:00:00. > :00:13.tomorrow. That's

:00:14. > :00:18.With your news now for the East Midlands, I'm Maurice Flynn.

:00:19. > :00:22.A two`year`old girl who's had cancer since she was 11 months old ` is

:00:23. > :00:26.back home in Nottingham after life`saving treatment in America. We

:00:27. > :00:31.last told you about Bethany Topley in February before her family flew

:00:32. > :00:38.out. Now, Tom Brown's been catching up with their progress. A

:00:39. > :00:45.well`deserved Easter treat as two`year`old Bethany enjoys life

:00:46. > :00:50.back home after 12 weeks of specialist radiotherapy in America.

:00:51. > :00:56.She was due to have 30 sessions but responded so well, she finished

:00:57. > :00:59.after 23. That was brilliant news to find out that we could come home

:01:00. > :01:04.early and see the family because they were really missing the

:01:05. > :01:08.grandparents and great grandparents. Just to know the treatment was

:01:09. > :01:17.working was brilliant news. We're very proud of she coped with it. She

:01:18. > :01:21.is braver than I could be. We last saw Bethany in February, a few days

:01:22. > :01:25.before she had left. She had stayed in the UK, it could have left

:01:26. > :01:29.needing facial reconstruction and blind in one eye, but after being

:01:30. > :01:34.funded by the NHS, she was able to have the pioneering treatment

:01:35. > :01:44.abroad. We're so grateful for the NHS for us to have that chance, an

:01:45. > :01:58.extra chance of life as such. She's as good as new? Yes. How does that

:01:59. > :02:01.make you feel? Happy! The annual Easter day service at

:02:02. > :02:09.Leicester Cathedral was broadcast to around a million people this year.

:02:10. > :02:13.After months of planning and a long day of rehearsals yesterday, the

:02:14. > :02:18.multicultural service was broadcast live on BBC One this morning. New

:02:19. > :02:20.Christians were baptised and confirmed, before 500 worshippers

:02:21. > :02:31.filled the Cathedral for the service. I think lots of people

:02:32. > :02:34.worked extremely hard, preparing the music, rehearsing the whole service,

:02:35. > :02:39.putting the whole thing together and making sure it all came together in

:02:40. > :02:44.one hour exactly, so we could go from here to Rome and to the Pope is

:02:45. > :02:52.in the world. So Lester was the warm up act for the Pope, and that was

:02:53. > :02:58.very special. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was really, really

:02:59. > :03:04.inspirational. I think it reflected some of the variety of the cultures

:03:05. > :03:07.within Leicester. We have seen some of the rehearsals, it was all very

:03:08. > :03:15.professional, lovely, nice service. Look out for more on this on our

:03:16. > :03:18.Facebook page. To sport, and it's been a good

:03:19. > :03:21.Easter for our Championship footballers with wins for all three

:03:22. > :03:24.sides. Angela Rafferty starts her round up of the bank holiday games

:03:25. > :03:30.with Derby County's Good Friday action.

:03:31. > :03:36.Derby County have done it. Their pace in the `` place in the

:03:37. > :03:43.play`offs is guaranteed. They didn't have the best start. But nerves

:03:44. > :03:47.settled, and they took the lead, George Thorne with his first for the

:03:48. > :03:52.club. Chris Martin made it 2`0, victory was no more than they

:03:53. > :03:55.deserved. Six months ago, we wouldn't have dreamt of being in

:03:56. > :03:59.this position but now we are there, we have to plan for it. Leicester

:04:00. > :04:03.City are on the brink of bagging the title thanked to do this,

:04:04. > :04:14.record`breaking 28th win of the season. All they can do is carry on

:04:15. > :04:17.winning in style. It's nice to be able to produce a season in which we

:04:18. > :04:24.can actually say that we have fulfilled our potential. Forest's

:04:25. > :04:29.win over Birmingham, their first in 13. They are within three points of

:04:30. > :04:35.the play`offs. A blow for Notts County, who went behind a battled

:04:36. > :04:39.back. Sloppy defending cost them dear. Back in the relegation zone.

:04:40. > :04:46.Mansfield were hoping for five wins in a row but Accrington had other

:04:47. > :04:48.ideas. A great start but an equaliser leaves their play`off

:04:49. > :05:00.hopes hanging by a thread. Nottinghamshire's Lee Westwood has

:05:01. > :05:03.won golf's Malaysian Open. Westwood finished at eighteen under for the

:05:04. > :05:09.tournament, seven clear of those in second. It's his 41st tour victory.

:05:10. > :05:14.Let's check the weather now for the rest of the Easter weekend.

:05:15. > :05:22.Happy Easter. Look out for some rain the next few hours. Some heavy

:05:23. > :05:28.pollsters will track their way through parts of Leicestershire and

:05:29. > :05:31.into Derbyshire as well. It is largely dry in the early hours of

:05:32. > :05:38.bank on a day Monday, we're in for a very mild night. `` bank holiday

:05:39. > :05:42.Monday. A bit of a cloudy start but as we go into the afternoon, expect

:05:43. > :05:46.to see some brightness and maybe some blue sky and sunshine, we

:05:47. > :05:49.should stay free of showers and what is going to be a very mild and maybe

:05:50. > :06:14.even warm day. Hello. Well, it was another lovely

:06:15. > :06:16.sunny day across the north of the UK. What a difference over the

:06:17. > :06:20.south. The rain set in for the course of the afternoon. There's

:06:21. > :06:25.more of that to come. It has been getting heavy across southern

:06:26. > :06:31.England. A narrow band for London, for the south Midlands, to south

:06:32. > :06:33.Wales and the south west. Lots of water on the roads. Overnight it
