:01:20. > :01:26.The verdicts today brought an end to the search for justice

:01:27. > :01:28.for an innocent family caught up in what was described

:01:29. > :01:34.The case has lasted many wedks at Nottingham Crown Court.

:01:42. > :01:46.in this small multicultural community in Leicester.

:01:53. > :02:00.Dr Muhammad Taufiq was in Dtblin, where he worked

:02:01. > :02:06.Late that night, he had phoned, speaking to each member

:02:07. > :02:12.His wife Shehnila, his daughter 19`year`old Zainab,

:02:13. > :02:18.and finally his sons, 17`ye`r`old Bilal and 15`year`old Jamal.

:02:19. > :02:28.We were five in total and now I am left alone.

:02:29. > :02:32.I can only begin to try and imagine what it must be like to losd all

:02:33. > :02:38.He got home on that Friday morning to fhnd that

:02:39. > :02:41.his family had been killed `nd it's just incomprehensible how you would

:02:42. > :02:49.With the help of phone records and hours of CCTV, they werd

:02:50. > :02:52.building up a dossier of evhdence which placed eight of the g`ng

:02:53. > :02:57.All Antoin's friends, fuelled with anger and thoughts

:02:58. > :03:05.This was their intended target, number 52,

:03:06. > :03:10.the family home of Abdul Hakim, one of the men that they believed to

:03:11. > :03:15.Instead, they targeted numbdr 5 where, inside, asleep and unaware

:03:16. > :03:19.of the danger, were Shehnil` Taufiq and her three children.

:03:20. > :03:25.It so unfortunate that the situation had arisen

:03:26. > :03:29.like this over a situation that had nothing to do with the family,

:03:30. > :03:32.The jury rejected claims from 22`year`old Tristan Richards,

:03:33. > :03:38.a convicted drug dealer, that he wasn't even there.

:03:39. > :03:46.In fact, he was the one who bought the petrol.

:03:47. > :03:53.They unanimously found him guilty of four counts of murder,

:03:54. > :03:56.along with 19`year`old Kemo Porter, whose DNA was found on the lighter.

:03:57. > :03:58.They returned unanimous verdict of manslaughter

:03:59. > :04:02.Porter and Carter were capttred on CCTV casually buying

:04:03. > :04:07.a takeaway chicken burger a short while after the fire broke out.

:04:08. > :04:12.Also found guilty of manslatghter by majority verdicts ` 19`ydar`old

:04:13. > :04:19.Nathaniel Mullings, 28`year`old Jackson Powell `nd Aaron

:04:20. > :04:27.Webb, 21`year`old Akeem Jeffers and 17`year`old Cairo Parker.

:04:47. > :04:49.Tonight, they face lengthy prison sentences for taking four innocent

:04:50. > :04:56.lives in their mistake in their mistaken pursuit for vengeance.

:04:57. > :05:00.A woman has spoken of the shocking moment when the police told her that

:05:01. > :05:02.the remains of a murdered couple had been found buried

:05:03. > :05:07.The victims had been there for 15 years.

:05:48. > :05:54.Today at Nottingham Crown Court the Wycherleys' daughter Susan Ddwards

:05:55. > :05:58.and her husband Christopher from Dagenham were sentenced to life with

:05:59. > :06:05.They shot the couple in 1998 and buried the bodies, then convinced

:06:06. > :06:09.neighbours and relatives th`t the Wycherleys were still alive

:06:10. > :06:13.They stole ?245,000 from thd couple, including pensions and the sale
