:01:15. > :01:19.have a major impact on the communities that live there.

:01:20. > :01:24.Campaigners from the Living Wage Foundation bought shares in Next so

:01:25. > :01:28.they could attend today's AGM. We would like Next to become a

:01:29. > :01:34.living`wage employer. There are 700 living`wage employers in this

:01:35. > :01:38.country. Eight of them are on the FTSE 100 index. Next, though, is a

:01:39. > :01:43.retailer, and there aren't `ny retailers. Across the East Midlands,

:01:44. > :01:47.Next are employing apprentices up to and on ?4.80 per hour and there are

:01:48. > :01:51.people in full`time work on about ?6.50, so only just above the

:01:52. > :01:55.minimum wage. That's a long way from enough to get by to properly support
