:00:19. > :00:21.evening. A hospital trust which is struggling to find the right people

:00:22. > :01:08.to fill vacancies is offering cash incentives to staff who can help

:01:09. > :01:11.solve the problem. The Stamford and Peterborough Hospitals Trust has

:01:12. > :01:15.been to Italy, Romania and Spain to tackle a shortage of nurses. Now its

:01:16. > :01:18.own workers are being offered a reward of up to ?350 if they can

:01:19. > :01:54.find suitable recruits. Our health correspondent Rob Sissons reports.

:01:55. > :02:08.means there will be 100 and nursing posts unfilled. The Royal College of

:02:09. > :02:18.Nursing says it all seems a bit desperate. We will attract staff and

:02:19. > :02:23.nurses to the hospital. There will be opportunities for training, key

:02:24. > :02:30.sorts of factors which attract people in. The trust points out it

:02:31. > :02:37.costs people ?1000 to take on each nurse in the UK when you take into

:02:38. > :02:52.account things like their fears. So it offers value for money. A scout

:02:53. > :02:55.troop's been left to pick`up the pieces after the fifth break`in in

:02:56. > :02:58.three years. Police are now investigating after a gang raided

:02:59. > :03:01.the group's huts on an island in the Trent. The scouts say they're

:03:02. > :03:03.devastated and will have to start fundraising all over again. Jo

:03:04. > :03:08.Healey reports. We are now approaching Barton Island. Around 30

:03:09. > :03:18.young people aged between ten and 18 come here every week to learn

:03:19. > :03:22.rowing, camping, surviving stills `` surviving skills. They have a great

:03:23. > :03:35.time and learn a lot but not any more. There is equipment has been

:03:36. > :03:39.stolen. The cut the lock off and we find equipment had been stolen. A

:03:40. > :03:46.lawn more, a generator, a brass bell. It is the fundraising we do

:03:47. > :03:55.with the children, it is the children it affects more than he. It

:03:56. > :03:59.is their island. The equipment belongs to the children. It makes me

:04:00. > :04:06.angry. You could not fathom out why they would want to do it to a group

:04:07. > :04:18.of children. Last year we saw how the Sea Scouts helped by army

:04:19. > :04:24.reservists built up their shelter. Now this has happened. They loaded

:04:25. > :04:32.the boards up, put all the equipment in it and went with it. While the

:04:33. > :04:36.police are investigating, the Scouts are fundraising again. On time and

:04:37. > :04:40.on budget. Derby's velodrome is set to open in the New Year and already

:04:41. > :04:49.it's being tipped as a very fast track suitable for setting world

:04:50. > :04:54.records. Jeremy Nicholas reports. 26 miles of narrow wooden planks,

:04:55. > :04:59.enough to stretch from Derby to Leicester, nailed together and all

:05:00. > :05:05.on schedule. We are on budget and on time. The quality of workmanship is

:05:06. > :05:13.superb and we are delighted, it has gone like a rain. We are going to

:05:14. > :05:29.Spanish `` finish off the sporting field. `` gone like a dream. Over on

:05:30. > :05:34.the far side there will be gym facilities which can be used through

:05:35. > :05:41.the day. There is a netball and basketball area. That might be used

:05:42. > :05:52.for rock and pop concerts, Arena staff. The main seating area is just

:05:53. > :05:58.there. Because of the type of timber it is and where it comes from, being

:05:59. > :06:07.in Siberia it grows really slowly because of the temperature. 255,000

:06:08. > :06:13.meals are put in by hand. We are not allowed to use a nail gun. It will
