:02:41. > :02:46.to stay as it is, with buses going up and down here. But more than 54%

:02:47. > :02:54.of people want the town centre to be a bus`free zone. There has to be

:02:55. > :02:57.some way that we can find it that meets what the county council needs

:02:58. > :03:01.to have as its duty as highways authority and what people in the

:03:02. > :03:08.town want. The decision on the bus trial will be made on Tuesday.

:03:09. > :03:12.Former Nottingham rugby star David Jackson led a charity cycle today

:03:13. > :03:16.ahead of afternoon's game. The group cycled 80 miles from Leeds to

:03:17. > :03:19.Nottingham before the two sides met at Meadow Lane. Money was being

:03:20. > :03:25.raised for Headway. It's after serious concussion on the pitch saw

:03:26. > :03:28.him leave the sport. I had to retire through a brain injury, and I wanted

:03:29. > :03:34.to do something for people in far worse situations than I am. I can

:03:35. > :03:37.complain about getting the odd headache and seeing stars when I'm

:03:38. > :03:43.cycling over 80 miles, but for some people, it's devastating for their

:03:44. > :03:46.life. In the game, Nottingham lost to Leeds 20`27.

:03:47. > :03:50.Nottingham Panthers crashed out of the Elite League play`offs this

:03:51. > :03:53.weekend after a mauling at the hands of Braehead Clan. Panthers were 4`0

:03:54. > :03:57.down after the first leg of the quarterfinals then lost 5`1 last

:03:58. > :03:59.night in the second leg. It saw them finish 9`1 on aggregate.

:04:00. > :04:02.Discussing the weekend's Football League action, Late Kick Off is here

:04:03. > :04:05.on BBC One tomorrow. Stan Collymore and Eric Steale, Derby County's

:04:06. > :04:10.goalkeeping coach, join Manish in the studio at 11:20.

:04:11. > :04:15.Now the weather, with Charlie. Good evening to you. Well, we start

:04:16. > :04:19.the night dry, but unfortunately we're probably not going to end the

:04:20. > :04:23.night dry, because as you can see, although it's clear at the moment,

:04:24. > :04:27.the cloud starts to move up from the south and in behind it some showers.

:04:28. > :04:30.Now, the majority of them are light and drizzly, but there is a chance

:04:31. > :04:34.that we might get the odd little slightly heavier pulse mixed up in

:04:35. > :04:37.there in those showers. But as you can see there from those

:04:38. > :04:41.temperatures, it is certainly going to be a mild night. As we go through

:04:42. > :04:44.into Monday, then, we have to put up with those showers through the

:04:45. > :04:48.morning. It's generally a drying theme as we go into the afternoon. I

:04:49. > :04:51.wouldn't want to guarantee a completely dry afternoon. There

:04:52. > :04:54.might be the odd spot of drizzle around, but it is mainly dry in the

:04:55. > :04:57.afternoon, if not overly bright, and that is reflected there in those

:04:58. > :05:01.temperatures. But thankfully, don't worry, things will get better as we

:05:02. > :05:10.go through the rest of the working week.

:05:11. > :05:19.The southerly winds of this weekend will maintain some warmth into next

:05:20. > :05:20.week. The air pollution index in England and Wales is set to reach
