:00:00. > :00:13.the evening on the BBC News Channel. And I'll be back with

:00:14. > :00:20.With your news now for the East Midlands, I'm Maurice Flynn.

:00:21. > :00:23.First tonight, the police are investigating the death of a woman

:00:24. > :00:26.in Derby. Her body was found this morning on Hartington Street by a

:00:27. > :00:29.passer`by. Her death is being treated as suspicious. The area has

:00:30. > :00:32.been cordoned off, while forensic examinations continue.

:00:33. > :00:36.Police are also investigating the death of a man found in a derelict

:00:37. > :00:39.building in Nottingham this weekend. His body was found on land on

:00:40. > :00:43.Sneinton Hermitage off Manvers Street. The police have not yet

:00:44. > :00:47.identified him nor released any information about how he died.

:00:48. > :00:50.Villagers living near an animal waste processing plant are

:00:51. > :00:55.threatening to sue the company if it fails to reduce the smells coming

:00:56. > :00:58.from the site. The factory at Low Marnham near Newark processes animal

:00:59. > :01:02.remains left over from the meat industry. It says it's operating

:01:03. > :01:07.within all laws and standards and is in the process of installing a new

:01:08. > :01:10.system to burn off the odour. Residents say the smell is

:01:11. > :01:14.unbearable. We are used to factories, we are

:01:15. > :01:18.used to smells. We have the Newark factory that we get a smell from, we

:01:19. > :01:21.have fertilisers. But this is a completely different smell. It is

:01:22. > :01:25.vile. Meaty yoghurt. It's a smell that you can taste. It lingers and

:01:26. > :01:32.it lingers for hours. You can't get it out of your house or your body.

:01:33. > :01:35.Police searching for a teenager reported missing in Leicester say

:01:36. > :01:38.she's been found safe and well. Ana Simeonova hadn't been seen since

:01:39. > :01:41.last month. The 15`year`old handed herself into a police station last

:01:42. > :01:43.night, after being a being recognised in the street. A

:01:44. > :01:46.29`year`old man arrested in connection with the case remains in

:01:47. > :01:50.police custody. Seven other men arrested have had their police bail

:01:51. > :01:53.cancelled. The head teacher at a troubled

:01:54. > :01:57.junior school in Leicester has resigned. Tim Luckcock was suspended

:01:58. > :02:02.from Uplands Junior School, in the Highfields, last September. The

:02:03. > :02:06.governors were also removed over concerns about how the school was

:02:07. > :02:10.being run. A spokesperson for Leicester City Council says it will

:02:11. > :02:13.now recruit a permanent head. Official celebration plans for

:02:14. > :02:16.Leicester City's promotion to the Premier League are yet to be

:02:17. > :02:19.announced, but that hasn't stopped the fans or players. They've been

:02:20. > :02:24.enjoying the news that the Foxes will start next season back in the

:02:25. > :02:27.top flight. With more on that and the rest of the weekend's football,

:02:28. > :02:30.here's Kirsty Edwards. Captured on camera, the moment the

:02:31. > :02:34.Leicester players found out they had been promoted. Just like the fans,

:02:35. > :02:37.they had been watching the results come in yesterday, with scorelines

:02:38. > :02:42.going their way in the games involving QPR and Derby. It had all

:02:43. > :02:45.been made possible after the Foxes' game on Friday night, Riyad Mahrez's

:02:46. > :02:50.goal setting them on their way to a win over Sheffield Wednesday. The

:02:51. > :02:54.visitors had made it all square for a time but Leicester had been so

:02:55. > :02:57.resilient this season and a brilliant Anthony Knockaert free

:02:58. > :03:04.kick in the second half sealed the 2`1 win. It was a win leaving the

:03:05. > :03:08.team looking forward to the Premier League. It's fantastic for the boys,

:03:09. > :03:13.and credit to the manager as well. He has picked the right team and he

:03:14. > :03:16.has got the boys going. It has not been easy games every game.

:03:17. > :03:19.Sometimes you have to dig in, sometimes it's been comfortable.

:03:20. > :03:23.It's been fantastic. And I'm proud to represent Leicester and be the

:03:24. > :03:27.captain. Look at this here at the King Power Stadium today. The shirts

:03:28. > :03:30.are already printed up. And no wonder. After a ten year absence,

:03:31. > :03:35.top`flight football is returning to Leicester.

:03:36. > :03:39.Elsewhere, Derby County are hoping they can join Leicester. They are

:03:40. > :03:42.still firmly in the play`offs despite falling to a 1`0 defeat to

:03:43. > :03:45.Middlesbrough yesterday. Nottingham Forest are now five

:03:46. > :03:49.points off the play`off places, a Jara own goal setting them on their

:03:50. > :03:54.way to a 2`1 defeat at home to Millwall. Jamie Paterson's

:03:55. > :03:58.second`half goal turning out to be a mere consolation.

:03:59. > :04:02.Notts County found themselves down to ten men at Brentford with Haydn

:04:03. > :04:06.Hollis sent off and giving away a penalty just half an hour in. Former

:04:07. > :04:10.Notts man Alan Judge scored twice for the home side with Jimmy

:04:11. > :04:15.Spencer's goal not enough to stop Notts slipping back into the

:04:16. > :04:18.relegation zone. No such problems for Mansfield Town,

:04:19. > :04:27.a great free kick from Colin Daniel earning them a win over Morecambe.

:04:28. > :04:32.Despite being wet at times, and cold, around 5000 people took part

:04:33. > :04:35.in today's 10K in Derby. This year's event included an elite wheelchair

:04:36. > :04:38.category for the first time. Among competitors was Baroness Tanni

:04:39. > :04:43.Grey`Thompson and Phil Hogg from Heanor, who went on to win the race

:04:44. > :04:47.in under 28 minutes. We train hard, we train really hard.

:04:48. > :04:51.I train twice a day, seven days a week. For us to be able to race on

:04:52. > :04:54.home soil, it is eight miles away from where I live, it's pretty

:04:55. > :04:58.important. This is the first time we've done the 10K wheelchair race

:04:59. > :05:01.and we're into double figures. If you look at comparable events in the

:05:02. > :05:06.country, some don't achieve that. So for us to do that in all our first

:05:07. > :05:09.year is quite exceptional. Let's check the latest on the

:05:10. > :05:11.weather now. Charlie has our forecast.

:05:12. > :05:16.Good evening. Well, a showery evening will turn into a rather wet

:05:17. > :05:20.night once we get into the early hours of Monday morning. You can see

:05:21. > :05:24.some showers creeping up. Then the rain will start to move in. It might

:05:25. > :05:28.turn heavy for some of us just before dawn on a very mild night.

:05:29. > :05:31.The rest of the rain spreads in with earnest as we go through rush hour,

:05:32. > :05:35.turning very heavy for a time indeed. It won't be a pleasant day

:05:36. > :05:39.through the first part of it. It will slowly start to dry out into

:05:40. > :05:43.the afternoon. There is good news to come. High pressure will build

:05:44. > :05:47.itself nicely into play for Tuesday. That will make sure we see the

:05:48. > :05:50.weather return to a drier and more settled path. However it will just

:05:51. > :06:03.be a little bit cooler. More at 22.15.

:06:04. > :06:13.Good evening, after a fairly mild weekend, a fresher week in store for

:06:14. > :06:18.the week ahead. Moreshine at times but not a huge amount tomorrow

:06:19. > :06:21.because that's shaping up to be a wet day for just about all of us.

:06:22. > :06:25.The rain developing through the night and it is still wet at the

:06:26. > :06:29.moment in southern counties. Watch how the rain becomes more extensive

:06:30. > :06:34.and heavier with a strengthening breeze. For northern England and

:06:35. > :06:42.Northern Ireland, a colder feel to the night. In northern Scotland,

:06:43. > :06:45.there will be temperatures in sheltered spots. A mild start for

:06:46. > :06:47.Monday. If you escape through
