:00:37. > :00:40.new research centre in Leicdster are analysing the protein and DNA

:00:41. > :00:45.samples of patients who havd suffered from heart conditions.

:00:46. > :00:49.They want to discover how to detect the first signs of both comlon

:00:50. > :00:54.A quarter of the people in this country will die

:00:55. > :00:59.of cardiovascular diseases, it's a really important area of ledicine.

:01:00. > :01:02.We don't fully understand the causes,

:01:03. > :01:08.This research will help to unravel those things.

:01:09. > :01:11.The research centre is based here where they treat

:01:12. > :01:14.around 17,000 people every xear for cardiovascular diseases.

:01:15. > :01:17.It's hoped they can harness as much of that patient information

:01:18. > :01:23.as possible and use it to bdtter understand the causes and potential

:02:33. > :02:39.One business leader told us earlier that the economy is showing

:02:40. > :02:46.There a range of jobs and you would expect that out of a recesshon.

:02:47. > :02:51.We talked to our members and those recruiting,

:02:52. > :02:57.80% full`time jobs, there h`s always been part time jobs in the dconomy.

:02:58. > :03:02.The TUC raised an issue of wages, that is the real issue becatse pay

:03:03. > :03:10.only rose by 0.9% compared to an inflation rate of 1.8%.

:03:11. > :03:14.People are losing money bec`use pay isn't keeping up with prices.

:03:15. > :03:23.A downturn in the economy, wages lag behind in recoverx.

:03:24. > :03:29.Our members told us 70% are increasing wages and the majority

:03:30. > :03:39.The newly elected MP for Newark Robert Jenrick has taken

:03:40. > :03:42.his seat in the House of Colmons for the first time today.

:03:43. > :03:45.As he made his way into the Chamber, he was cheered

:03:46. > :03:51.Mr Jenrick comfortably won the by`election with

:03:52. > :03:58.He was later personally congratulated by the Prime Linister.

:04:06. > :04:08.a half thousand times in thd year to March, that's around five htndred

:04:09. > :04:13.The council is urging anyond who suspects abuse,

:04:14. > :04:20.whether in a care home or private setting, to report their concerns.

:04:24. > :04:26.at a Derbyshire factory will be watching very carefully.

:04:51. > :04:56.mowers. Good enough not just for Brazil but an impressive line`up of

:04:57. > :05:01.other recent World Cup competitions.

:05:02. > :05:04.It started in 2008 with the Euro finals.

:05:05. > :05:09.We went to South Africa World Cup and supplied again all

:05:10. > :05:15.Followed by the Ukraine and Poland and finally in Brazil this xear

:05:16. > :05:20.The mowers have been manufactured at this factory near Derby

:05:21. > :05:25.40 staff hand`build them and they're tested to ensurd

:05:26. > :05:30.It's this British quality and the pedigree that had the Brazilians

:05:31. > :05:35.coming to Dennis 18 months `go for more than 30 machines.

:05:36. > :05:41.First, to the distributor and some contractors dealing with

:05:42. > :05:46.Subsequently, January 2014 we did the same exercise,

:05:47. > :05:50.training the specific groundsmen when the machines were in place

:05:51. > :05:53.The engines are Japanese, but all the other components are

:05:54. > :05:59.This firm too is seeing engineering business taking off

:06:00. > :06:02.The mowers seem tradition, but, in fact, the designs are well,

:06:03. > :06:07.They might be in Brazil this summer but the firm's

:06:08. > :06:12.We have France coming for the Euro finals in 2016 and then Russia

:06:13. > :06:20.It's a massive sense of achhevement for everybody within the colpany.
