:00:00. > :00:00.effort to put people off smoking. That is all from the BBC

:00:00. > :00:09.This is East Midlands Today. Tonight, can a Prime Ministdr's

:00:10. > :00:23.promise save our last collidry from closure? The Prime Minister promises

:00:24. > :00:29.to fight for the jobs. But nearby there is resignation. I havd met

:00:30. > :00:38.some wonderful people there. This place will be sad without the jobs.

:00:39. > :00:46.Six men arrested over us missing teenager. Plus how Prince H`rry is

:00:47. > :00:55.helping these youngsters in the inner`city. In sport, the cxcle

:00:56. > :01:11.sweeps in. Stuart Pearce is here to prove he can deliver success.

:01:12. > :01:14.Good evening. As the countdown began to the closure of the last deep mine

:01:15. > :01:17.in Nottinghamshire, the Prile Minister promised the government

:01:18. > :01:25.will everything it can to hdlp preserve jobs. 600 are under threat

:01:26. > :01:29.at Thoresby after UK Coal announced it'll shut by next Autumn. But a

:01:30. > :01:34.mining union says there's a way of keeping it open for another four

:01:35. > :01:38.years. Here's our Chief Reporter. There are no prizes for guessing

:01:39. > :01:46.what the main news is at thhs village. The closure of Thoresby

:01:47. > :01:53.after almost 90 years. The fight to save 600 jobs. And the fear of the

:01:54. > :01:57.effect it will have on this village. It has been the lifeblood of the

:01:58. > :02:04.village. I don't know where people will find work. It is such ` shame.

:02:05. > :02:10.The mining community is a slashing place. Everything will be affected.

:02:11. > :02:17.The pub and everything. 2500 people used to work there. We're not sure

:02:18. > :02:22.what will happen to our bushness. We are not sure what the knock`on

:02:23. > :02:27.effect would be. Many men travel in from the area. UK Coal says the

:02:28. > :02:30.government must provide half of a ?20 million loan to keep thd company

:02:31. > :02:33.solvent to finance a structtred closure over 18 months. This morning

:02:34. > :02:39.the Prime Minister made this pledge. We will work with them as closely as

:02:40. > :02:44.we can. I am in the business of trying to save jobs and makd sure we

:02:45. > :02:49.have diverse suppliers of energy. If we can help, we will. But the unions

:02:50. > :02:53.say there is a way for the pit to stay open for another four xears.

:02:54. > :02:56.They want the Government to bid for European state aid to pay for a

:02:57. > :02:58.longer closure period. We wdre in Brussels yesterday. We were told

:02:59. > :03:06.that the British government could apply. That would run this line and

:03:07. > :03:12.another one out until the end of 2018. But the local MP who has been

:03:13. > :03:16.in talks with ministers and UK Coal for six weeks is sceptical. I am not

:03:17. > :03:20.confident we can do that, to be honest. I will keep pressurd on the

:03:21. > :03:25.minister to look at all opthons If the global price of coal picks up,

:03:26. > :03:31.then it remains economicallx viable to keep the pit open with a without

:03:32. > :03:34.government support. The 45 day consultation began today and with it

:03:35. > :03:37.the countdown to closure. Whthin 18 months, the headstock wheels are

:03:38. > :03:41.expected to stop spinning after 90 years.

:03:42. > :03:46.Next, a dramatic twist in the police search for a missing 15`year`old

:03:47. > :03:51.girl. Officers looking for @na Simeonova have arrested six men Our

:03:52. > :04:01.reporter is in the centre of Leicester and has the latest now.

:04:02. > :04:04.Good evening. This is the ldast circle area of Leicester were Ana

:04:05. > :04:10.Simeonova was last seen on Tuesday of last week. She is 15 years old

:04:11. > :04:15.but I'm told she appears to be older than that. Police have issudd this

:04:16. > :04:20.picture from two years ago. When last seen, she was in a black jumper

:04:21. > :04:25.with black leggings. She spdaks Polish and Turkish. Police have

:04:26. > :04:30.revealed they have arrested six men from Leicester, aged between 19 and

:04:31. > :04:35.35, in connection with her disappearance. So far, five have

:04:36. > :04:40.been released on bail. Officers say this is still a missing persons

:04:41. > :04:43.investigation. They have carried out house`to`house enquiries in this

:04:44. > :04:49.area tonight. The longer th`t Ana Simeonova remains missing, they are

:04:50. > :04:54.becoming increasingly worridd that she has become the victim of some

:04:55. > :04:58.kind of crime. We are clearly very concerned about this 15`year`old

:04:59. > :05:03.girl who has only been in the country for five weeks. She doesn't

:05:04. > :05:08.speak English. She is clearly vulnerable for any one of those

:05:09. > :05:11.reasons. We are moving into the 10th day of the investigation and that is

:05:12. > :05:18.a long time for a young person to be missing. Ana Simeonova had only

:05:19. > :05:22.recently come to Leicester from Poland. Officers are appealhng to

:05:23. > :05:29.all communities in the city and beyond for information. You can

:05:30. > :05:41.contact the police on 101. Or the European missing children hotline.

:05:42. > :05:44.That is 116,000. A 31`year`old man has been jailed

:05:45. > :05:47.for eight years and banned from driving for ten following the death

:05:48. > :05:50.of a teenager in a smash. 18`year`old Olivia Flanagan died

:05:51. > :05:53.after the crash at Coalvilld in Leicestershire, just a few weeks

:05:54. > :05:56.before Christmas last year. Luke Sykes of Coleorton pleaded guilty to

:05:57. > :05:59.drink driving and causing ddath by dangerous driving. The court heard

:06:00. > :06:12.he had only just had his licence returned following a previots ban.

:06:13. > :06:15.Still to come: What goes on in a teenager's brain? Researchers are

:06:16. > :06:25.using special scans to try to find out and improve the mental health of

:06:26. > :06:28.young people. A man from Leicestershire who has

:06:29. > :06:36.cystic fibrosis says the current levels of air pollution mean he is

:06:37. > :06:41.unable to leave his home. M`rius Gregory from Stoney Stanton is now

:06:42. > :06:44.on oxygen 24 hours a day. Experts say the pollution levels have been

:06:45. > :06:46.high again and could continte to rise through this evening. Dast

:06:47. > :06:50.Midlands Ambulance Service says there has been a 10% rise in the

:06:51. > :06:59.number of 999 calls from people reporting breathing problems.

:07:00. > :07:04.Another day and yet more pollution. In the countryside as well `s in our

:07:05. > :07:09.cities, picture is the same. For most of us, it is a talking point.

:07:10. > :07:15.For Marius Gregory, it is lhfe changing. He has cystic fibrosis.

:07:16. > :07:20.His lung capacity is 30%. The pollution is having a big ilpact.

:07:21. > :07:34.Since yesterday morning, I have had the oxygen on. It has been puite

:07:35. > :07:39.shimmered. Mariusz Gregory hs not the only one affected. The @mbulance

:07:40. > :07:44.Service has said there has been a 10% increase in calls of people

:07:45. > :07:49.stating breathing difficulthes. It is quite unusual to have all of

:07:50. > :07:55.these factors at the same thme. It is worth some special measures this

:07:56. > :08:01.week to minimise the risk you have. My chest is very tight. I whll not

:08:02. > :08:07.go out unless there is an elergency. Otherwise, if I need somethhng from

:08:08. > :08:12.the shop, I will get my pardnts are my fiance to go. Unless it hs

:08:13. > :08:21.essential, I will not be le`ving this house. This is the first time I

:08:22. > :08:31.have notice this due to the weather that I have needed the oxygdn. I am

:08:32. > :08:35.breathless even sitting down. As Mariusz Gregory rests at hole, the

:08:36. > :08:41.pollution is slowly moving. Tomorrow, levels are expectdd to

:08:42. > :08:45.fall. Fill weather forecast later.

:08:46. > :08:48.Now a royal exclusive. East Midlands Today can reveal that Princd Harry

:08:49. > :08:53.is helping inner`city youngsters to get jobs in the movie industry. It

:08:54. > :09:00.follows a visit he made to St Anns in Nottingham. His charity has

:09:01. > :09:03.agreed to fund a new film production and mentoring programme. Thd details

:09:04. > :09:08.are being unveiled this evening at a local music studio. Our Sochal

:09:09. > :09:12.Affairs Correspondent reports. It is almost a year Prince Harry was

:09:13. > :09:14.welcomed to St Anns to one of the East Midlands most deprived

:09:15. > :09:18.neighbourhoods. But this wasn't just a Royal Visit. It was fact`finding

:09:19. > :09:23.mission. And now his charitx's finalising a plan to invest in

:09:24. > :09:27.practical support. Jourdan hs one of five new youth mentors who `re being

:09:28. > :09:30.employed here, with money from the Royal Foundation. He has just been

:09:31. > :09:36.down to Buckingham Palace to discuss the charity's plans with Prhnce

:09:37. > :09:39.Harry over dinner. Harry was at the head of our table. He is passionate

:09:40. > :09:45.about this. He wanted to be a successful stop this project is like

:09:46. > :09:48.his baby. He wanted to work. And today thousands of pounds of new

:09:49. > :09:51.musical equipment arrived hdre at the Community Recording Studio. It

:09:52. > :09:56.is being funded by the Royal Foundation. Part of a film `nd music

:09:57. > :10:03.training project, for 16 to 25`year`olds. It is learning how to

:10:04. > :10:09.write a script, how to record a film, how to do a camera and the

:10:10. > :10:17.soundtrack and then launch `n. We will have apprenticeships in

:10:18. > :10:20.industry leading companies. It is all about turning round an `rea that

:10:21. > :10:23.used to be renowned for drugs and crime. And tackling violent gang

:10:24. > :10:25.culture, by creating positive opportunities instead. Many people

:10:26. > :10:33.get frustrated. They want to do something with your life, btt they

:10:34. > :10:36.end up going astray. There have been times when there is no one to turn

:10:37. > :10:41.to apart from my peers who `re going through the same thing. It hs like

:10:42. > :10:43.the blind leading the blind. This is about changing lives. Princd Harry's

:10:44. > :10:48.charity is expecting to spend a substantial sum of money in St Anns,

:10:49. > :10:50.over the next year. It is also going to fund mentors at local prhmary

:10:51. > :10:55.schools. An investment by royal appointment that could make a

:10:56. > :10:57.long`term difference. 150 soldiers marched though

:10:58. > :11:01.Mansfield in Nottinghamshird today, after being granted the Freddom of

:11:02. > :11:04.the Town. The 2nd Battalion of The Mercian Regiment were greetdd by

:11:05. > :11:10.applause from shoppers as they paraded through the streets and then

:11:11. > :11:13.around the town square. The Lord Lieutenant of the County and the

:11:14. > :11:21.Mayor of Mansfield took a s`lute from the battalion.

:11:22. > :11:26.Teenagers often feel that nobody understands them. Now researchers

:11:27. > :11:32.are trying to do just that, by scanning their brains. The project

:11:33. > :11:35.at the University of Nottingham is re`scanning volunteers who were last

:11:36. > :11:38.seen four years ago. The sttdy hopes to find out how to improve the

:11:39. > :11:43.mental health of teenagers `nd how their brains change has thex grow

:11:44. > :11:47.up. Many of us have experienced being a

:11:48. > :11:54.moody teenager, or being thd parent of one. What makes a teenagd brain

:11:55. > :12:04.tick? We could be closer to finding out. Conner was last in an LRI

:12:05. > :12:08.scanner four years ago. Now aged 18 he's back for the next part of the

:12:09. > :12:12.study. 2,000 teenagers are having their brains scanned at universities

:12:13. > :12:22.across Europe. Here in Notthngham, researchers give the voluntders

:12:23. > :12:26.tasks to stimulate their br`ins Everything that appears on this

:12:27. > :12:33.screen, he is seeing through the goggles in there. A series of three

:12:34. > :12:38.shapes, for instance this triangle. They tell him how many points he can

:12:39. > :12:43.win if he presses a button when the square appears on the screen. I did

:12:44. > :12:47.it as I grew the 14`year`old because I knew there was eye`catching

:12:48. > :12:52.centre. I wanted to keep gohng because the project is investigating

:12:53. > :13:03.different behavioural traits in teenagers that is using acttal brain

:13:04. > :13:06.scanning. Early results frol a previous study show that wolen who

:13:07. > :13:10.smoke when pregnant may havd children that are more likely to

:13:11. > :13:15.experiment with drugs. Hopefully this will enable us to look for risk

:13:16. > :13:19.factors because the onset of a lot of mental illnesses happens before

:13:20. > :13:22.it the age of 24. Volunteers also watch the faces of people whth

:13:23. > :13:25.angry, neutral and happy faces to gauge their reactions. The

:13:26. > :13:29.rescanning is due to be finhshed in around a year, when we may know more

:13:30. > :13:40.about what's going on insidd teenagers minds.

:13:41. > :13:45.We're getting reports of an explosion on London Road in

:13:46. > :13:49.Leicester. Police say it is an electricity explosion. Roads in the

:13:50. > :13:57.area are closed and police `re asking people to avoid the `rea

:13:58. > :14:00.More on this as an when we get it. `` as and when.

:14:01. > :14:03.A Derbyshire firm is leading a scheme to recruit apprenticds to

:14:04. > :14:07.make steam boilers for trains and ships. It's a trade that allost died

:14:08. > :14:10.out in the 1960s. But with revived interest in steam power the firm's

:14:11. > :14:14.benefiting from part of a ?400, 00 lottery grant to continue the

:14:15. > :14:17.tradition. At Israel Newton's works at

:14:18. > :14:26.Cromford, it is red hot work producing parts for a new boiler.

:14:27. > :14:31.Traditional boilers, and thts boiler making. This was the Derby loco

:14:32. > :14:35.works pre Second World War. It almost disappeared with the death of

:14:36. > :14:39.steam on British rail in thd 19 0s. You might think this kind of heavy

:14:40. > :14:44.engineering is dying out, btt there are 6000 boilers around the country

:14:45. > :14:46.at 200 heritage centres. It is still needed. And the 200`year`old

:14:47. > :14:58.Derbyshire company is benefhtting from that heritage steam resurgence.

:14:59. > :15:04.There are lots of railways tsing steam locomotives. They havd to be

:15:05. > :15:07.repaired. The problem is th`t older people like myself are retiring and

:15:08. > :15:11.we want to pass on our knowledge to young people. Now, apprenticeships

:15:12. > :15:15.for boiler makers are back `fter 50 years. Israel Newton will t`ke on

:15:16. > :15:17.two new apprentices out of 06 nationally, all paid for by a

:15:18. > :15:22.?469,000 grant from the Herhtage Lottery Fund. 17`year`old apprentice

:15:23. > :15:29.Tom has already joined, driven by his interest in this tradithonal

:15:30. > :15:35.art. I always wanted my own steam engine from when I was very little.

:15:36. > :15:41.I couldn't afford one. I saw this company and decided to e`mahl them

:15:42. > :15:49.to ask about an apprenticeship. Now I am on an apprenticeship scheme is

:15:50. > :15:52.a boilermaker. And what better endorsement for this trade than from

:15:53. > :15:57.the son of the immortal Fred Dibnah, now an engineer here, himself? It is

:15:58. > :16:03.only dying out. But people here are keeping it going. Lots of pdople

:16:04. > :16:06.have this as a hobby as well as they apprenticeships.

:16:07. > :16:11.Still to come: what makes a Midlander? Plenty of famous people

:16:12. > :16:14.were born and brought up here, but a new book claims we're much

:16:15. > :16:26.misunderstood. We'll Meet the Author later.

:16:27. > :16:29.Time for the sport. Lots gohng on at City Ground.

:16:30. > :16:33.So finally Nottingham Forest have a new manager. 11 days after Billy

:16:34. > :16:37.Davies was sacked Reds legend Stuart Pearce has agreed to take over. A

:16:38. > :16:42.two year deal has been signdd by the man the fans knew as Psycho. Angela

:16:43. > :16:55.has spent the day at the city Ground.

:16:56. > :16:59.Here's a Nottingham Forest legend and now he is back. Stuart Pearce

:17:00. > :17:04.out to prove he can succeed where others have failed and finally

:17:05. > :17:10.deliver success at the city Ground. This is a massive honour. I am

:17:11. > :17:17.acutely aware of what I havd done here as a player is irrelev`nt. It

:17:18. > :17:23.is what I do on the first d`y in July to make the man on my left very

:17:24. > :17:34.proud and feel he has delivdred the correct person. Keane knows what to

:17:35. > :17:38.expect. I am a manager and H will select the team. I give the go`ahead

:17:39. > :17:45.for those who leave and those who join us. Also the dressing room

:17:46. > :17:49.situation. That is non`negotiable. Beyond that, I want as much

:17:50. > :17:55.involvement as possible frol the chairman. I look forward to working

:17:56. > :18:01.with him. Do you hope he is your last manager, this fifth ond? I hope

:18:02. > :18:07.so. Everybody is happy that he is with us. The fans are happy to have

:18:08. > :18:13.him back with us. The fans will support him. I think this whll go

:18:14. > :18:18.well. There is a lot of expdctation on his shoulders. He is a ldgend

:18:19. > :18:24.here. I hope it goes right for him. It is nice to have him back. He has

:18:25. > :18:30.managed at Manchester city `nd England under 21 is, this job means

:18:31. > :18:34.a lot. To have the opportunhty of coming into this football club and

:18:35. > :18:45.seeing the multi`from the w`ll inspires me. Will you introduce punk

:18:46. > :18:50.rock into the dressing room? It will be on my iPod, but if the players

:18:51. > :18:59.want to pick that idea up and run with it, I am happy with th`t.

:19:00. > :19:02.Onto Leicester City where Nhgel Pearson has been nominated for the

:19:03. > :19:06.Championship Manager of the Month award yet again. Pearson guhded the

:19:07. > :19:08.Foxes to four wins and two draws in March.

:19:09. > :19:11.As for Derby County. Well, looking at the league table you certainly

:19:12. > :19:15.wouldn't bet against them m`king the play`offs. And if they do, the

:19:16. > :19:18.club's confirmed they will be able to hold on to their loanees like

:19:19. > :19:21.Patrick Bamford and Andre Whsdom. Captain Richard Keogh says ht's

:19:22. > :19:22.important they keep the squ`d together.

:19:23. > :19:25.Every time you step out on that line, we work hard for each other. I

:19:26. > :19:28.think that is important. Yot have a strong dressing room and we have a

:19:29. > :19:30.good mix of experienced plaxers and young players. They will pull each

:19:31. > :19:33.other through. That is really positive news. That is important.

:19:34. > :19:36.In League One, Notts County manager Shaun Derry has called on hhs

:19:37. > :19:40.players to motivate themselves for the last few games of the sdason.

:19:41. > :19:43.The Magpies are on the vergd of what they've branded a "Great Escape

:19:44. > :19:46.after winning three games rtnning and lifting themselves out of the

:19:47. > :19:51.relegation zone. Ultimately, it comes from whthin. As

:19:52. > :19:56.the penny dropped the Mac I hope it has, I hope it has. They have

:19:57. > :19:59.realised of late they are in a massive problem and they have got

:20:00. > :20:11.themselves out of it in the last three games. Let's hope that

:20:12. > :20:16.continues over the remaining games. `` has the penny dropped? I hope it

:20:17. > :20:19.has. Now to the young woman from

:20:20. > :20:23.Leicestershire who's amongst the best in one of the toughest of

:20:24. > :20:26.sports. Lucy Hall is in New Zealand for the start of the World Triathlon

:20:27. > :20:30.series. It's the first test for Lucy since she took the decision to leave

:20:31. > :20:34.her home county to train with the likes of Alistair and Jonny Brownlee

:20:35. > :20:36.in Yorkshire. Our reporter has been to see her.

:20:37. > :20:43.I am from Leicester. It is time for me to try new things. I movdd to

:20:44. > :20:51.Leeds. I have changed coachds and training squads. I am 22 ye`rs old

:20:52. > :20:57.now. I am still learning. I want to learn from the best and try to be

:20:58. > :21:08.the best. Stronger, faster, better... On her bike and in the

:21:09. > :21:12.water, Lucy Hall is a match for most in the world. To becomd a

:21:13. > :21:17.champion, she will need to hmprove her running. My running will take a

:21:18. > :21:26.long time to develop. I am not from a running background. I havd been

:21:27. > :21:31.told I have to be patient. Telling any athlete to be patient is

:21:32. > :21:37.difficult. We are always wanting more. We crave to be the best. Lucy

:21:38. > :21:42.was a surprise member of thd London Olympic team. The season, she hopes

:21:43. > :21:47.to make the Commonwealth Gales in Glasgow and perform well in the

:21:48. > :21:52.World Series. I think just knowing that physically, mentally,

:21:53. > :22:01.tactfully, I have given it ly all. Podium medal is just a bonus? All my

:22:02. > :22:10.God! That would be great if it happened. Let's just see how things

:22:11. > :22:13.go. Big game at Leicester City tomorrow.

:22:14. > :22:16.We all know that life can bd confusing at times. But if xou live

:22:17. > :22:23.in the Midlands you're apparently very confused all of the tile. A new

:22:24. > :22:26.book claims that Midlanders have no idea of their image or heritage

:22:27. > :22:29.while Northerners and those from the South have a strong sense of

:22:30. > :22:33.identity. In other words, they shout about their achievements and we

:22:34. > :22:36.don't. So what should we be be proud of. Here are just a few exalples.

:22:37. > :22:55.Issac Newton ` arguably the world's greatest scientist. Lord Byron `

:22:56. > :23:05.infamous Romantic poet. Jesse Boot. Frank Whittle ` inventor of the jet

:23:06. > :23:14.engine. Pork Pie. Bramley Apple Stilton. Rolls Royce ` an

:23:15. > :23:19.international brand. DH Lawrence ` the Nottinghamshire author. A sock

:23:20. > :23:27.with the instantly`recognis`ble stripes from Paul Smith.

:23:28. > :23:31.So does the midlands get a raw deal ` author Robert Shore thinks so `

:23:32. > :23:35.and his book on the subject comes out next week ` Bang in the Middle

:23:36. > :23:38.explores just what our part of the country has given to the world. It

:23:39. > :23:41.is the birthplace of modern democracy in British art. It is the

:23:42. > :23:46.birthplace of most of the things that people not from the Midlands

:23:47. > :23:50.and possibly not from England tend to like about England actually think

:23:51. > :23:56.of as typically English in ` good way, that is. But if you look at

:23:57. > :24:02.your average travel guide, then about half of the pages go to the

:24:03. > :24:08.South, then two thirds of what is left goes to the north. The last few

:24:09. > :24:13.pages go to the Midlands. Why do you think we are so hard done bx? We are

:24:14. > :24:18.not very good about talking about ourselves. We have big roads that

:24:19. > :24:22.goes straight through. We h`ve big train connections. People tdnd to

:24:23. > :24:25.see us as a stopping off pohnt on the way to somewhere with a more

:24:26. > :24:34.distinctive character. One reason is we are not very good at takhng on

:24:35. > :24:43.the name Midlands as somethhng slightly bigger than just Ldicester

:24:44. > :24:49.or Nottingham. What about pttting up a border to declare independence? I

:24:50. > :24:55.am not sure that is a good hdea But the North gets quite a lot of

:24:56. > :25:00.identity from the fact that people from cities that have an intense

:25:01. > :25:05.rivalry, such as Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle, ard all

:25:06. > :25:13.proud Northerners. Winners H don't think that works in the Midlands.

:25:14. > :25:21.Yes, there is some rivalry. We have delivered there. That is

:25:22. > :25:26.fascinating. The weather has been very gloomy and

:25:27. > :25:29.dull. Let's first they talk about pollution. The levels have reached

:25:30. > :25:34.high during the afternoon in parts of the East Midlands. The good news

:25:35. > :25:38.is it will be improving for tomorrow. The reason for thd

:25:39. > :25:47.pollution has been recently we have had the Saharan dust. Ones that

:25:48. > :25:51.clears into the North Sea, we will start to see the wind changd in

:25:52. > :25:56.direction to a south`westerly. What that will do is it starts to push in

:25:57. > :26:01.much cleaner air. Effectively clearing the pollution during the

:26:02. > :26:08.day on Friday. If you have had some effect is from it, the good news is

:26:09. > :26:16.it is an improvement. There has been an improvement in the fields. We

:26:17. > :26:19.keep hold of a lot of cloud and there will be some patchy r`in

:26:20. > :26:25.around. It is really quite light rain at the moment. As we go through

:26:26. > :26:30.the night, Maureen for a tile before it starts to clear away to the

:26:31. > :26:34.North. A lot of cloud around and some missed forming by Don. On mild

:26:35. > :26:42.night threw out with lows of eight Celsius. Friday morning will start

:26:43. > :26:46.dull and cloudy. The cloud should at least then to give us some

:26:47. > :26:51.brightness into the afternoon. If we are lucky, we might see the odd

:26:52. > :26:57.sunny spell. We have the brhghtness, Thames just reaching 14 Celsius

:26:58. > :27:03.Looking at the weekend, Sattrday doesn't look too bad. Starts off

:27:04. > :27:08.fairly bright. We start to see cloud increasing from the West as we go

:27:09. > :27:12.through the day on Saturday. Maybe a little rain to end the day. On the

:27:13. > :27:23.whole, dry and temperatures still in the mid teens. Were expecting

:27:24. > :27:28.temperatures to be decent on Sunday. A little colour and unsettldd as we

:27:29. > :27:34.go into Monday. To be Capcol pollution levels are high btt will

:27:35. > :27:38.improve overnight and into tomorrow. That is good news because it has

:27:39. > :27:44.been uncomfortable for many today. Relief is on the way.

:27:45. > :27:48.We are back at 10:25pm. Enjoy your evening. Goodbye.
