:00:00. > 3:59:59full coverage on BBC One of the European election results after the

:00:00. > :00:19.news where With your news now for the East

:00:20. > :00:22.Midlands, I'm Maurice Flynn. A teacher from Leicestershire has

:00:23. > :00:26.been found dead in Bali, just days after arriving there to set up a new

:00:27. > :00:31.project. It's believed she was murdered. Emily Anderson has been

:00:32. > :00:34.speaking to her brother in Hinckley. A bright passionate and courageous

:00:35. > :00:39.woman who was an unsung hero ` just some of the words used to describe

:00:40. > :00:43.Anne`Marie Drozdz. The 49`year`old teacher had been in Bali for five

:00:44. > :00:46.days. Her body was found late on Thursday afternoon near the villa

:00:47. > :00:53.where she'd been staying in the tourist district of Ubud. `` in the

:00:54. > :00:56.villa. She grew up in Hinckley in Leicestershire. Back home her family

:00:57. > :01:00.say they are struggling to deal with what's happened.

:01:01. > :01:04.You read about it, you hear about it and you never expect it's going to

:01:05. > :01:08.happen to you. And then of course when it does it hits you like an

:01:09. > :01:12.express train. How has this left you feeling? It's almost impossible to

:01:13. > :01:19.describe. You start to feel hollow and you feel raw you don't want to

:01:20. > :01:22.do the things you normally do. Anne`Marie taught in international

:01:23. > :01:25.schools all over the world. She'd gone to Bali to set up a social

:01:26. > :01:30.enterprise because she wanted to improve the lives of young people on

:01:31. > :01:33.the island. She was courageous because she

:01:34. > :01:37.didn't choose the easy places to go and teach English. She taught in

:01:38. > :01:42.some of the more remote parts of the world, as it seems to us, and so for

:01:43. > :01:50.all of that to go is such a tragic waste of a life.

:01:51. > :01:54.Anne`Marie's family say they want her body to be brought back to the

:01:55. > :01:57.UK, with her final resting place in her hometown of Hinckley, where she

:01:58. > :02:04.can be with her family and they can be with her.

:02:05. > :02:08.The count started tonight for last week's vote in the European

:02:09. > :02:11.parliamentary elections. It was such a low turnout, the results are

:02:12. > :02:15.expected imminently, rather than overnight. Our political editor John

:02:16. > :02:21.Hess sent this as things got under way.

:02:22. > :02:29.The results from 40 counts from around the East Midlands have been

:02:30. > :02:32.fed to hear, where the names of the five MEPs to represent the East

:02:33. > :02:40.Midlands will be announced later. The turnout was low, 33.3%, and UKIP

:02:41. > :02:45.have done exceptionally well and could be returning two if not three

:02:46. > :02:49.MEPs. Labour have done well, mainly at the expense of the Lib Dems. The

:02:50. > :02:53.Conservatives are likely to see their representation in the European

:02:54. > :02:55.Parliament halved. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister David

:02:56. > :02:58.Cameron was in Nottinghamshire again today, ahead of the Newark

:02:59. > :03:01.by`election. It all draws further attention to the work of the man

:03:02. > :03:04.charged with overseeing that election. Quentin Rayner's been to

:03:05. > :03:13.meet him. When this man made this announcement

:03:14. > :03:18.at Westminster. I will resign my seat in God's County of

:03:19. > :03:25.Nottinghamshire. This man knew things would be hectic. I knew we

:03:26. > :03:33.would be in the spotlight. It is said `` his job to staff more than

:03:34. > :03:36.400 polling stations. It is daunting but tremendously exciting. I love

:03:37. > :03:43.elections so I am really looking forward to it. It is a great

:03:44. > :03:45.opportunity to show new work, show democracy and the world how it

:03:46. > :03:59.works. `` show Newark. Keyworth's Sam Oldham took Silver at

:04:00. > :04:02.the European Gymnastic Championships earlier. After a team silver

:04:03. > :04:06.yesterday, he was in the high bar's individual final. Sam was leading

:04:07. > :04:08.the field throughout, but was edged into second by the reigning European

:04:09. > :04:14.and Olympic champion from the Netherlands.

:04:15. > :04:21.The unsettled conditions continue into next week. The Met Office has

:04:22. > :04:25.issued an early warning for rain on Tuesday. This evening we will have

:04:26. > :04:30.clear skies overnight, a few patches of mist and fog as we head into

:04:31. > :04:35.Monday morning. Temperatures not dropping away too far with overnight

:04:36. > :04:40.lows around nine Celsius. Bank Holiday Monday gets off to a decent

:04:41. > :04:44.start. Most places dry with some decent spells of sunshine around.

:04:45. > :04:49.The cloud increasing through the day, bringing the chance of one or

:04:50. > :04:54.two showers, but many places avoiding them and temperatures not

:04:55. > :05:02.doing too badly. Turning wetting on Tuesday. `` wetter.

:05:03. > :05:15.Good evening to you. Tomorrow the weather will be a little like a box

:05:16. > :05:20.of chocolate, you don't know what you are going to get until you head

:05:21. > :05:26.out. The weather was clear cut today, sunshine in the Midlands and

:05:27. > :05:29.the north. Tomorrow, there's going to be a mix

:05:30. > :05:33.of everything across the country and it will be changing a lot from

:05:34. > :05:38.morning into the afternoon and into the evening. This is what the

:05:39. > :05:42.weather is going to look like in the early hours, rain in the south-east,

:05:43. > :05:46.showers dotted around across western areas, and as far as the headline

:05:47. > :05:51.goes for Bank Holiday Monday, we'll call it sunshine and thundery

:05:52. > :05:55.showers, because they'll be hefty later on in the afternoon on Monday.

:05:56. > :05:59.This is what it starts like in the course of the morning. Note it is

:06:00. > :06:02.splodges of blue indicating the rainfall. They keep changing and

:06:03. > :06:07.moving into different places, there is a lot of sunshine coming through.

:06:08. > :06:11.In terms of the thundery downpours, we think the worst will be through

:06:12. > :06:16.this portion here whereas across the east, probably talking ability cloud

:06:17. > :06:17.and rain on and off with a bit of sunshine
