:00:00. > :00:15.Wollaston, the MP who first brought to the attention of parliamentary

:00:16. > :00:22.First tonight, a nine`year`old boy is in a critical condition after he

:00:23. > :00:24.fell from a moving coach. It was travelling back to Stamford in

:00:25. > :00:42.Lincolnshire from a rugby tournament when the accident happened.

:00:43. > :00:47.The nine`year`old fell from the entrance door halfway along the

:00:48. > :00:51.coach, suffering severe head and leg injuries. Police confirmed they were

:00:52. > :00:56.20 children and ten adults on`board. Nobody else was injured.

:00:57. > :01:04.The boy 's parents where in the party, on their way home from

:01:05. > :01:10.playing in a rugby tournament. A police investigation is now underway

:01:11. > :01:17.into the door came open. There were some queueing inside the coach from

:01:18. > :01:23.children waiting to use the toilet. Somehow the door has come open. Any

:01:24. > :01:29.idea how this has happened? At this time, no. The boy was taken to

:01:30. > :01:36.hospital in King's Lynn and he has since been transferred to Cambridge.

:01:37. > :01:43.Their parents in the coach, they were devastated last night. They

:01:44. > :01:46.really looked visibly shocked and disturbed and it was a novel

:01:47. > :01:51.experience for them. The coach company have not commented but the

:01:52. > :01:54.Confederation of passenger transport, the body that represents

:01:55. > :01:59.coach operators says they have a fund safety record. We're not sure

:02:00. > :02:05.what has happened on this journey yesterday. Before a driver takes any

:02:06. > :02:11.vehicle out of the depot into service, a number of checks are

:02:12. > :02:14.undertaken. A look at the tyres, the safety features, the seat belt and

:02:15. > :02:20.the seats, and also the emergency doors. Police have appealed for any

:02:21. > :02:26.witnesses to contact their investigation team without delay.

:02:27. > :02:30.Millions of pounds are to be spent offering a more user`friendly

:02:31. > :02:35.service at GP's surgeries. It could mean some of them are open seven

:02:36. > :02:38.days a week and for longer hours. It is part of a government programme

:02:39. > :02:48.designed to make doctors more accessible to patients but the money

:02:49. > :02:56.is only available for a year. Just how easy do you find it to get

:02:57. > :02:58.to see your doctor? Very difficult. You can ring up for an appointment

:02:59. > :03:05.and you then have to wait three weeks. You have to wait weeks for an

:03:06. > :03:07.appointment. That may change for up to 1 million patients across

:03:08. > :03:14.Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire for one pilot year. The doctors will

:03:15. > :03:18.have access to a new ?5.2 million fund so their patients will have

:03:19. > :03:24.better access to them. For many years we just expected to people to

:03:25. > :03:27.come along in the morning and that is not always convenient for

:03:28. > :03:33.patients to do that, so I'm looking forward to seeing what successes or

:03:34. > :03:37.failures they have so we can plan accordingly. What sort of thing

:03:38. > :03:44.might you see if your GP surgery is taking part? Longer opening hours

:03:45. > :03:51.possibly from 8am until 8pm, and opening at weekend. Consultations by

:03:52. > :03:57.e`mail and even video. That is a very good idea, especially if you

:03:58. > :04:01.are working, you need to be able to access it at all sorts of times.

:04:02. > :04:08.When GP says there are not enough doctors to make seven`day working

:04:09. > :04:11.feasible long`term. Our concern is that man is being stalked and we

:04:12. > :04:19.have not got a hope in hell of being able to meet and then patients get

:04:20. > :04:22.frustrated. It is a relationship that will change with those taking

:04:23. > :04:25.part of the next year. It is impossible to know what the outcome

:04:26. > :04:30.will be. He wanted a happy ever after and now

:04:31. > :04:35.he has got it. Ady is a young boy, one of hundreds of children in care,

:04:36. > :04:38.looking for a loving family. Three years after we first featured him on

:04:39. > :04:48.East Midlands Today, he has got his wish and has started a new life with

:04:49. > :04:53.new parents. Like most ten`year`olds, Ady love

:04:54. > :04:59.playing on his computer at home but for him, having parents and a place

:05:00. > :05:02.to call home is new. I last met him three years ago, living in a

:05:03. > :05:06.children's home. Social services took the unusual step of allowing

:05:07. > :05:10.him to be on television in the hope of finding him in the family. It

:05:11. > :05:17.worked. Step forward Leanne and Barney who are now a very proud mum

:05:18. > :05:25.and dad. I know people look at him and see lots of notes but we did not

:05:26. > :05:31.ever really see that. He is so affectionate that you cannot help

:05:32. > :05:35.fall in love with him. It has taken the couple long time to be able to

:05:36. > :05:41.foster Ady. In the future, they hope to adopt him. It has taken us a year

:05:42. > :05:50.for him to move in. It has been a long journey. He has been getting to

:05:51. > :05:56.know as a gradual basis. Since moving in with them, Ady has

:05:57. > :06:02.thrived. Before we came here, on a daily basis he was walking maybe 30

:06:03. > :06:08.steps. Two weeks ago, he walked a mile for Sport Relief. He has had

:06:09. > :06:13.his feeding tube removed and he's doing it himself. It is great.

:06:14. > :06:20.Everyone speaks of what we are doing for him at for us, it is what he

:06:21. > :06:24.does for us. He has been brilliant. Sadly, there are more children like

:06:25. > :06:29.Ady who need permanent homes, homes that meet such a difference. I would

:06:30. > :06:34.not change him for the world at all. It does not matter what needs he

:06:35. > :06:40.has, I would not change him for the world. You are staying forever,

:06:41. > :06:50.Anju? That's all for now. The weather is

:06:51. > :06:53.next. High`pressure is in charge so it

:06:54. > :07:00.will be staying dry. Plenty of sunshine until Thursday. We have

:07:01. > :07:04.very indie conditions at the moment. The winds were used to night in the

:07:05. > :07:07.cloud will continue to not a way as well and that means it is quite cold

:07:08. > :07:14.tonight with temperatures down to for degrees. A cold start tomorrow

:07:15. > :07:23.but a beautiful sunny start to the day. Most of us holding onto that

:07:24. > :07:30.sunshine with highs of around 14 degrees. That's it from us, I will

:07:31. > :07:33.leave you with a look at the outlook.

:07:34. > :07:37.will be fresher than today. 12 degrees along the vestry and 16 in

:07:38. > :07:42.London. More sunshine for Wednesday and clouding over towards the end of

:07:43. > :07:44.the week. Your regional forecast will have offered you another fine

:07:45. > :07:51.day tomorrow. That is the story nationwide. High

:07:52. > :07:55.pressure is plonked on top of us. This evening it has been turning

:07:56. > :07:57.quite chilly quite quickly and it will be cold for
